Synopsis:
Debbie Benson (Bambi Woods) didn't end up making the Texas cheerleading squad so she ends up heading to her Aunt Xaviera's (Ginger Jaye) ranch to become a country and western star. When she gets there she finds out that her aunt's ranch is a house of ill repute.

Audio/Video:
Debbie Does Dallas 2 is presented with an English 2.0 Mono track which sounds its age. The dynamic range is small with no highs or lows present. There is background hiss present throughout the film and the audio level jumps a few times. There are also a few loud pops during the presentation. Given the age of the film, this audio track is perfectly acceptable. VCA hasn't included any foreign language tracks or subtitle options for the film.

Debbie Does Dallas 2 is presented in the full screen aspect ratio of 1.33:1, which I don't believe is the original aspect ratio for the film. I believe that this film was originally theatrically released and most likely had an original aspect ratio of 1.66:1 or 1.78:1. However, evidence of the cropping isn't noticeable. As can be expected due to the age of the film, there are artifacts present throughout the film. In some places they are heavier than others and some places look very clean. The colors for the opening titles appear slightly over saturated and the print is on the soft side. However, for the age of this film, this presentation is about the best one can expect to ever see.

Cut Warning:
The back of the box states that the film has been modified from original version. I haven't seen the film in many years and the one that I saw back then was an old VCA VHS tape. Most of the film seems to be intact or was already cut back then. The only part that feels cut is the last scene with Bambi Woods and R. Bolla that runs for only two minutes and jumps very quickly from one sexual act to the next. This isn't to guarantee that this is the only cut. As I said the film could have already been edited on the VHS tape I saw or I could be forgetting parts that were in the film. If anything else is missing though it isn't obvious.

Special Features:
As is standard with classic releases, this disc is essentially a bare bones release. There is a photo gallery on the disc with 16 stills on a track. There is a cast list on the disc. There is also a selection of other titles that has boxcovers for The Opening of Misty Beethoven, Alexandra, The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann, and Barbara Broadcast but doesn't have any previews for the films.

Disc Design/Navigation:
The disc is designed with non-animated menus with background music. The chapter menu contains 8 chapters. Each one is identified by a video clip. There are 50 chapter stops within the feature film itself. There is a time code encoded on the disc for the feature film.

General Review:
Debbie Does Dallas — Part 2 is a plot based adult film from the golden age of adult films. Although a little bit of the events leading up to this film is skipped over quickly, the story is a continuation of the story from the original Debbie Does Dallas. However, instead of keeping a school theme to this film the story takes a new direction and focuses on Debbie on her own now. The story here appears to be very loosely based on Marvin Zindler's piece for KTRK Houston on The Chicken Ranch from 1973. I say loosely since only scattered events in the film can be recognized from the story but enough that it is probably originally based on that piece.

Like the first film, for the most part, the film is a fun little fluff piece where the sex goes hand and hand with the story. There is a place where the sex starts out non-consensual but it isn't a rape scene as is seen in some of the NY roughies. There is another scene which might have been non-consensual, however, it appears to be cut to pieces and given the shape of it, they might as well have cut the entire scene. The story is fun to watch though and it never gets in the way of the sex.

The sex scenes in the film are enjoyable. Viewers who are looking for nasty sex here will be disappointed as it is rather tame by today's standards. However, the set up for the scenes adds to the eroticism in them. Tame sex here doesn't mean that the sex isn't enjoyable to watch. There is a huge variation to the scenes and the acts that are performed in them. The sexual themes in the film are vaginal and anal sex with blow jobs, pussy fingering, hand jobs, lesbianism, vaginal toy use, pussy eating, male masturbation, and female masturbation. For viewers who care about condom use, there are no condoms used in the film at all.

As with most films from the period, the sets that are used are great. As far as mainstream standards they would be considered lacking, but in comparison to adult films today the sets are excellent. They fit the scenes and add to the film, even if there are a few problems with them. For instance the bars in the jail cell move. There are some outdoor plotted shots that fit in and add to the film as well.

Viewers who enjoyed the first film of the series will definitely enjoy this one as well, along with viewers who enjoy fun films from this period of adult films. Viewers looking for nasty sex acts or who hate a real plot in their adult films probably won't find this film to their tastes.
