Firestorm review summaries:

Hired to ghost-write a book by a wealthy socialite (Kay Parker), Eric Edwards encounters--and takes advantage of--a world in which just about everyone is corrupt. From Parker''s and her husband''s (John Leslie''s) cheating ways to an au pair with sticky fingers (Rikki Harte) to Edwards'' quasi-girlfriend/stripper (Tina Marie), everybody seems to have an angle. The only innocent one? Parker''s and Leslie''s blind daughter (Joanna Storm)...who''s naively looking for love. So goes "Firestorm", an exceptional 1984 release from director Cecil Howard and Command Video. [read the full review]

Spitfire review summaries:

From its catchy opening score, cleverly-cut credits, and nostalgic shots of old-school New York City, it''s clear that the audience is in for a fun and sexy treat with "Spitfire", an exceptional 1984 release from director Cecil Howard and Command Video. Reproduced beautifully at Hotmovies.com, this production is in many ways pornographic poetry in motion from start to finish. Exquisitely captured and edited, this film is centered around a corrupt professor-turned-politician (R. Bolla) whose "chastity belt" agenda has caught on nationally and is bringing in millions. Of course, he''s actually a perv and a fraud, his daughter (Tigr) is an insatiable nymphomaniac, and his wife (Samantha Fox) is a gold digger in every sense of the word. Needless to say, the storyline is intricate, well-crafted and comical, the acting is superb throughout, and the end result is a true Golden Age classic that should not be missed. Fallen Angels (Alpha Blue Archives) review summaries:
fu_q's
While held in disdain as a selectively-edited hatchet job against the adult film industry by some insiders, 1985''s "Fallen Angels" nevertheless provides an interesting, contemporaneous behind-the-scenes look at the skin flick world of the mid-1980''s. Re-released digitally by Alpha Blue Archives and streaming on AdultEmpire.com''s Unlimited service, this film largely focuses upon a trio of porn starlets new to the industry (Kristara Barrington, Lisa Lake, and a short-termer named Kim), interviewing them (and, where applicable, their boyfriends) at various points over a several month period. Taboo Identity: The Evolution of Kay Taylor Parker, A review summaries:
Flash's
A Taboo Identity is a great documentary for fans of the adult movie industry, especially fans of the golden age of adult films. Not only does A Taboo Identity chronicle what Kay Taylor Parker has done since she retired from acting in adult films, the movie also tackles the stigma of life after adult movie acting and the difference between how adult actors and actresses are perceived by the public versus how the actors and actresses view themselves. Soundview Media Partners and MVD Visual have done a nice job with their DVD release of A Taboo Identity with nice audio and video quality. [read the full review]

Taboo 2 / Taboo 3 (Vinegar Syndrome Blu-Ray) review summaries:
Flash's
Taboo 2, while not as good as Kirdy Stevens' original Taboo, is an enjoyable feature adult film. The cast does an amazing job with their sex scenes and do a great job with the non-sexual scenes. Taboo 3, on the other hand, is a massive let down with a poor story that does little to connect with the first two films and seems like just an attempt to cash in on the Taboo name. Most viewers likely won't have any interest seeing the film more than once. Taboo 2 makes this release worth picking up. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this release. Taboo 2 has some issues with the video and audio but is still the best release of Taboo 2 on the market and Taboo 3 looks absolutely stunning. [read the full review]

