Pornogeist is an adult feature film from director Dick Bush and an uncredited writer. Despite the name, Pornogeist isn't an adult spoof of the Poltergeist films. Instead, Pornogeist is a spoof of “found footage” horror films in general, and it does an outstanding job spoofing them.

The story for Pornogeist is that KaizenXXX (Dick Bush) is making Screwed 2. He has found a location out in the woods that, according to legend, has a monster in the woods around it. He figured that making a porno about people having a party in a house in the woods that get attacked by a beast would make a good follow up to Screwed. Once the cast and crew arrive, problems start arising on the set. The cast and crew ended up going missing and were never seen again. Pornogeist is the edited footage that was found from their attempt to make Screwed 2.

Pornogeist is an excellent adult movie that does an excellent job with the concept. Dick Bush really plays up the idea of the “found footage” style film and has a lot of fun with what can be done within this style of film. Part of the reason that Pornogeist ends up working so well is the cinematography and the editing. The movie has the rough feel of a “found footage” style film where some of the footage is taken from the behind the scenes documentary being made of the creation of the movie, and some of the footage comes from KaizenXXX's camera shooting the actual footage for the movie. The two styles are cobbled together, giving the feeling that the footage was stitched together to create a narrative of what happened to the cast and the crew.

The sex scenes are perfectly integrated into the movie. Since the “found footage” involves the shooting of a pornographic movie, there is ample opportunity to include sex scenes. The sex scenes become part of the comic delivery device as well as shooting the sex scenes becomes more and more absurd as the cast and crew disappear during the shoot.

The cast is terrific in their roles. They manage to have excellent comic timing as well as giving great sexual performances. The cast pulls off playing their characters during the sex scenes and during the non-sexual footage making the viewer believe that what is going on could be plausible at first. As the movie goes on, the situations become more and more absurd as Dick Bush works the “found footage” parody for everything he can, very successfully.

Pornogeist is an excellent and original adult movie that should please fans of feature films that are looking for adult material with creativity behind it. The story is fun and amusing, and the sex scenes are well done. Pornogeist is highly recommended.

The picture is free from defects, and the colors in the movie look good.

Pornogeist is presented with an English Stereo audio track. The sound for Pornogeist doesn't exhibit any issues. The dialog in the movie is clear and easy to understand at all times.

Television X didn't include any extras with their streaming-only edition of Pornogeist.

Pornogeist is an incredibly well-done adult feature film from Television X and director Dick Bush. Pornogeist is an adult spoof of “found footage” style movies that features an original plot that holds the viewer's interest throughout the movie. The sex scenes are well blended into the movie, so they don't feel as if they are removing the viewer from the plot. Pornogeist is highly recommended for fans of adult feature films. Television X has done an excellent job with their streaming-only edition of Pornogeist available on TVXHardcore.com with good audio and video quality.
