Daughter of Discipline Double Feature review summaries:
Flash's
After Hours Cinema has put together two films that don't really go together on this release at all. One of the films, Daughters of Discipline, was made by Shaun Costello and shown at the Avon cinema chain and the other film, House of Kinky Pleasures, was made by Lowell Pickett and is clearly not made for the Avon cinema or at least in its present form it isn't. Unfortunately both films are incomplete and the transfer for both are rather rough. [read the full review]

Waterpower review summaries:
fu_q's
Surrounded by the dirt and grime of 1970's New York City, a pervy, imbalanced porn shop creeper and window peeper, Jamie Gillis, finds himself pushed over the edge when he witnesses both an erotic enema at a local brothel and also the object of his obsession having sex with another man. Convinced that he can "cure" women of their perceived "impure behavior" via an enema (whether they like it or not), he goes on a spree that ultimately has him becoming a notorious and deranged rapist. Whether he'll be caught or whether he'll continue to terrorize the city's female population remains to be seen. Such is the case in "Water Power", a very good, 1976 release from Global Media International Films. [read the full review]

Waterpower is a bizarre film to come from Shaun Costello that has an even more bizarre release history. The TLA Entertainment Exclusive DVD contains two versions of the film on the disc. One called the original version and one called the director's cut. Neither is, to the best of my knowledge either the original version or the director's cut. The video quality is very good on the original version and varies from very good to poor in the director's cut. As of now, The Historic Erotica version appears to be the best release of Waterpower to have come out as of yet, but hopefully someday a definitive version will get released. [read the full review]

Teenage Twins (Obsession Entertainment) review summaries:
Flash's
Teenage Twins is a very quickly developed and shot film that only exists due to Carter Stevens finding twins that would perform together. While far from the worst to come from the era, it is also far from the best to come from the era. The release by Obsession Entertainment is better than the VCX release, sporting beautiful colors and a transfer which likely came from a film print. [read the full review]

110 Volts Of Torture review summaries:
Flash's
110 Volts of Torture is a relatively poor compilation from Alpha Blue Archives. There are two movies included on the disc, Shaun Costello's Daughters of Discipline, which is missing at least 20 minutes of footage and isn't in great shape and Terry Sullivan's Young Girls in Bondage, which is such a bad film I am not sure how any masters managed to survive. The disc is poorly authored as well. There are three loops included on the disc, all in poor shape and all nasty and vile and hard to watch. I can't recommend this release for anyone. It's full-on, real-deal twincest in Carter Stevens' "Teenage Twins", a decent 1976 release from VCX. Featuring the real-life, identical twin sisters, Brooke and Taylor Young, in scenes both together (sexual contact) and separately, this one would most certainly be a big no-no today...which is where its (sole) appeal lies. Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann, The (VCA) review summaries:
greybeard's
NOTE: This is not your typical review. Others have done an excellent job reviewing the content, scenes, performances, etc. of this porn classic. This "review" concerns itself with how the DVD's contents compare with the complete, uncut original release version of the film or an early (before prior self-censorship) VHS version. The Ratings given refer either to the "original" version of the film (Performers, Plot, Sex, etc.) or to the DVD version (Extras, Value, etc.) and are relatively arbitrary. The important info is that which follows. PAMELA MANN DVD EDITS After doing a side-by-side, shot-by-shot comparison of the VCA DVD version of Henry Paris (Radley Metzgers) first hardcore porn classic, The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann, with an old video that appears to have been made from an original release print of the film, it looks like only one major scene, plus a couple of minor recaps including that scene, have been edited and/or shortened for the Pamela Mann DVD. However, the edited scene is a major one, as will be detailed later. [read the full review]
