Whatever Mama Wants is a fun gay adult film thriller of sorts. Whatever Mama Wants was directed by Roger Marks and was written by Gorton Hall, the co-founder of Jaguar Films. Whatever Mama Wants has a simplistic story but one that actually works rather well for the film. The story is enjoyable and there is enough to the story that it will entertain straight as well as gay viewers.

In Whatever Mama Wants, Jerry (Rick Cassidy) is a hustler with a straight roommate who does shows for a man only known as Mama. Mama is a rich ailing cross-dresser who likes to watch sex shows with male hustlers that are performed in his elaborate house. Bernie handles the hustlers and the shows for Mama and hates Jerry due to his attitude of thinking he is better than the others. Bernie sets the stage to knock Jerry's attitude down a peg or two.

Rick Cassidy, using the stage name Jim Cassidy that he used for his gay adult film performances, does a good job with the main character in the film. He brings life to the character of Jerry, which is good since Cassidy carries the entire film. The sex scenes are hard to rate in the film since this reviewer is straight, however, the cast appears to be enjoying themselves in them.

Whatever Mama Wants is nicely shot and looks nice to the viewer. The film is shot keeping Mama mostly a secret and never showing his face. There aren't many locations used in the film but they fit and work well. Whatever Mama Wants has a good pacing to the story and the sex scenes and nicely breaks them up through the film.

Overall, Whatever Mama Wants is a fun gay adult feature film that has a plot similar to a thriller, but not quite, that engages the viewer throughout the film. There is enough within Whatever Mama Wants to entertain both gay and straight viewers. Fans of the genre are highly recommended to check out this film.

Whatever Mama Wants was shot on film and it looks like Vinegar Syndrome has utilized a film print for their streaming release. Whatever Mama Wants is presented in the academy aspect ratio of 1.33:1. The transfer for Whatever Mama Wants looks, for the most part, absolutely gorgeous. The image is crisp and clear and sports the expected light print damage, grain, and artifacts. There is some slight damage in the print toward the end of the film that results in black lines horizontally on the image and exterior scenes are very blue. Interior scenes look normal with beautiful color representation. Overall, this is a beautiful transfer.

Whatever Mama Wants is presented with an English monaural audio track. The audio has the expected pops and crackles present throughout the presentation. There is some damage to the audio toward the end of the film that results in some garble in the audio. The dialog in the film is clear and easy to understand at all times during the presentation.

Vinegar Syndrome hasn't included any extras for their release of Whatever Mama Wants.

Whatever Mama Wants is a fun gay feature adult film that has enough plot to entertain a straight viewer as well as a gay viewer. This isn't to say that there aren't issues with the film but none of them are significant enough to ruin the film. Fans of the genre should give this one a chance, they will be pleasantly surprised. Vinegar Syndrome has done a good job with their streaming only release of Whatever Mama Wants on Exploitation.TV. There is a little bit of damage in the presentation but usually, the film looks beautiful!
