When it comes to the AVN Awards and the porn parody category, it's pretty much a lock that Axel Braun will win. For the comic book nerds/geeks, he's pretty much taken the whole erotic fan fiction genre and brought it to life for our pleasure. And that aspect is where he really shines, although sometimes the sex scenes fall a little flat for me. It is wrong or unfair to want some explosive and energetic scenes no matter what genre it is, I do think that the Romi and Ramon scene was the standout and highlight for me. But when it comes to parodies, I think you are more interested in the story, set up and Easter eggs that lead up to the sex between some of your favorite characters. Some major kudos to Seth for his great Ryan Reynolds impression, a definite highlight, but I know Axel puts in some work determining who is going to be in his movies.
