Rick L. Blalock's
review from 12/1/2016:
From master filmmaker Alex deRenzy, comes one of the most radical erotic films of the 1970's, LONG JEANNE SILVER. Part documentary, part vignette film, Long Jeanne Silver follows the erotic encounters of beautiful amputee, Jeanne Silver, as she invites her lovers to experience her unique sexual gift. DeRenzy's cinema verite styled camera captures Jeanne as she experiences the pleasures of men and women alike, between heart felt and candid glimpses of her real life and personality. Vinegar Syndrome is proud to present this incredibly unique film on DVD fully uncut and newly restored from rare 16mm vault elements. [read the full review]

review from 4/8/2016:
Long Jeanne Silver is an odd film which will definitely not appeal to all viewers. It is essentially a showcase for amputee Jeanne Silver masking itself as a documentary. If you aren't into Silver or sex involving her stumped leg that resembles a giant penis, then this film won't appeal at all to you. Vinegar Syndrome has done a good job with the release with a nice looking transfer and a commentary track from Silver. [read the full review]

review from 10/17/2016:
Surrounded by the dirt and grime of 1970's New York City, a pervy, imbalanced porn shop creeper and window peeper, Jamie Gillis, finds himself pushed over the edge when he witnesses both an erotic enema at a local brothel and also the object of his obsession having sex with another man. Convinced that he can "cure" women of their perceived "impure behavior" via an enema (whether they like it or not), he goes on a spree that ultimately has him becoming a notorious and deranged rapist. Whether he'll be caught or whether he'll continue to terrorize the city's female population remains to be seen. Such is the case in "Water Power", a very good, 1976 release from Global Media International Films. [read the full review]

review from 11/8/2015:
Waterpower is a bizarre film to come from Shaun Costello that has an even more bizarre release history. The TLA Entertainment Exclusive DVD contains two versions of the film on the disc. One called the original version and one called the director's cut. Neither is, to the best of my knowledge either the original version or the director's cut. The video quality is very good on the original version and varies from very good to poor in the director's cut. As of now, The Historic Erotica version appears to be the best release of Waterpower to have come out as of yet, but hopefully someday a definitive version will get released. [read the full review]

review from 11/25/2009:
Jeanne Silver, a pretty amputee, appeared in men’s magazines and on San Francisco burlesque stages. She had the lower part of her left leg removed when she was a child. The remaining stump, extending several inches below her knee, is little more than bone covered with flesh. Director Alex DeRenzy uses the pseudo-documentary format to display Silver’s sexual habits. She fucks Amber Hunt during a threesome, impales two teenage students and even goes so far as to ram it up a homosexual’s ass. [read the full review]

review from 1/15/2007:
Alex DeRenzy produced more than a few good films during the 1970s but he also produced more than a few awful ones. This one falls into the second category. Simply a dumb way to make money off a gimmick. Long Jeanne Silver was a New York runaway who made her acting debut in Shaun Costello's Waterpower in 1976. She then came to San Francisco landing on The Mitchell Brother's doorstep. The Mitchells picked her up and put her in live sex shows. Soon washed up, DeRenzy decided to use her in one of his hardcore quickies and shot a standard vignette film with her peculiarity as the centerpiece. Now for those of you who don't know where Long Jeanne got her name, well...She doesn't have one of her legs (yes, you read that right) and uses the stump the same way gay boys use their arms! So Long Jeanne Silver (the film) is just that, consisting of scene after scene of Long Jeanne sticking her long john in lots of girls (and even one boy in by far the film's funniest scene). review from 10/16/2015:
Bambi Woods is back and as naively naughty as ever in "Debbie Does Dallas 2", a very good, Golden Age release from director Jim Buckley and Caballero. This time around, the young Debbie (Bambi) finds herself hitchhiking her way to her aunt's "ranch" after her stint in Texas as a cheerleader has come to a close. Little does she know, the "ranch" is actually a bordello, and it seems that everyone whom she encounters is more interested in getting a helping hand (...and mouth...and pussy...) than lending her one. review from 10/27/2004:
Debbie Does Dallas - Part 2 is the follow up to the smash adult hit Debbie Does Dallas. Although the film is a direct sequel where the story continues, it is taken in a very different direction. Viewers who enjoyed the first film of the series will definitely enjoy this one as well, along with viewers who enjoy fun films from this period of adult films. Viewers looking for nasty sex acts or who hate a real plot in their adult films probably won't find this film to their tastes. [read the full review]

The heartless, young sociopath, Raven, continues upon the diabolical path of familial destruction that she began in the first installment of this exceptional Henri Pachard mini-series, and this time around nothing and no one will remain standing in her wake. Such is the case in "Taboo American-Style 2", an excellent, 1985, incest-themed release from Fat Dog Productions. [read the full review]

review from 2/27/2016:
Picking up where the third installment left off, the sexually sociopathic Raven, having now effectively sucked her family dry and left them in ruins, moves on to the men and women of Hollywood. There, she uses her coldhearted, do-anything approach and extraordinary good looks to quickly work (...and fuck...) her way to the top...leaving yet another trail of victims in her wake. Such is the case in "Taboo American Style 4", the final episode in the exceptional, 1985 mini-series from Henri Pachard and Fat Dog Productions. [read the full review]

review from 2/27/2016:
All isn't right in suburbia, as the children of a well-off family headed by Paul Thomas and Gloria Leonard intermingle with the offspring of one of their poorer workers, R. Bolla. Indeed, the various inter-family relationships start out fairly typically, though still seedy and sexual in nature, but quickly spin and tangle into a wicked web of deceit and perversion as more and more secrets are uncovered. At the center of it all is the diabolical, black-tressed instigator, Raven, Gloria's and Paul's clearly disturbed 18-year-old daughter. Such is the case in "Taboo American-Style 1", an exceptional, 1985, incest-themed release from Henri Pachard and Fat Dog Productions. [read the full review]