X-Rated: The Greatest Adult Films of All-Time is a fun look at a series of films and movies that are culturally important to the adult entertainment industry from 1972 until 2013. X-Rated skimps on the historical impact that each of the included films had. However, the documentary is a nostalgic look through some of the best films to ever grace the blue screen. After the documentary is over, if you are a fan of feature films, you will want to rewatch films you had forgotten about and seek out others that you have missed. The fine folks at Vinegar Syndrome have scanned and restored two classic flicks from their original 35 mm camera negatives. Both films feature real life lovers Arcadia Lake and Eric Edwards and one of the films, BELLA from 1980, might just be one of the best from that era, while the other flick, ROBIN'S NEST from 1979, is a solid little xxx comedy. So, PEEKARAMA: ROBIN'S NEST/BELLA (2016, Vinegar Syndrome) becomes an easy rave recommendation for those classic fuck flick aficionados, who will finally get to see BELLA in a beautiful wide screen restoration along with some solid BELLA extras including a video interview with cinematographer Carter Stevens and a terrific original trailer. Too Naughty To Say No (Vinegar Syndrome) review summaries:
Rick L. Blalock's
In the 1984 film, TOO NAUGHTY TO SAY NO, "Betty"(Angel) is a good little Catholic Schoolgirl, who attends the local convent. Betty is studying her scriptures hard, as it is the day before the school's final exam. However, no matter how much she studies, she is hung up on a single, word, which appears several times throughout the writings. That would is "begat". She's not quite sure what it means. However, little did she know that soon enough, she would get at a heavy dose of "begatting"(of orgasms!). That's because soon, Betty doses off to sleep, as she subsequently finds her in a world unlike the one that she is accustomed. To her, it all looks the same, that is until things take a turn for the perverse. [read the full review]

When a wheeling-and-dealing businessman, played by Alan Marlow, suspects his ultra-active wife, the lovely blonde, Barbara Bourbon, of cheating on him during her various afternoon activities, only a pervy, self-described "peeping tom" and private eye, Eric Edwards, can help him uncover the truth. Of course, as it turns out, that truth may not be everything that it initially seems. Christy Canyon Triple Feature 4 review summaries:

Alpha Blue Archives' Christy Canyon Triple Feature Four brings together three mid-80s shot on video movies that are only related by the fact that Christy Canyon stars in all three of them. The three movies contained on the release are John Stagliano's Evil Angel, a hardbody feature, Hal Freeman's Sinfully Yours, an essentially all sex movie, and Mark Carriere's Savage Fury, a video roughie. Sinfully Yours is the best of the movies on the release with both Evil Angel and Savage Fury feeling like they were rushed productions. Overall, this is a rather disappointing collection of Christy Canyon movies. Alpha Blue Archives has done a poor job with their release of Christy Canyon Triple Feature Four utilizing some rather abysmal transfers. [read the full review]

I remember this movie from when it first came out. It combined two all American passions: Cheerleaders and football. This was the era of NFL cheerleaders posing in men's magazines and TV movies about the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders so the adult industry had no choice but to capitalize on it. But looking back on it now, you can tell the era it was filmed in. The lighting isn’t that good, the sex scenes are short and the women are very average looking. [read the full review]

Surrounded by the dirt and grime of 1970's New York City, a pervy, imbalanced porn shop creeper and window peeper, Jamie Gillis, finds himself pushed over the edge when he witnesses both an erotic enema at a local brothel and also the object of his obsession having sex with another man. Convinced that he can "cure" women of their perceived "impure behavior" via an enema (whether they like it or not), he goes on a spree that ultimately has him becoming a notorious and deranged rapist. Whether he'll be caught or whether he'll continue to terrorize the city's female population remains to be seen. Such is the case in "Water Power", a very good, 1976 release from Global Media International Films. [read the full review]

Waterpower is a bizarre film to come from Shaun Costello that has an even more bizarre release history. The TLA Entertainment Exclusive DVD contains two versions of the film on the disc. One called the original version and one called the director's cut. Neither is, to the best of my knowledge either the original version or the director's cut. The video quality is very good on the original version and varies from very good to poor in the director's cut. As of now, The Historic Erotica version appears to be the best release of Waterpower to have come out as of yet, but hopefully someday a definitive version will get released. [read the full review]

A frustrated, young housewife, the lovely Jesie St. James, finds her inhibitions quickly eroding away when she befriends the neighbor's daughter, Laurie Smith, who also works as a dancer and a prostitute at a local sex club. So, when she encounters the club and all of its various trappings, a sexual powder keg is set to blow...and that's exactly what it does. Such is the case in "Indecent Pleasures", an overall-good, 1984 release from Caballero and director Phillip Gem. [read the full review]

