When Jamie Gillis, sporting a dick-nose pair of glasses, throws a party, all of the masked, costumed freaks--from maids to furries to doctors to magicians and so on--show up...and fuck. What results is a hardcore, nonstop entanglement of flesh involving the likes of John Holmes, Sharon Mitchell, Mai Lin, Misty Dawn, Ron Jeremy, and several other notable performers of its time...and the ensuing action is hot! Such is the case in "Marathon", an exceptional, 1983 release from director Carlos Tobalina and remastered by Vinegar Syndrome. The orgy that is this flick spans two rooms at Gillis' apartment--the living room and the bedroom--and even makes its way (at about the midpoint) to a local hospital room, where two of the would-be participants are laid up...but not badly enough to not get laid themselves, mind you. Throughout, the assorted combo of cunt, cock, and costumes--coupled with creative captures and kinky action--keeps this little fuck-flick interesting and fresh. Indeed, there's so much going on that it's often difficult to take it all in...and that's definitely a good thing. Highlights include John Holmes plowing punani with his mammoth meat, Sharon Mitchell sensually rubbing two cocks in her hands and mouth simultaneously, Sparky Vasc adding some blonde-haired, African American flavor to the proceedings, Misty Dawn doing double penetration (DP) and anal, lengthy girl-girl action that kicks off the hospital portion of the proceedings, and the special attention that the two patients, one of whom is Bill Margold, receive, as well. Of course, one shouldn't forget the variety of hefty cum-shots interspersed throughout, either, that give some form of conclusion to the otherwise-ongoing activities. Needless to say, Vinegar has done its typical, exceptional work in restoring this one--clear audio, crisp visuals, rich color, etc.--and the result is simply an awesome mash-up of high-end talent, strong production values, and a sexy stew of jerk-off soup. For those hankering for a scorching, hardcore offering from porn's Golden Age that isn't too heavy on the plot, this one will certainly hit the spot. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner!
