Let My Puppets Come (Blu-ray/DVD) (Vinegar Syndrome) review summaries:
Flash's
Let My Puppets Come is a real oddity in the world of adult film being the first, and only, adult puppet musical movie. The film is an adult puppet show that lampoons the adult film industry, with well-made puppets, extensive musical numbers, and a good heaping of low-brow humor. Let My Puppets Come isn't going to be for everyone in fact, the viewers that will genuinely enjoy the film will be in the minority. For the right viewer, though, Let My Puppets Come is a fun film. Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their Blu-ray and DVD combo pack with excellent picture and sound quality. [read the full review]

All sexual hell breaks loose when two dopes, one a fish oil salesman and the other a raving mad genius, concoct an elixir for their newly-formed, natural medicine store that ends up being a potent, long-lasting aphrodisiac. A pack of sex-hungry loons that terrorize San Francisco with their untamed libidos is the result. Climax of Blue Power, A (Blu-ray) (Vinegar Syndrome) review summaries:
Flash's
A Climax of Blue Power is an interesting roughie. A Climax of Blue Power was initially made as the softcore roughie The Impersonator by Lee Frost and then was converted, with inserts, into the hardcore roughie A Climax of Blue Power. Some of the inserts were well done and others, not so well done. As an exploitation film, despite being quickly made, A Climax of Blue Power works well. As a hardcore film, A Climax of Blue Power works poorly, and the inserts add nothing to the film at all. Vinegar Syndrome has done a nice job with their Blu-ray and DVD combo pack of A Climax of Blue Power with good sound and picture quality. [read the full review]

Hot Lunch (Vinegar Syndrome) review summaries:
fu_q's
When his promiscuous, dissatisfied hippie of a wife (Dorothy Smight) opts to divorce him, leaving him unable to pay to for it, the down-on-his-luck Jon Martin has little choice but to take on a low-end job as an encyclopedia salesman for an ambitious businesswoman (Brigit Olsen), who's also the client of his attorney (Christine DeShaffer). Of course, Jon would be an utter failure at this piece of his life, as well, if it weren't for his almost uncanny ability to ensnare women with his naively innocent charm...and then satisfy them thoroughly with his seemingly mystical cock. Such is the case in Howard Perkins' overall-good, 1978 release, "Hot Lunch", which has been skillfully remastered by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

Devil's Due review summaries:
fu_q's
Traumatized by one awful experience after another, a young, promising high school graduate, Cindy West, ultimately finds herself both without a voice and also initiated into a sexualized, satanic, New York City cult. With her hatred of men growing by the minute, and the cult's leader, Guy Thomas, interested in only one thing from his flock, it remains to be seen whether Cindy will fall victim yet again or whether she'll rise above it all and find solace (and revenge) in the arms of her lord, Satan. Such is the case in "Devil's Due", an overall-good, 1973 release from director Ernest Danna and re-mastered by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. Dark Dreams (Vinegar Syndrome) review summaries:
Flash's
Vinegar Syndrome has done an absolutely stunning job with their DVD release of Roger Guermantes 1971 film Dark Dreams. Unfortunately, the film, itself, isn't that good. Dark Dreams is a horror/adult feature film hybrid which is a dream-based film. Even when the viewer reaches the end of the film, the plot makes little sense and the film is very erratically edited with some less than erotic sex scenes. Dark Dreams looks absolutely beautiful on this release, however, the film itself is impossible to recommend. [read the full review]

Intrusion is one of the most brutal and offsetting adult films ever made and the film is one of the best of the horror-adult hybrid films. The sex is unlikely to be erotic due to the psychological horror aspects of the film and the non-consensual nature of the sex scenes. However, the film is truly chilling due to the great cast and the good script and should be enjoyed by fans of the genre. Vinegar Syndrome has done an excellent job with their DVD release of Intrusion with an amazing image quality and excellent audio. [read the full review]

This release from Vinegar Syndrome has two films from Duck Dumont from the same year on it. Both films suffer from the same issue, a lack of a plot and some lacking set design, but both have the same positive to them, some excellent sex scenes. Fans of Dumont will obviously want to pick up this release fans of the genre may ultimately be disappointed by the films on the release. Hollywood Cowboy review summaries:
Flash's
Hollywood Cowboy is a unique and interesting bisexual feature adult film from the early 1970s. What makes Hollywood Cowboy so interesting is the combination of heterosexual and homosexual sex scenes in the film. It isn't all that common to see both within an adult film. Hollywood Cowboy has a lot of issues with it, however, the film is a bunch of campy fun making the film well worth watching. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with their streaming only version of Hollywood Cowboy available on Exploitation.TV that has good video and audio quality. [read the full review]

Midnight Hustler review summaries:
Flash's
The Midnight Hustler is an overall ugly film from an anonymous director. Sadly, The Midnight Hustler just serves as an example of how cheap and slimy adult films could be in the 1970s. The plot is essentially non-existent and many of the sets are plain lacking. The sex scenes aren't overly well-done. The Midnight Hustler is an easy film to skip. The quality of the film itself aside, Vinegar Syndrome has done a good job with their streaming only version of The Midnight Hustler on Exploitation.TV. Their print is beaten up and there are some issues that go back to the production but Vinegar Syndrome has made what they had to work with look good. [read the full review]

