Great Sexpectations (VCA) review summaries:
fu_q's
A top-notch porn director (Eric Edwards) isn't looking for love--particularly with his snooty, female lead (Kelly Nichols)--when he's approached by a new producer to film his latest fuck-flick...but that's exactly what he finds in "Great Sexpectations". A very good, 1984 release from VCA and director Henri Pachard, this feature really has it all...from hot sex with often-exceptional setups to a plot and acting that are more than strong enough to carry the viewer's attention throughout. Candida Royalle's Three Daughters review summaries:
MD James'
Title: Candida Royalles Three Daughters Released by: Adam & Eve I had heard about Candida Royalles "Femme" productions several years ago, but never had the opportunity to review one of her movies until now. When Candida moved from acting in front of the camera to working behind it in the mid-80s, she decided to make movies "for women", although now shes promoting these more "for couples". Now the big thing about this movie is that they took out much of the usual "hardcore" stuff, like the exterior cum shot and the overemphasized view of the genital insertion. This video could very easily be mistaken for a softcore movie, especially since it emphasizes more story than sex. Speaking of story, lets get to it. "Three Daughters" is a story about the Clayton family a happily married couple with three adult daughters, all of them home at the same time for spring break. We start off with Jennifer, the pianist who decides to get it on with her piano instructor (who actually looks younger than her). [read the full review]

Taboo American Style 2: The Story Continues (Fat Dog) review summaries:
fu_q's
The heartless, young sociopath, Raven, continues upon the diabolical path of familial destruction that she began in the first installment of this exceptional Henri Pachard mini-series, and this time around nothing and no one will remain standing in her wake. Such is the case in "Taboo American-Style 2", an excellent, 1985, incest-themed release from Fat Dog Productions. [read the full review]

Taboo American Style 4: The Exciting Conclusion (Fat Dog) review summaries:

Picking up where the third installment left off, the sexually sociopathic Raven, having now effectively sucked her family dry and left them in ruins, moves on to the men and women of Hollywood. There, she uses her coldhearted, do-anything approach and extraordinary good looks to quickly work (...and fuck...) her way to the top...leaving yet another trail of victims in her wake. Such is the case in "Taboo American Style 4", the final episode in the exceptional, 1985 mini-series from Henri Pachard and Fat Dog Productions. [read the full review]

Taboo American Style: The Ruthless Beginning (Fat Dog) review summaries:
fu_q's
All isn't right in suburbia, as the children of a well-off family headed by Paul Thomas and Gloria Leonard intermingle with the offspring of one of their poorer workers, R. Bolla. Indeed, the various inter-family relationships start out fairly typically, though still seedy and sexual in nature, but quickly spin and tangle into a wicked web of deceit and perversion as more and more secrets are uncovered. At the center of it all is the diabolical, black-tressed instigator, Raven, Gloria's and Paul's clearly disturbed 18-year-old daughter. Such is the case in "Taboo American-Style 1", an exceptional, 1985, incest-themed release from Henri Pachard and Fat Dog Productions. [read the full review]

Running Time: 63 min. Production Date: 1984 Director: Candida Royalle Cast: Carol Cross, Chelsea Blake, Marita Ekberg, Taija Rae, Anthony Casino, George Payne, Joe Elliot, and Joey Silvera Initial Expectations: Ive had mixed results from Femmes line. Im not really sure what to expect here. Initial Reaction: It almost put me to sleep. Who Should Watch It : Anybody looking for porn thats a step up from softcore Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting pop shots or porn that takes any kind of risks Audio /Video Quality: For the age of the feature, the technical aspects are pretty good. The audio is a bit hollow, but its well balanced and free of background noises. The video has a bit of grain and more than a few shadows, and looks fairly close to VHS quality. Although I normally have higher expectations than this for DVD movies, with the movie approaching twenty years old Im pretty happy with the presentation here. Music: The music has a soft and often fun feeling that seems pretty neutral. [read the full review]