Debbie Does Dallas: Collector's Edition review summaries:
Flash's
Debbie Does Dallas continues to be an extremely popular adult film even to this day and is likely one of the best known of all adult films. The story of Debbie, a cheerleader, is one that transcends time and remains as fresh then as it does today. Debbie Does Dallas isn't the greatest adult film ever made but it certainly is fun to watch. If you haven't seen it yet and you are a fan of the genre, it is time to correct that. Media Blasters has done an excellent job with their Definitive Collector's Edition two-DVD release of Debbie Does Dallas with a beautiful, albeit soft, image and great audio quality. Taboo 2: The Story Continues!!, despite some problems with the script, is still a solid golden age classic feature film. The film deals with the themes of incest and features a great cast that sizzles in their sexual performances and do a great job with their nonsexual portions. Taboo 2: The Story Continues!! is an enjoyable adult film that is worth watching. The Standard Digital Signature series is a good release. There are some issues with the video, however, the film looks good. Wacky World Of X-Rated Bloopers review summaries:
fu_q's
"Wacky World of X-Rated Bloopers", an overall-decent, 1989 release from Gourmet Video and narrated by Kimberly Carson, is exactly as its name would imply--a collection of bloopers and behind the scenes material from a number of 1980's releases. Funny moments, true missteps, wood issues, and micromanaging directors are all highlighted. A number of stars from the era make appearances, some more so than others, and the release does provide a nice look at life on a porn set from a time period when BTS material really wasn't mass-produced and readily available. While it's not so much a production to get off to, it's certainly interesting and reasonably worth a watch. [read the full review]

Debbie Does Dallas & Devil In Miss Jones: Box Set review summaries:
Flash's
VCX's Ultimate Classic Collection combines two of VCX's most popular classic adult films Debbie Does Dallas and Devil in Miss Jones. Devil in Miss Jones is a dark drama that is a must-see adult classic. The story of Justine Jones, who commits suicide and finds herself trapped in between heaven and hell, holds up well and the sex scenes and acting make this a true classic. Again, this is an adult film that if you haven't seen it yet, it is time to correct that. There are far better versions of the two films out on the market. [read the full review]

Offering up spicy fantasies in juxtaposition to the banality of everyday life, "Babylon Pink" follows the lives and carnal conjurings of a variety of city women of differing ages and social standing, some related more closely than others. Indeed, this exceptional, 1979 release from Cecil Howard and Henri Pachard contrasts the vibrance of the sexual imagination with the sadness of reality and its drab dickings in such a way as to highlight the superiority of the former as it exists in the unsated longings (and lustings) of its multiple characters. What can be said about Shauna Grant? A young starlet from Minnesota who took the industry by storm in the early 1980's, it was her untimely passing, apparently at her own hands, that truly rocked the porn world and beyond. Indeed, her life became the subject of a made-for-TV movie, a documentary, news pieces and articles, and so on. Clearly, her situation ended in tragedy, and it shouldn't be forgotten. Still, Ms. Grant did make a number of adult films that can serve as a fine way for her fans to remember the blonde beauty of yesteryear. Herein, I review one of them, a compilation actually, "Shauna Grant: The Early Years", from VCX. [read the full review]

It's like a totally awesome time, for sure, like ya' know... when a pair of 1980's LA dykes lose their source of income and opt to pimp out a local group of valley girls as a means of making ends meet. Of course the girls, who are totally tubular tarts to begin with, are all down for it, especially needing money to buy clothes at the mall and all, which is like having a super rad sale. Such is the case in "California Valley Girls", a very good, 1983 release from VCX and director Hal Freeman.