LA Plays Itself is a gay half all sex and half vignette adult film from Fred Halsted. LA Plays Itself makes for an interesting watch. There is little dialog and the first of the two parts in the film appears to be without a story. The second part, however, does contain a story even though it still has little dialog. The story is told through the images presented to the viewer. What both pieces put together means in totality is left for the viewer to decide on their own. LA Plays Itself is definitely worth a watch. Vinegar Syndrome's VOD release on Exploitation.TV of LA Plays Itself is a little rough around the edges with a well-worn print but perfectly watchable. Winter Sports is an early hardcore feature, which is honestly a stretch to really call a feature, that manages to fail at every aspect of being a hardcore feature film. Fugitives, The (Vinegar Syndrome) review summaries:

The Fugitives is a rather bad essentially softcore roughie from 1970 from an uncredited director. The plot is really bad and the softcore sex scenes aren't very well-done either. Honestly, there is no real reason to see The Fugitives. The streaming edition from Vinegar Syndrome on Exploitation.TV is in decent shape and watchable. [read the full review]

In the 1984 porn comedy, HOT FLASHES, a night of broadcasting for the anchors of an all sex Television station, WSEX channel 69 is chronicled. We join the channel's 3 female anchors reporters, Rebecca Wallflower(Nicole Blanc), and Rosie Raindrop(Dorothy Onan), along with bubbly weather girl, Josephine Juicyfuit(Karen Summer) as they cycle through a night's broadcast. WSEX channel 69 is a station like no other, as the topic is always sex, veering from the norm of everyday news. [read the full review]

Hot Pistols review summaries:
Flash's
Hot Pistols starts off strong but then quickly falls apart and loses all the potential that the film had becoming nothing more than your standard, quickly made, quickly forgotten adult film. Come to the end of the film, unfortunately, most viewers will find that Hot Pistols was a waste of their time. Vinegar Syndrome has done an acceptable job with their streaming-only edition on Exploitation.TV with a beat-up almost colorless image and below average audio quality. [read the full review]

Rick L. Blalock's
Writer/Director Kemal Horulu's 1983 drama-thriller, NEVER SLEEP ALONE, begins with an ominous tone right out of the gate. This as the camera captures a scene outside of a court building, where all we can hear are the ongoing proceedings of a trial. It is then that the film takes us back in time to chronicle the life of Lisa Alexander"(Tina Marie) and her husband "Dan Alexander"(John Leslie). Lisa and Dan, maintain an unconventional lifestyle. They are swingers, and often go to parties thrown by their neighbor "Diana"(Honey Wilder) at a local club called "Plato's Retreat", where basically anything goes, when it comes to sex. Both Lisa and Dan are very open in their relationship and are allowed to have relations with others, however, they have but one rule. They are not to sleep with each other's friends. This is something that they have been able to manage. However, soon, things get complicated, when Dan begins to have eyes for Diana's new roommate, "Natalie"(Joanna Storm). [read the full review]

The fourth entry into the popular TABOO series, TABOO IV: THE YOUNGER GENERATION is a 1985 film, centering around Dr. Jeremy Lodge(Jamie Gillis), a Psychologist specializing in incest. The Author of a book, titled, Incest: The Family Taboo , Lodge makes the rounds educating those about incest, and what could be the cause of it. He believing that adultery to be one of the main culprits. Besides making promotional tours, and doing things such as radio shows, the topic of incestuous relations is also the subject of weekly meetings between he and his patients(Among them, Barbra Scott and Joyce McBride from the saga's previous entries). Vice Vs Vice sadly has no redeeming qualities as an adult film. It is just one of many cheaply churned out bad adult films that no one expected to live past the film reels all deteriorating. The acting is poor, the sex is badly captured, and the story seems to have been an afterthought. There are many adult films worth watching, however, Vice Vs Vice isn't one of them. Oral Generation review summaries:
fu_q's
The particular value of Vinegar Syndrome's re-master and reissue of "The Oral Generation" is primarily a historical one. Indeed, this film provides a fairly unique window back to the past and the early days of the industry's inception. Presented as a documentary--which was typical for such early releases due to obscenity standards of the era--this production offers up a mix of educational material and commentary. The principal focus is upon oral sex--still something of a taboo in 1970--and its value to couples, particularly women. [read the full review]

Taboo 2 / Taboo 3 (Vinegar Syndrome Blu-Ray) review summaries:
Flash's
Taboo 2, while not as good as Kirdy Stevens' original Taboo, is an enjoyable feature adult film. The cast does an amazing job with their sex scenes and do a great job with the non-sexual scenes. Taboo 3, on the other hand, is a massive let down with a poor story that does little to connect with the first two films and seems like just an attempt to cash in on the Taboo name. Most viewers likely won't have any interest seeing the film more than once. Taboo 2 makes this release worth picking up. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this release. Taboo 2 has some issues with the video and audio but is still the best release of Taboo 2 on the market and Taboo 3 looks absolutely stunning. [read the full review]
