Taboo American Style: The Ruthless Beginning (Fat Dog) Review

Review:
All isn't right in suburbia, as the children of a well-off family headed by Paul Thomas and Gloria Leonard intermingle with the offspring of one of their poorer workers, R. Bolla. Indeed, the various inter-family relationships start out fairly typically, though still seedy and sexual in nature, but quickly spin and tangle into a wicked web of deceit and perversion as more and more secrets are uncovered. At the center of it all is the diabolical, black-tressed instigator, Raven, Gloria's and Paul's clearly disturbed 18-year-old daughter. Such is the case in "Taboo American-Style 1", an exceptional, 1985, incest-themed release from Henri Pachard and Fat Dog Productions. In what can only be termed pornographic soap-operatic perfection, this first installment of four in the mini-series is utterly engrossing and extraordinarily hot. Its sex is steamy, its cast is beautiful, its plot and acting are superb, and its verboten themes are played to absolute maximum effect. The result is simply awesome. For fans of the classics and / or features, this one is absolutely NOT to be missed. It's that good.

In terms of the sex, Scene One offers up the lower-end neighborhood handyman, R. Bolla, and Gloria Leonard in a small, dark basement getting down to business on an old piece of lawn furniture (vaginal). In Scene Two, the dissatisfied Paul Thomas eats out his wife, Gloria Leonard, while in the other room, Tom Byron (her son), fucks it out with the "trashy" neighborhood girl, Taija Rae, on the sly (oral, vaginal ; pop on her tits). As this all goes on, Gloria's and Paul's devilish daughter, Raven, goes back and forth between the doorways of the two rooms, peaking in and keeping a look out. In Scene three, Taija finds herself hiding out in Raven's room after her tryst with Tom, and the two begin a journey of side-by-side masturbatory exploration. Scene Four has Taija's creepy, greaser brother, Frank Serrone, sneaking into Raven's room for a quickie romp while her parents slumber down the hall (oral, vaginal ; pop on her ass). In Scene Five, Gloria blows and fucks R. Bolla (Taija's and Frank's father) on the same piece of patio furniture from the first sequence, all as Taija and Raven...then Paul...watch in. Scene Six finds Raven consoling her distraught father as he tries to drink and bathe his troubles away. Of course, the consolation involves her mouth and his penis in an inevitable pairing that builds from the beginning of the film (oral ; pop in her mouth -- fake?). In Scene Seven, Raven and Paul go at it again, all as their mother laments to her psychiatrist about the entire situation (oral, vaginal ; pop on his own belly). To be continued.
