In the 1980 film, A PLACE BEYOND SHAME, Seka is a woman, whom, for some reason has lost her sex drive. After a most recent mishap with her potential lover, "Paul"(Don Fernando), Seka is frustrated beyond believe. Frustrated that she can't let her inhibitions fly, and indulge in the pleasures of sex. This is when she brings her frustrations to her best friend, "Diane"(Lori Blue), who is pretty promiscuous herself But as Diane goes on to explain it, she wasn't always this way. There was actually a time that Diane could not climax, thus experiencing the joys of the adventure. To rectify her situation, Diane hooked up with an unorthodox Psychiatrist named "Michael"(Paul Thomas), whose practices, soon knocked Diane out of her slumber. 42nd Street Forever: The Peep Show Collection Volume 15 is a decent compilation of loops from back when they were shot on 16mm film and released on 8mm film for home viewing. As can be expected from a compilation such as this, some of the loops are far better than others. Impulse Pictures has done a decent job with the release, all of the loops included are in good shape but unfortunately the only identification they have been given is their original name. If you like the old 8mm grinders, you will find a lot to like here. [read the full review]

As with the TVX release of (Anna) Obsessed, the film "For The Love Of Pleasure" and the TVX release of said film are very different, so different in places that when watching the uncut version it almost feels like a new movie. That said, the following is a review of the original uncut version off of a 1986 Essex Home Video tape. Anyone even marginally familiar with hardcore films of the 1970s has undoubtedly heard of Annette Haven and Jamie Gillis and as familiar as I am with their work, their roles in this 1979 film has always seemed a bit odd, even by 70s hardcore standards. The plot: **HEREIN MAY LAY SPOILERS** Jamie Gillis is Simon, a down on his luck, petty thief who makes the mistake of breaking into the home of a woman who, upon seeing him, forces him to have sex with her then shoots him to death when her husband comes home. It should be noted that Jamie keeps his gym shoes on throughout the entire sex scene...