Miss Passion & Love Bites review summaries:
Linus'
Miss Passion and Love Bites Double Feature Directed by: Suze Randall - Initial Thoughts: Flashback time, back to the days of bush and big hair. For this disc, we take a trip back to the 80's, when Amber and Ginger Lynn were all the rage in porn, and features ruled the day. Suze Randall brings us a double feature, one movie from each of these two super babes catalogue. Miss Passion features Ginger Lynn, and is hosted by Suze Randall as "Suze Cooze" and is kind of this mix between a sexual exhibition and a porn gameshow, basically the precursor to Gonzo, with some style and costumes added. Love Bites features Amber Lynn, and is more of a traditional feature, with a focus on fantasy. Both features are cut down a bit, "Miss Passion is missing about 19 minutes and 2 scenes, Ginger and Traci and Steve Drake and Traci. "Love Bites" is missing nearly 25 minutes, and I couldn't find how many scenes since there was no good breakdown anywhere I looked. Again Traci is the reason. [read the full review]

Sinfully Yours (Hollywood Video) review summaries:
Flash's
Sinfully Yours is rather standard fare to have come out of the 80s shot on video adult entertainment market. The sex scenes look good and the movie has a strong cast, however, despite masquerading as a feature the movie is essentially an all sex release. As a result, Sinfully Yours is a hard movie to recommend unless you are a fan of the stars. Hollywood Video has done a good job with their release with good video quality and decent audio but no extras. [read the full review]

Seeking inspiration, a good, ole-fashioned "who done it?" unfolds when a trashy, though popular, writer (John Leslie) and his lovely wife (Gina Carrera) take a trip across Europe on the Orient Express railway. Of course, along the way, a priceless gem is stolen, a murder is committed, and plenty of naughty nookie goes on. Such is the case in "Lust on the Orient Xpress", a very good, 1986 release from Caballero and director Tim McDonald. [read the full review]

Corporate Assets (VCX) review summaries:
fu_q's
It's a dark and lonely world for a corporate prostitute, Tish Ambrose, who, despite having all of her material needs met and then some, only finds true happiness in the letters of a mentally troubled war buddy, Eric Edwards, of her deceased brother. Indeed, Tish appears to have it all as the longstanding head-lady of R. Bolla's cadre of corporate cuties, who provide sexual services to both the better employees of his firm and corrupt politicians alike, yet her heart yearns to quench its emptiness. It's solely Edwards' writings that can fill this void, so it's with great happiness that she greets him when he finally gets up the courage to surprise her with a visit. Of course, this doesn't sit well with Bolla, her boss, whose strong-arm tactics clash with the pair's feelings for one another violently. How it will all end up--happily or in blood...or both--remains the unanswered question of the day. Such is the case in "Corporate Assets", an exceptional, 1985 release. [read the full review]

Summer Of Laura review summaries:

Along a lonely beach on a summer colony off the Long Island coast, a man walks slowly, reliving a summer, the summer of Laura, when he was 19. Richie has a friend on the island, Gene, who is gregarious and mischievous. Like the more sensitive Richie, he too, was 19. During that summer of awakening he loses his youthful desires and develops his manhood. On the way to the movies, Richie literally bumps into Laura, an older woman who lives nearby. She asks him if he'll help her with some chores the following day. He is totally flustered, but agrees. Richie goes to her house and after knocking on the door, and getting no response, enters. On the floor he finds a crumpled telegram which reads, "Your husband, Bob Hayes, has been killed in action." Laura appears, lonely and vulnerable. She moves toward him in a gesture of human contact. They slowly begin to dance. "That summer we lost five Frisbees, saved a girl from a silly snake, saw our first skin flick, and I lost my Laura." The sea rises [read the full review]

It's all about sex, lies, and money (...and more so about the money...) when two conmen, Alan Marlow and Eric Edwards, and a streetwise hitchhiker whom they pick up along the way, Jennifer Jordan, set up a rich "mark" to not only buy worthless stock in a factory but to also purchase his way into a bordello that doesn't actually exist. Of course, their plans are intricate, including temporarily setting up the faux-brothel, and involve as much pussy as they do persuasion. Oddobsessionmovies'
The Bite is not as it seems. Originally released in theatres as The Big Con, the film resurfaced a year or so later, re-titled THE BITE, as a means to cash in on the success of The Sting. Although the two films share similar plot elements, The Bite takes a far more lyrical and comedic touch to the subject matter That said, I'll spare you a major plot summary, other than to say the film involves a few 1930s crooks who decide to con a banker into buying a brothel. The Bite (or The Big Con) is an amusing, if not outright fun hardcore romp from 1974. The cast, among them Sara Nicholson, Alan Marlo, Robert Everett, and future disco star Andrea True all provide fine acting performances. The direction (by ex-nudie filmmaker Jerry Denby who also directed the excellent Whatever Happened To Miss September?) is strong and the film as a whole has much higher production values than most at the time. The film as a whole feels like a well made nudie film, which makes the explicit sex quite annoying much of the time. [read the full review]

