The Little Details Running Time: 47 min. Production Date: 2005 Director: Francis Hanly Cast: Eric Edwards, Herschel Savage, Robin Byrd, R. Bolla, and many more The Short Story Initial Expectations: I havent really heard anything about this one, but its definitely piquing my interest. Initial Reaction: Although thought provoking at times, overall it comes off as unfocused. Who Should Watch It : Anybody interested in the darker side of the porn industry Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting a documentary that focuses on Debbie Does Dallas The Technical Stuff Audio /Video Quality: The technical aspects vary a little due to the style of the movie. The interviews are handled nicely, with audio and video that are both nicely clear. The clips of Debbie Does Dallas, as one would expect, are blurry and dated with weak audio. Music: The music lies nicely in the background and gives a good mainstream feel to the feature. Menus: The menus are extremely basic. [read the full review]

review from 6/14/2017:
VCX's Ultimate Classic Collection combines two of VCX's most popular classic adult films Debbie Does Dallas and Devil in Miss Jones. Debbie Does Dallas continues to be an extremely popular adult film even to this day and is likely one of the best known of all adult films. The story of Debbie, a cheerleader, is one that transcends time and remains as fresh then as it does today. Debbie Does Dallas isn't the greatest adult film ever made but it certainly is fun to watch. If you haven't seen it yet and you are a fan of the genre, it is time to correct that. Devil in Miss Jones is a dark drama that is a must-see adult classic. The story of Justine Jones, who commits suicide and finds herself trapped in between heaven and hell, holds up well and the sex scenes and acting make this a true classic. Again, this is an adult film that if you haven't seen it yet, it is time to correct that. There are far better versions of the two films out on the market. [read the full review]

review from 5/20/2017:
A budding, young woman with some unique daddy issues, the cute-as-can-be Lysa Thatcher, finds herself running toward New York City to find her twin sister after an unexpected sexual encounter with her mother's boyfriend, Jamie Gillis, goes awry. Of course, along the way, she happens upon myriad bizarre characters, all of whom have their own sexual kinks and predilections, and most of whom are interested in including her in them. What will ultimately become of young Lysa and her journey...and what the Hell's actually going on, quite honestly...end up as the burning questions of the day. Such is the case in "Neon Nights", an exceptional, 1981 release from Command Video and director Cecil Howard. [read the full review]

review from 1/4/2017:
Offering up spicy fantasies in juxtaposition to the banality of everyday life, "Babylon Pink" follows the lives and carnal conjurings of a variety of city women of differing ages and social standing, some related more closely than others. Indeed, this exceptional, 1979 release from Cecil Howard and Henri Pachard contrasts the vibrance of the sexual imagination with the sadness of reality and its drab dickings in such a way as to highlight the superiority of the former as it exists in the unsated longings (and lustings) of its multiple characters. review from 7/9/2016:
What can be said about Shauna Grant? A young starlet from Minnesota who took the industry by storm in the early 1980's, it was her untimely passing, apparently at her own hands, that truly rocked the porn world and beyond. Indeed, her life became the subject of a made-for-TV movie, a documentary, news pieces and articles, and so on. Clearly, her situation ended in tragedy, and it shouldn't be forgotten. Still, Ms. Grant did make a number of adult films that can serve as a fine way for her fans to remember the blonde beauty of yesteryear. Herein, I review one of them, a compilation actually, "Shauna Grant: The Early Years", from VCX. [read the full review]

It's like a totally awesome time, for sure, like ya' know... when a pair of 1980's LA dykes lose their source of income and opt to pimp out a local group of valley girls as a means of making ends meet. Of course the girls, who are totally tubular tarts to begin with, are all down for it, especially needing money to buy clothes at the mall and all, which is like having a super rad sale. Such is the case in "California Valley Girls", a very good, 1983 release from VCX and director Hal Freeman. [read the full review]

review from 6/8/2005:
Miss Passion and Love Bites Double Feature Directed by: Suze Randall - Initial Thoughts: Flashback time, back to the days of bush and big hair. For this disc, we take a trip back to the 80's, when Amber and Ginger Lynn were all the rage in porn, and features ruled the day. Suze Randall brings us a double feature, one movie from each of these two super babes catalogue. Miss Passion features Ginger Lynn, and is hosted by Suze Randall as "Suze Cooze" and is kind of this mix between a sexual exhibition and a porn gameshow, basically the precursor to Gonzo, with some style and costumes added. Love Bites features Amber Lynn, and is more of a traditional feature, with a focus on fantasy. Both features are cut down a bit, "Miss Passion is missing about 19 minutes and 2 scenes, Ginger and Traci and Steve Drake and Traci. "Love Bites" is missing nearly 25 minutes, and I couldn't find how many scenes since there was no good breakdown anywhere I looked. Again Traci is the reason. [read the full review]

