Scoundrels review summaries:
fu_q's
Living a superficial, upper-middle class life with his mundane, flimsy facade of a family, a mediocre psychiatrist (Ron Jeremy) finds himself stuck with an unfaithful wife (Lisa B.), who's cheating upon him with his best friend (George Payne) and also their daughter's quasi-boyfriend (Sean Eilliott). Thrown into the mix is said budding, but "invisible" daughter (Tigr), who's covertly exploring her own sexuality in all manner of bizarre and dangerous ways. Of course, for his part, Ron is cheating with a slew of prostitutes and his clingy secretary (Copper Penny), who happens to also be banging Payne, as well. On top of it all, Ron finds himself harassed throughout the film (during cut-scenes) by a large, talking white light, the identity of which is fairly easy to figure out, though it isn't formally revealed until the end of the flick. Such is the case in "Scoundrels", a very good, 1982 release from Command Video and acclaimed director, Cecil Howard. [read the full review]

Scoundrels (Blu-ray/DVD Combo Pack) review summaries:
Flash's
Scoundrels is an excellent feature adult film from the golden age of adult films. The film was crafted with care and it shows in the end results. Scoundrels is a rather dark drama that uses hardcore sex along with the non-sexual portions to tell a story, instead of just having a story that exists to have sex scenes. Scoundrels is a must see for fans of feature-style adult films. Command Video has done an amazing job with their limited collector's edition Blu-ray and DVD combination package for Scoundrels with stellar image and audio quality and a wealth of extras. Peekarama: Afternoon Delights / Slave of Pleasure review summaries:
Flash's
Vinegar Syndrome has, yet again, put out a beautiful release of classic adult films with this entry in their long-running Peekarama series. This entry features two very different films from prolific adult film director Shaun Costello. Afternoon Delights is one of the best of the vignette films that was ever made by the adult film industry and Slave of Pleasure, the third and final entry in the Dan McCord series, is a hokey detective tale. This release is worth picking up for Afternoon Delights alone. Vinegar Syndrome has done a beautiful job with the audio and video quality on this release. [read the full review]

The Films of Phil Prince: Avon 7 Triple Feature is a mixed bag. The Taming of Rebecca is worth having as a film, but the transfer isn't the greatest and the film is missing a little footage. Angel in Distress isn't the greatest film that Prince made, the transfer is a mess, and is missing even more footage. Daughters of Discipline also isn't the greatest film that Prince made and is on the vastly superior Avon Triple Feature: Savage Sadists / Den of Dominance / Daughters of Discipline release from Vinegar Syndrome. Double Your Pleasure (CalVista) review summaries:
fu_q's
"Double Your Pleasure" is a DVD re-release of the notorious late-70s title of the same name. What makes this film controversial is that it is one of the few offerings available in which true, identical twin sisters engage in a sex act with each other (they partake in an actual, incestuous act). The twins in this case are the Young twins, Brooke and Taylor, who also appeared in another film together, "Teenage Twins". The plot here revolves around the twins, their uncle (who believes that they may have stolen money from him before running away), a private investigator (who is tasked with following the twins), and a number of other characters that they encounter along the way. This is a 70s porno, so there are no condoms involved, but there is plenty of bush to go around. The scenes tend to be shorter, and the plot tends to be heavier than in most modern adult films. If you are looking for a decent 70s flick, or are interested in the novelty of twin-sex, then this film is for you. [read the full review]

A Girl Like That (Gourmet Video) review summaries:

A twisted web of lies and sex results when Merle Michaels ends up secretly hooking to pay the bills so that her guy, Bob Presley, can go back to medical school. Of course, he fails miserably and winds up in the arms of prostitutes himself...all using her "hard" earned money. What will happen when their mutual indiscretions are discovered remains the burning question of the day. Kemal Horulu directs and edits WOMAN IN LOVE (1980, Caballero Home Video) with the lovely Laurien Dominque playing Christine Warren, a bored wife, who breaks from her dull hubby and their life on Long Island for a new job and other encounters in Manhattan. In a major role, Vanessa De Rio plays Simone Foster, a sex crazed catalyst for most of the sexual shenanigans that Christine encounters. Roommates (Video-X-Pix) review summaries:

It's a hefty dose of reality--and reality ain't always fair--for a trio of young women trying to chase down their dreams and make their way through the dirt and grime that is the Big Apple of the early 1980's. Indeed, "Roommates" from Chuck Vincent and Video-X-Pix, an exceptional, 1981 release, brings together a former prostitute trying to escape her past (Samantha Fox), a drug-addicted model who seems to find trouble everywhere she turns (Kelly Nichols), and an aspiring actress from out of town (Veronica Hart) as newly-minted roomies in the rough life of NYC. Quickly bonding, the women go through all manner of life's trials and tribulations together, often finding solace and comfort solely in one another's arms. [read the full review]

Debbie Does Dallas 2 (VCA) review summaries:

Bambi Woods is back and as naively naughty as ever in "Debbie Does Dallas 2", a very good, Golden Age release from director Jim Buckley and Caballero. This time around, the young Debbie (Bambi) finds herself hitchhiking her way to her aunt's "ranch" after her stint in Texas as a cheerleader has come to a close. Little does she know, the "ranch" is actually a bordello, and it seems that everyone whom she encounters is more interested in getting a helping hand (...and mouth...and pussy...) than lending her one. Debbie Does Dallas - Part 2 is the follow up to the smash adult hit Debbie Does Dallas. Although the film is a direct sequel where the story continues, it is taken in a very different direction. Viewers who enjoyed the first film of the series will definitely enjoy this one as well, along with viewers who enjoy fun films from this period of adult films. A curious, young woman (Veronica Hart) finds herself further and further entranced by an enchanted mirror that she and a friend happen upon in the back of a low-rent, New York City clothing store. Afternoon Delights is an excellent vignette feature film from prolific golden age director Shaun Costello. Costello put as much work into the non-sexual portions of the film as the sexual portions of the filmmaking Afternoon Delights feel, even though the sex scenes really aren't connected, like they all are connected and that the film is one continuous story.
