This Lady is a Tramp Review

VCX has re-released TRAMP (1980, Cal Vista) under the title THIS LADY IS A TRAMP for it's series of Cal Vista Classic DVDs, which debuted in 2008. Chuck Vincent directs this xxx comedy with Samantha Fox appearing in most of the sex scenes. She's fine but the movie is rather lame and the poor, dark visual quality of many scenes will dissuade many viewers. Looks like VCX did little to make this movie more watchable.

The story is rather flimsy even for a xxx comedy: a woman recounts her life in hopes of giving her lawyer something to counteract her husband's claims of infidelity in pending divorce proceedings. The wife, Danna Dewars (Samantha Fox) tells her lawyer one thing but flash backs reveal something entirely different. The action on screen counteracts Dana's I'm-classy-not-trashy schtick, which makes TRAMP an excuse to string together a bunch of Dana's sexual shenanigans. Below is a brief outline of her encounters:

A young pigtailed Dana Sue licks on her oversized heart shaped sucker then gives her step-daddy (David Pierce) a blowjob. The highlight is Dana sucking his dick and her sucker with the same licks---!! outa !!!!!

In the audience, Dana meets Vera (Gloria Leonard)and the two share a drink froma bottle, strike up a friendship, which includes a too brief girl/girl sequence in a sauna---!! outa !!!!!

Vera enlists Dana to perform in one of her movie masterpieces, Hung and Innocent. She directs while Dana saunters around in a domme get-up yelling "I'm the best cocksucker in the world" at Bobby Astyr with hands tied up near a pool table. After a poorly staged blow job, the action shifts to the pool table where hands-freed Astyr sucks and mish-fucks Samantha Fox. Vera's "ready for the money shot" direction leads to the cumshot which ends the scene along with her direction of "cut." An okay scene hampered by poor photography---!! outa !!!!!

Dana marries one of the rich backers of Vera's xxx movies. She becomes Dana Dewars and joins hubby Richard Dewars (R. Bolla) on a Carribean honeymoon where Dana fucks with a bellboy (Gino Colbert) while sending hubby out for champagne and other stuff. Hubby tires of the trips in and out of the room so he stays for a blow job and mish fucking, which leads to a cumshot landing on Dana's tummy. Meanwhile, the bellboy jacks off nearby, shoots his wad and leaves the room. A wacky scene, perfect for a silly feature but the sex stuff starts and stops way too much---!! 1/2 outa !!!!!

At their fancy estate, Dana leaves the dinner table to catch the maid and a waiter making out in another room. She joins them for a threesome with bright lights strangely positioned at the head of a huge bed. At the divorce proceedings, a nice comedic twist occurs for the finale but so what? TRAMP is mostly a series of scenes that showcase Samantha Fox's carnal talents but the flimsy premise devised by writer/director Chuck Vincent makes our heroine a one-note, white trash character. Chuck Vincent's JACK AND JILL (!!!! outa !!!!!) another xxx comedy also starring Samantha Fox is superior to THIS LADY IS A TRAMP aka TRAMP, which receives !! outa !!!!!

(A special note: IAFD lists Molly Malone as Dana's white trash mom in an early scene from TRAMP. A snippett from Hustler's 1984 Erotic Film Guide review quoted on the back of the DVD sleeve says "Molly Malone is hot in the sack." She was? Her sex scene must have been edited somewhere along the line)