Sinfully Yours is rather standard fare to have come out of the 80s shot on video adult entertainment market. The sex scenes look good and the movie has a strong cast, however, despite masquerading as a feature the movie is essentially an all sex release. As a result, Sinfully Yours is a hard movie to recommend unless you are a fan of the stars. Fed up with cheating, noncommittal, douchey guys, a dynamic duo of biomedical researchers, played by the stunning and legendary Tracey Adams and Nina Hartley, take matters into their own hands (...and pussies...) in creating at first a synthetic, functioning, bionic cock...and then, ultimately, the body (Eric Edwards) to go along with it. Of course, their so-called "Monster" quickly gets out of hand, craving more sex than its two creators can provide...and how the beautiful babes will end up solving this problem whilst also maintaining their newfound life-form's integrity remains the burning question of the day. review from 9/2/2017:
It's a dark and lonely world for a corporate prostitute, Tish Ambrose, who, despite having all of her material needs met and then some, only finds true happiness in the letters of a mentally troubled war buddy, Eric Edwards, of her deceased brother. Indeed, Tish appears to have it all as the longstanding head-lady of R. Bolla's cadre of corporate cuties, who provide sexual services to both the better employees of his firm and corrupt politicians alike, yet her heart yearns to quench its emptiness. It's solely Edwards' writings that can fill this void, so it's with great happiness that she greets him when he finally gets up the courage to surprise her with a visit. Of course, this doesn't sit well with Bolla, her boss, whose strong-arm tactics clash with the pair's feelings for one another violently. How it will all end up--happily or in blood...or both--remains the unanswered question of the day. Such is the case in "Corporate Assets", an exceptional, 1985 release. [read the full review]

review from 2/28/2010:
Along a lonely beach on a summer colony off the Long Island coast, a man walks slowly, reliving a summer, the summer of Laura, when he was 19. Richie has a friend on the island, Gene, who is gregarious and mischievous. Like the more sensitive Richie, he too, was 19. During that summer of awakening he loses his youthful desires and develops his manhood. On the way to the movies, Richie literally bumps into Laura, an older woman who lives nearby. She asks him if he'll help her with some chores the following day. He is totally flustered, but agrees. Richie goes to her house and after knocking on the door, and getting no response, enters. On the floor he finds a crumpled telegram which reads, "Your husband, Bob Hayes, has been killed in action." Laura appears, lonely and vulnerable. She moves toward him in a gesture of human contact. They slowly begin to dance. "That summer we lost five Frisbees, saved a girl from a silly snake, saw our first skin flick, and I lost my Laura." The sea rises [read the full review]

It's all about sex, lies, and money (...and more so about the money...) when two conmen, Alan Marlow and Eric Edwards, and a streetwise hitchhiker whom they pick up along the way, Jennifer Jordan, set up a rich "mark" to not only buy worthless stock in a factory but to also purchase his way into a bordello that doesn't actually exist. Of course, their plans are intricate, including temporarily setting up the faux-brothel, and involve as much pussy as they do persuasion. Whether it will all go off without a hitch or whether it will fall in around their ears is the question of the day. review from 5/21/2006:
The Bite is not as it seems. Originally released in theatres as The Big Con, the film resurfaced a year or so later, re-titled THE BITE, as a means to cash in on the success of The Sting. Although the two films share similar plot elements, The Bite takes a far more lyrical and comedic touch to the subject matter That said, I'll spare you a major plot summary, other than to say the film involves a few 1930s crooks who decide to con a banker into buying a brothel. The Bite (or The Big Con) is an amusing, if not outright fun hardcore romp from 1974. The cast, among them Sara Nicholson, Alan Marlo, Robert Everett, and future disco star Andrea True all provide fine acting performances. The direction (by ex-nudie filmmaker Jerry Denby who also directed the excellent Whatever Happened To Miss September?) is strong and the film as a whole has much higher production values than most at the time. The film as a whole feels like a well made nudie film, which makes the explicit sex quite annoying much of the time. [read the full review]

