Review:
Surrounded by the dirt and grime of 1970's New York City, a pervy, imbalanced porn shop creeper and window peeper, Jamie Gillis, finds himself pushed over the edge when he witnesses both an erotic enema at a local brothel and also the object of his obsession having sex with another man. Convinced that he can "cure" women of their perceived "impure behavior" via an enema (whether they like it or not), he goes on a spree that ultimately has him becoming a notorious and deranged rapist. Whether he'll be caught or whether he'll continue to terrorize the city's female population remains to be seen. Such is the case in "Water Power", a very good, 1976 release from Global Media International Films. Featuring Jamie Gillis in the type of dark and disturbing role that he was born to play, along with an all-star female cast, including the likes of C.J. Laing, Sharon Mitchell, Jean Silver, and Clea Carson, this film is not only sexually depraved but also well-written and superbly-acted. While enemas may not be everyone's thing (they're certainly not mine), there's plenty to take in here beyond them, and this flick is worthy of a watch if for no other reason than its perverse plot alone. Fans of the Golden Age, "roughies", Gillis, Laing, and/or realistic features definitely need to check this one out. It's sick, it's dark, it's unique, and you won't be able to take your eyes away from it from start to finish.

In terms of the sex, Scene One pairs up the curious, New York perv, Jamie Gillis, and a City prostitute, a young Sharon Mitchell, at the "Garden of Eden" brothel. Mitch looks great here, and it isn't long before she disrobes out of her glitzy, silver outfit and gives Jamie his ten dollars' worth. She blows him expertly, and he ultimately jerks off in his own hand...smearing the spunk on her face. In Scene Two, Eric Edwards plays the role of a doctor and Marlene Willoughby plays his nurse at the "Garden", as they tape their blonde patient's, Jean Silver's, mouth shut and administer an enema to the unwilling, young lass. As Jean supposedly expels the solution (not shown, though the tip insertion, etc. is), Marlene sucks and jerks Eric until he blows a load in her hand and on her face. Jamie's watching in from an observation window as this all goes on, and he finds himself simultaneously both disturbed and aroused by the entire affair. Scene Three finds the flight attendant / across-the-way neighbor of Jamie's, Clea Carson, blowing and fucking her cheating boyfriend, Leo Lovemore, in her apartment, all as Gillis watches in jealously with his telescope from afar. Part of the action is captured though his lens, and the remainder is filmed "normally". A pop on her bush closes out this quickie coupling. In Scene Four, Jamie loses his shit after having viewed the prior sequence and breaks into Clea Carson's place. He rapes her at gunpoint, fucking her from behind, and then administers a "purifying" enema as he jerks off (no expulsion shown). Scene Five brings together two cops assigned to the ensuing case, the stunning C.J. Laing and John Buco, who get acquainted a bit better at her place after sharing a drink (oral, vaginal ; load on her tummy and bush out of missionary). In Scene Six, two nubile sisters, Susaye London and Barbara Belkin, decide that the cure for the late-night blues is a good pussy-eating. Unfortunately for them, Jamie Gillis busts in with his gun just after they get started...raping one of them and then tying them both up in the shower for "purifying" enemas. Expulsions aren't shown, but Gillis does ejaculate on one of the hotties' breasts. Scene Seven features a bust gone wrong, as C.J. Laing, acting as a decoy, takes Gillis back to her place. Her partner misses her cue and leaves her helpless with Jamie, who figures out her play. He proceeds to handcuff her, stuff an apple in her mouth and tape it in, and then finger her. Of course, he's really there to give her an enema (or three), which is just what he does...in the bathtub. This time, some of the expulsions are shown, and things get a bit messy. Jamie fucks C.J. a bit here, as well, before the "fun" is done. From start to finish, this scene (...and the movie, in general...) are sick and twisted, but you simply can't stop watching. Wild stuff.
