Review:
When the ladies are looking for a good time or to simply escape the mundane, there's only one place to go, and that's down to John Leslie's local, country-themed watering hole, where the sex flows as freely as the liquor and the pussy party's always on. Such is the case in "Urban Cowgirls", a very good, 1980 release from Caballero and director Tsanusdi. Featuring the likes of Veronica Hart, Lee Caroll, and Georgina Spelvin, it's no wonder that this fine flick won a host of AFAA awards at the time. Indeed, Hart plays Spelvin's hot-to-trot sister, who's busy sating just about every carnal desire that she can conjure up, whilst Spelvin herself is stuck in a rut in her humdrum marriage, trying desperately to get her man, Aaron Stuart, to notice her. Caroll is Hart's best buddy / lesbian lover who has her own thing going with her boss, Joey Silvera, and their affair is torrid, as well. Thrown in on top of all of this are the trials and tribulations of the young blonde waitress at the club, Hillary Summers, whose feelings for Leslie go largely unnoticed throughout the release. Of course, everyone's fates and fantasies ultimately align at (or via) the horny honky-tonk, and the raunchy ride along the way makes it all worth the while. As such, fans of Golden Age classics, features, and/or any of the ladies will definitely want to check this one out. It's a solid watch, and it's a shame that it's been largely forgotten with the passage of time.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds Blair Harris escorting the lovely Misty Regan and Sonya Summers, dressed as a Native American, to the back of his pickup truck for a brief double-BJ to completion in the bar's parking lot (oral--both, girl-girl ; facial). In Scene Two, the blonde legend, Veronica Hart, picks up the club's car attendant, Eric Edwards, and brings him back to her place for a romantic, fireside fucking (oral, vaginal, anal ; gooey pop on her bush). Scene Three brings together Georgina Spelvin and her hubby, Aaron Stuart, for an abortive attempt at morning sex before a call from her onscreen sister, Veronica, breaks them up. In Scene Four, a panty-less blonde secretary, Lee Caroll, blows and fucks her boss, Joey Silvera, as he's seated at his desk. Just as the sex really heats up, Silvera's wife walks in, and the two barely cover up their bodies...and their indiscretions. Scene Five has Lee Caroll and her fellow club buddy, Veronica Hart, eating one another out upon a sofa...when Hart breaks out a strap-on and goes to town on her. In Scene Six, Eric Edwards pops by Veronica's place after she and Lee have headed home from the bar for both a change of clothes and a sex break. He joins them mid-69 and bangs Veronica whilst Lee masturbates with a vibrator (cum-shot on Hart's bush). Scene Seven is a continuation of the last, with Hart having left the picture, returned to the club, and directed Joey Silvera to her apartment to join up with Lee and Eric, who have moved on to the shower (oral, vaginal ; Joey ejaculates on her backside). In Scene Eight (intercut with the last), Georgina Spelvin's guy, Aaron Stuart, finally comes around and takes his wife orally and vaginally upon their marital bed (load in her hands and on her tummy out of missionary). Scene Nine brings together the club's owner, John Leslie, and the naive, blonde waitress, Hillary Summers, who's been crushing on him since day one, back at her place. After a bit of an argument, she invites him inside, and the two go at it in a candle-lit romp upon her bed (vaginal). Who doesn't love a happy ending?