Indeed, this film--to a large degree--comes off as "trying too hard" to replicate the type of nonchalant, sexual action/attitude that pervades films like "Barbara Broadcast" and so on. Still, in many ways, it's enjoyable and sexy...enough so that I found it a worthy purchase. [read the full review]

review from 5/11/2006:
Don't be fooled by the fact that this was directed by Radley Metzger, who directed such acknowledged classics as The Opening of Misty Beethoven. This film just doesn't come close to the level of Misty Beethoven, or Metzger's other efforts. The DVD was transfered from an extremely distressed print of the movie. This thing is simply terrible to look at, and there is little eroticism, despite the presence of the superstars of the era, including Leslie Bovee, Gloria Leonard, Constance Money, and Annette Haven. For example, Constance Money's scene consists only of a short handjob. About the only thing that saves this film from being a complete waste is the nasty, kinky S&M scene with C.J. Lang. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. MARASCHINO CHERRY DVD IS THE PITS! Radley Metzgers last hardcore effort under his Henry Paris nom-de-film is finally available on DVD from Video-X-Pix. Well, they saved the worst for last and by that, I dont mean from a content standpoint! While Maraschino Cherry is generally regarded as the weakest of that group of films, even Metzgers weakest efforts far outstrip those of most of his porn peers and successors, IM (and many others) HO. Year: 1974 Length: 73 minutes approximately MEMORIES WITHIN MISS AGGIE from 1974 by porn director legend Gerard Damiano is a true classic, that is given a truly terrible dvd transfer. Although advertised as available from Arrow dvd by Excalibur films, this is in fact a transfer they themselves have done of the film from an old Arrow vhs of the film. The transfer is horrible and that is the only thing that keeps me from giving this film a perfect rating. This movie is one of the best porn films I've seen, and it holds it's own as a film story wise also, which is important as this one aims to be a feature. The story behind this film is that Miss Aggie is a slightly crazy middle aged woman, who imagines the ways she met her current companion and she has flashbacks imagining herself as a young woman having sex with him as a young man. The first scene is between Eric Edwards and Kim Pope and it's pretty good, they are both very innocent in this scene. It's strange to see Eric Edwards so young looking as he was in this film. Armand Weston was one of the finest directors ever to make hardcore films. Although he usually crafted dark and depressing tales, this 1978 film was his foray into comedy. With a fantastic cast of regulars, and Leslie Bovee as the female lead, Weston crafted a wonderful, skilfully acted, sumptuously shot, and cleverly written parody of films of American culture from the 30s to the 60s. review from 3/7/2005:
This 1978 feature directed by "Armand Weston" is a good example of "golden age" adult filmmaking. The plot is a take off on the Oscar Wilde story, "The Picture of Dorian Grey." The protagonist's name has been changed from Dorian Grey to "Darrin Blue," (played amazingly by Wade Nichols). And instead of a painting, his youthful image is captured on a porn film that his liberated 1920's flapper girlfriend (Georgina Spelvin) secretly had made of them making love outdoors. When she shows it to him later, he wishes that the image on the film could get old, and that he could stay youthful forever. You might have guessed that that is exactly what happens. The 1930s have Wade Nichols doing a remarkable imitation of James Cagney, during the 1940s, he's doing Humphrey Bogart (and Annette Haven). During the 50s, he's doing James Dean and making love on his motocycle. During the 1960s, still as youthful as ever, he is, you guessed it, a hippie doing drugs and having an orgy. Since this was shot in the 1970s, that brings us up to the present. [read the full review]

review from 2/8/2006:
Very "dark" plot including scenes of kidnapping, bondage and forced sex. The acting is fairly good although the A/V quality isn't the best (e.g. - some sex scenes substitute music for the actual sounds from the actors/actresses). This movie is famous for as lustful a lesbian scene as you will ever see. In it, Leslie Bovee eats, nay, devours Abigail Clayton's sweet, young pussy so voraciously, it borders on cannibalism. The camerawork is terrific as Abigail appears to gasp while Bovee firmly holds onto her squirming, orgasming body - feverishly sucking and tongue-lashing the pretty young actress' spasming pussy with all of her sexual energy until it actually seems that Clayton can take no more (this is one scene where the actual moans, groans and lip-smacking from the actresses would have added to the already volcanic nature of the action). Length: 84:20 Year: 1977 The Caballero dvd of A Coming Of Angels is presented in full-screen which doesnt appear to be correct because during the ending credits the names are cut off on the left and right of the screen, but during the rest of the movie you dont notice anything really being cut off. Unlike earlier Caballero dvds this one is on one track so you dont have those layer changes that cause the pauses, such as on Amanda By Night. The story to this movie is that Mark (Jamie Gillis) is an evil kidnapper who sells the women he kidnaps to various buyers. Before he does this though he and his evil sidekicks train the women how to be sexually submissive. This movie was meant to be a take off of Charlies Angels, with Carrie (Annette Haven), Jennifer (Abigail Clayton), and Robin (Leslie Bovee) playing the angels. Jennifer has been kidnapped by Mark and his gang and so the other two angels are out to find her and that is the basic plot to the movie. Robert (John Leslie) has a serious problem throughout the movie. [read the full review]