"Maraschino Cherry" is an interesting release from 1978, Radley Metzger, and Video-X-Pix that, once again, appears that I'm going to be the only one who really likes it. Indeed, this film--to a large degree--comes off as "trying too hard" to replicate the type of nonchalant, sexual action/attitude that pervades films like "Barbara Broadcast" and so on. Still, in many ways, it's enjoyable and sexy...enough so that I found it a worthy purchase. [read the full review]

Don't be fooled by the fact that this was directed by Radley Metzger, who directed such acknowledged classics as The Opening of Misty Beethoven. This film just doesn't come close to the level of Misty Beethoven, or Metzger's other efforts. The DVD was transfered from an extremely distressed print of the movie. This thing is simply terrible to look at, and there is little eroticism, despite the presence of the superstars of the era, including Leslie Bovee, Gloria Leonard, Constance Money, and Annette Haven. For example, Constance Money's scene consists only of a short handjob. About the only thing that saves this film from being a complete waste is the nasty, kinky S&M scene with C.J. Lang. NOTE: This is not your typical review. Others have done an excellent job reviewing the content, scenes, performances, etc. of this porn classic. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. MARASCHINO CHERRY DVD IS THE PITS! Radley Metzgers last hardcore effort under his Henry Paris nom-de-film is finally available on DVD from Video-X-Pix. Well, they saved the worst for last and by that, I dont mean from a content standpoint! While Maraschino Cherry is generally regarded as the weakest of that group of films, even Metzgers weakest efforts far outstrip those of most of his porn peers and successors, IM (and many others) HO. Year: 1974 Length: 73 minutes approximately MEMORIES WITHIN MISS AGGIE from 1974 by porn director legend Gerard Damiano is a true classic, that is given a truly terrible dvd transfer. Although advertised as available from Arrow dvd by Excalibur films, this is in fact a transfer they themselves have done of the film from an old Arrow vhs of the film. The transfer is horrible and that is the only thing that keeps me from giving this film a perfect rating. This movie is one of the best porn films I've seen, and it holds it's own as a film story wise also, which is important as this one aims to be a feature. The story behind this film is that Miss Aggie is a slightly crazy middle aged woman, who imagines the ways she met her current companion and she has flashbacks imagining herself as a young woman having sex with him as a young man. The first scene is between Eric Edwards and Kim Pope and it's pretty good, they are both very innocent in this scene. It's strange to see Eric Edwards so young looking as he was in this film. A young, married woman, Tracey Adams, finds herself on a deep journey of sexual introspection and fantasy when her husband, Herschel Savage, is unable to make her orgasm. Guiding her along her erotic path is none other than the "Weaver", Paul Thomas, an entity whose purpose it is to aid Tracey in creating the tapestry that will become her sensual subconscious. Such is the case in "Sailing into Ecstasy", an overall-good, 1985 release from Eric Edwards and VCX. [read the full review]

Armand Weston was one of the finest directors ever to make hardcore films. Although he usually crafted dark and depressing tales, this 1978 film was his foray into comedy. With a fantastic cast of regulars, and Leslie Bovee as the female lead, Weston crafted a wonderful, skilfully acted, sumptuously shot, and cleverly written parody of films of American culture from the 30s to the 60s. This 1978 feature directed by "Armand Weston" is a good example of "golden age" adult filmmaking. The plot is a take off on the Oscar Wilde story, "The Picture of Dorian Grey." The protagonist's name has been changed from Dorian Grey to "Darrin Blue," (played amazingly by Wade Nichols). And instead of a painting, his youthful image is captured on a porn film that his liberated 1920's flapper girlfriend (Georgina Spelvin) secretly had made of them making love outdoors. When she shows it to him later, he wishes that the image on the film could get old, and that he could stay youthful forever. You might have guessed that that is exactly what happens. The 1930s have Wade Nichols doing a remarkable imitation of James Cagney, during the 1940s, he's doing Humphrey Bogart (and Annette Haven). During the 50s, he's doing James Dean and making love on his motocycle. During the 1960s, still as youthful as ever, he is, you guessed it, a hippie doing drugs and having an orgy. Since this was shot in the 1970s, that brings us up to the present. [read the full review]