Length: 84 minutes Year: 1980 The Budding of Brie starring Hillary Summers revolves around the story of her and how she screws her way to the top in Hollywood and becomes a big star. This is a very classy looking film and looks like it had a very high budget. One thing I didn't like about the sex scenes was the excessive talking during them especially because they only had rather stupid things to say to each other. If they had had sexy things to say then it would have been ok but as it was this did not help the film. The video quality of this film is great as is the audio quality of this dvd. VCA has done a great job. I have bought a few VCA dvd's and have been impressed with all of them in terms of audio and video quality. There is a commentary track included with Jim Holliday and Shayla LaVeaux although this is not as informative as on some of the other classic VCA dvd's as neither of them was involved with the making of this film. Original Format: Video Cast: Candy Samples, Herschel Savage, Brett Neilson (aka Gabriella), Colleen Brennan, Honey Wilder, Ron Jeremy, Cyndee Summers, Eric Edwards, Billy Dee, Laura Lee, Shone Tee, Greg 'Rocky' Rome Review: It isn't often that I find myself enjoying a compilation video because I enjoy plot with my sex, but More Than a Handful #1 is a rare exception. The tagline promises that "BIGGER is definitely BETTER" and they must be right because I had a great time watching it. The sex was hot and every scene that they chose showed people really enjoying themselves. There is not one moment in the whole DVD where someone looks bored or appears to be faking it. These scenes are the good stuff - porno gold! All the women have nice, big breasts and, best of all, they're real. No silicone or saline here folks, only good old-fashioned boobs like mom used to have. Only these girls are prettier and nastier than mom - they are hot sex fiends. The video has 10 separate scenes, featuring 5 busty vixens: 1. [read the full review]

Armed with a telescope and an overactive libido, Tommy Byron finds himself becoming more and more detached from reality as he peeps in on his super-hot (and super-freaky!) neighbors, Joanna Storm and Laurie Smith. Of course, as he continues his descent into despondence, his aunt (Honey Wilder) begins to take note. Her solution? To hire a private psychologist, the lovely Kay Parker, to treat young Tom while she''s away for a weekend. Needless to say, this brings about its own unique set of sexy circumstances...and things heat up! So goes "Private Teacher", a very good, 1983 release from director Robert McCallum and Caballero. review from 4/22/2012:
A feature from the early 80s. Kay Parker is a therapist brought in to coax withdrawn teen Tom Byron out of his shell. Mainly MF sex with one FF bathtub scene, one solo-female scene, and a brief j/o by Tom Byron. Your opinion will largely depend on whether you like Playboy or Hustler, as this is definitely the former. Sex is vanilla and not so explicit as modern stuff. Kay Parker is only in one sex scene. But overall it's fun and well done. [read the full review]

review from 6/12/2017:
Debbie Does Dallas continues to be an extremely popular adult film even to this day and is likely one of the best known of all adult films. The story of Debbie, a cheerleader, is one that transcends time and remains as fresh then as it does today. Debbie Does Dallas isn't the greatest adult film ever made but it certainly is fun to watch. If you haven't seen it yet and you are a fan of the genre, it is time to correct that. VCX has done a decent job with their remastered DVD release of Debbie Does Dallas. The image quality is decent and the audio is great. [read the full review]

review from 8/11/2015:
When Bambi Woods (Debbie) wins an opportunity to be a Texas Cowgirl, she and her fellow cheerleaders will stop at nothing to pay for the trip, even if it means providing special "services" to the local community's men. Such is the case in "Debbie Does Dallas", a very good, extraordinarily recognizable classic from director Jim Buckley and VCX. [read the full review]

review from 2/16/2003:
Length 83:42 Year 1978 This review will be a comparison between the 2 current releases of Debbie Does Dallas by the companies VCX and NuTech. With a review of the movie following. The VCX dvd of Debbie Does Dallas is slightly longer than the NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas. I have seen both and noticed 4 slight cuts to the NuTech dvd. None of which were major. The running time on the VCX dvd is 19 seconds longer than the NuTech dvd, but the NuTech dvd has a better quality picture so I would recommend going with the NuTech dvd over the VCX dvd. The VCX dvd is divided into 5 chapters and there is a pause when the player switches between these chapters. This is not the case on the NuTech dvd as the movie is on one track on the NuTech dvd. The NuTech dvd appears to have been transfered from a film source while the VCX dvd appears to have been mastered from a vhs tape. [read the full review]

review from 5/28/2016:
As a young woman attracted solely to married men, the brunette beauty, Kelly Nichols, finds herself perpetually used and disappointed in both her love life and her professional life, as she's frequently cast off to the shadows in favor of wives and children in her various affairs. Never is this more the case than when her boss, the taken Eric Edwards, opts to not only take advantage of her for himself, but also for the sake of the company. Such is the case in "The Mistress", an overall-good, 1982 release from director Jack Remy and VCX. [read the full review]