Very "dark" plot including scenes of kidnapping, bondage and forced sex. The acting is fairly good although the A/V quality isn't the best (e.g. - some sex scenes substitute music for the actual sounds from the actors/actresses). This movie is famous for as lustful a lesbian scene as you will ever see. In it, Leslie Bovee eats, nay, devours Abigail Clayton's sweet, young pussy so voraciously, it borders on cannibalism. The camerawork is terrific as Abigail appears to gasp while Bovee firmly holds onto her squirming, orgasming body - feverishly sucking and tongue-lashing the pretty young actress' spasming pussy with all of her sexual energy until it actually seems that Clayton can take no more (this is one scene where the actual moans, groans and lip-smacking from the actresses would have added to the already volcanic nature of the action). Length: 84:20 Year: 1977 The Caballero dvd of A Coming Of Angels is presented in full-screen which doesnt appear to be correct because during the ending credits the names are cut off on the left and right of the screen, but during the rest of the movie you dont notice anything really being cut off. Unlike earlier Caballero dvds this one is on one track so you dont have those layer changes that cause the pauses, such as on Amanda By Night. The story to this movie is that Mark (Jamie Gillis) is an evil kidnapper who sells the women he kidnaps to various buyers. Before he does this though he and his evil sidekicks train the women how to be sexually submissive. This movie was meant to be a take off of Charlies Angels, with Carrie (Annette Haven), Jennifer (Abigail Clayton), and Robin (Leslie Bovee) playing the angels. Jennifer has been kidnapped by Mark and his gang and so the other two angels are out to find her and that is the basic plot to the movie. classic connoisseur's
Length: 84 minutes Year: 1980 The Budding of Brie starring Hillary Summers revolves around the story of her and how she screws her way to the top in Hollywood and becomes a big star. This is a very classy looking film and looks like it had a very high budget. One thing I didn't like about the sex scenes was the excessive talking during them especially because they only had rather stupid things to say to each other. If they had had sexy things to say then it would have been ok but as it was this did not help the film. The video quality of this film is great as is the audio quality of this dvd. VCA has done a great job. I have bought a few VCA dvd's and have been impressed with all of them in terms of audio and video quality. There is a commentary track included with Jim Holliday and Shayla LaVeaux although this is not as informative as on some of the other classic VCA dvd's as neither of them was involved with the making of this film. Missy arrives and takes Steve back home to her place. After Steve takes a shower he tries to seduce Missy but Missy refuses by saying she doesn't want Steve back in her life. The Erotic World of Cody Nicole isn't a bad showcase film for the star Cody Nicole. The film doesn't bother to spend much time on the non-sexual portion and doesn't resort to giving each scene a story. Instead, Nicole introduces each scene and off the viewer goes into the sex scene. Surprisingly, Classic X Collection's DVD release of The Erotic World of Cody Nicole isn't bad with good video and decent audio. [read the full review]

Alexandra (VCA) review summaries:
classic connoisseur's
Length: 92:48 Year: 1983 The VCA dvd of Alexandra is presented full screen and the picture is as clear as can be expected for a film 20 years old. The audio is in excellent shape and comes through clear at all times and I didn't notice any hard to understand dialogue. Now on to the plot of the movie. This movie has enough plot to keep a soap opera going for 6 months, but don't let that discourage you my fellow porn viewers. I found the story well developed and if you follow it closely it is quite interesting and it will hold your attention. You do have to pay attention though to know what is happening. This is not a film you can fast forward through and know what is happening. The plot involves 3 couples of whom the men of the 3 couples all have one thing in common they have all dated Alexandra. Alexandra remains a mystery throughout the movie. Alexandra has something in store for these 3 couples though, she wants the guys, girlfriends to think that she is about to tell their boyfriends about their secret sexual shenanigans. Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann, The (VCA) review summaries:

NOTE: This is not your typical review. Others have done an excellent job reviewing the content, scenes, performances, etc. of this porn classic. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. PAMELA MANN DVD EDITS After doing a side-by-side, shot-by-shot comparison of the VCA DVD version of Henry Paris (Radley Metzgers) first hardcore porn classic, The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann, with an old video that appears to have been made from an original release print of the film, it looks like only one major scene, plus a couple of minor recaps including that scene, have been edited and/or shortened for the Pamela Mann DVD. However, the edited scene is a major one, as will be detailed later. [read the full review]

All bets are off when three young women, each with her own life issues, hopes, and dreams, finish their first year of college and decide that it's time to take life by the balls and experience whatever's out there. Of course, "experience" means excessive drinking, some drug use, partying, and plenty of hot, steamy sex...both straight and lesbian...all to the benefit of the viewer at home. Such is the case in "Sweet Young Foxes", an overall-good, 1983 release from VCX and director Bob Chinn. [read the full review]

Although Sweet Young Foxes is a good film, I have trouble recommending this disc due to the poor video quality of the transfer. The film will be liked by those who like a plot with their sex, couples, fans of the classics and those who like to sit down and watch a whole adult film. The film will not be liked by those who hate a plot with their porn and fans of nasty sex. If you are interested in purchasing the film, I recommend a rental first. [read the full review]

Although it is unfortunate that both films have been cut and the picture quality in the first one is questionable, these are still two very well done films. If you are a fan of the classics, of either of these films, of school girl or summer camp themed movies you probably want to pick this disc up since this is probably the best treatment these films are going to get on DVD and since the packaging states that they are limited editions. Otherwise, I would avoid this title. [read the full review]

Of course, as he continues his descent into despondence, his aunt (Honey Wilder) begins to take note. Her solution? To hire a private psychologist, the lovely Kay Parker, to treat young Tom while she''s away for a weekend. A feature from the early 80s. Kay Parker is a therapist brought in to coax withdrawn teen Tom Byron out of his shell. Mainly MF sex with one FF bathtub scene, one solo-female scene, and a brief j/o by Tom Byron. Your opinion will largely depend on whether you like Playboy or Hustler, as this is definitely the former. Sex is vanilla and not so explicit as modern stuff. Kay Parker is only in one sex scene. But overall it's fun and well done. [read the full review]

The VCX dvd of Debbie Does Dallas is slightly longer than the NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas. I have seen both and noticed 4 slight cuts to the NuTech dvd. None of which were major. The running time on the VCX dvd is 19 seconds longer than the NuTech dvd, but the NuTech dvd has a better quality picture so I would recommend going with the NuTech dvd over the VCX dvd. The VCX dvd is divided into 5 chapters and there is a pause when the player switches between these chapters. This is not the case on the NuTech dvd as the movie is on one track on the NuTech dvd. The NuTech dvd appears to have been transfered from a film source while the VCX dvd appears to have been mastered from a vhs tape. [read the full review]

Starring: Annette Haven, Sharon Mitchell, Seka, Lisa Deleeuw, Bridgette Monet, Lee Carrol, Abigail Clayton, Veronica Hart, Serena Eric Edwards, Paul Thomas, Jamie Gillis, Hershel Savage First of all, let it be understood that I hold no porn prejudices. If people want to have sex for my entertainment, who am I not to watch them? That means, among other things, that I have absolutely nothing against "old school" porn. By the same token, however, I don't think "classic" movies are inherently better than what's made today. With that in mind, Blue Ribbon Blue presents itself as a greatest hits package of classic stars. Unfortunately, it's not. In fact, it was produced years ago before its performers were even considered legends, and its poor mastering reflect just how much of a thrown together effort it actually is.
