Director Alex De Renzy's 1977 film, BABYFACE, tells the story, and details the wild adventures, of a gentle giant named "Dan"(Dan Roberts), and how he ended up being the new hot commodity at a high end all male brothel, owned and operated by a woman called "The Champ"(Kathryn White). Via flashback, we lean just how Dan arrived at that point. [read the full review]

Babyface is one of the best films that Alex de Renzy made with a good plot, some great sex scenes, and the weirdness that de Renzy tends to have in his older films. Vinegar Syndrome has done an amazing job with their Blu-ray/DVD combination pack release of Babyface with a stunning image, beautiful sound, and even some extras. This is a release that is definitely worth picking up. [read the full review]

Finding herself strangely (and a bit drunkenly) unsettled by her father's (John Leslie's) marriage to a younger woman in Virginia City, Desiree Cousteau (as "Peaches") races off down a canyon in her jeep, only to veer off of the road and crash...leaving her with a bad case of amnesia and a lost identity. Of course, it's just her luck that two low-life characters find her, steal her transportation, and exploit her for their own ugly purposes...setting off a cascade of difficult events for the young Desi that only seem to go from bad to worse. Such is the case in "Pretty Peaches", an exceptional, 1978 release from director Alex DeRenzy which has been remastered exceptionally well by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

The fine folks at Vinegar Syndrome have cleaned up and re-released Alex DeRenzy's PRETTY PEACHES (1978) with the original 91 minute 35mm film intact and looking better than ever in all its wide screen glory. Bouncy and bubbly Desiree Cousteau plays Peaches, who takes a knock on the head then wanders about not knowing who she is, which is a recipe for horn dogs and other assorted sleaze bags to take advantage of her. No condoms but plenty of wacky dialog accompanying the sexual shenanigans in this xxx comedy concoction. [read the full review]

Emboldened by a female colleague's wanton activities, a newly-minted, cosmetic industry Vice President, the stunning legend, Lesllie Bovee, embarks upon a quest of sexual exploration and gratification around her home base of San Francisco. Given her rising station in life, she's in need of a trustworthy bodyguard to keep her safe, which she finds in the down-on-his-luck smooth-talker and former Navy boxer, John Leslie, who pretends to be gay to get the job. Of course, John's charade, coupled with both of their prurient proclivities, results in a powder keg that's simply bound to explode...in all manner of fucking. Such is the case in "Champagne for Breakfast", a very good, 1980 release from Chris Warfield and re-mastered by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

review from 6/12/2016:
The 70s brought us some great new takes on classic fairy tales turning them into erotic romps but Serena: An Erotic Fairy Tale was not one of these. Instead, this film went the route of being a quickly churned out film to capitalize on the name of the main star Serena. The plot is essentially non-existent, the sex scenes are tepid, and the entire film comes across as lazy. Impulse Pictures has done a decent job with their release. [read the full review]

Getting Off is a rather standard loop carrier by Ed DePriest, and Pretty Peaches is an enjoyable feature by Alex de Renzy, and Summer in Heat is an enjoyable film from Christy McCabe. Whether the Desiree Cousteau Triple Feature is right for you depends on what film(s) you are interested in from the three film collection. All three films appear to be sourced from 3/4 video masters. Getting Off has decent video quality but problematic audio quality, Pretty Peaches has poor video and audio quality, and Summer in Heat has decent video and audio quality. [read the full review]

One of the greatest porn flicks ever, Alex de Renzy's BABY FACE (1977, TVX Home Video-2006) tells the story of a big lug named Dan (Dan Roberts) who is on the lam from not only the cops but also a pissed-off Mom named Molly (Mary Eaton) who catches Dan fucking her sex-crazed daughter Priscilla (lovely Lyn Malone) early in the flick. review from 5/14/2006:
As with the TVX release of (Anna) Obsessed, the film "For The Love Of Pleasure" and the TVX release of said film are very different, so different in places that when watching the uncut version it almost feels like a new movie. That said, the following is a review of the original uncut version off of a 1986 Essex Home Video tape. Anyone even marginally familiar with hardcore films of the 1970s has undoubtedly heard of Annette Haven and Jamie Gillis and as familiar as I am with their work, their roles in this 1979 film has always seemed a bit odd, even by 70s hardcore standards. The plot: **HEREIN MAY LAY SPOILERS** Jamie Gillis is Simon, a down on his luck, petty thief who makes the mistake of breaking into the home of a woman who, upon seeing him, forces him to have sex with her then shoots him to death when her husband comes home. It should be noted that Jamie keeps his gym shoes on throughout the entire sex scene... Gillis ends up in the afterlife where he is greeted by Annette Haven (God?) who provides him with an endless supply of women, food, and finery. [read the full review]

Of course, it's just her "luck" that she finds herself in the hands of a talent agent with a pervy formula for success along the way. What ensues is a tawdry tale of tail, as Dorothy puts out for--and is pimped out to--client upon big-shot client. Whether sucking cock will ultimately lead her to the top...or, instead, to utter despair...remains to be seen. Such is the case in "Formal Faucett", an overall-good, 1978 release from VCX and director F.J. Lincoln. [read the full review]

It's always a good time on a Saturday night down at LC's country bar, where the shows bring together the bro's and the ho's, where the dick-lickers meet up with the shit-kickers, and where the stunning and witty Clit Westwood (Lonnie Sanders) and her stuffed-toy gorilla make the rounds. Such is the case in "Every Which Way She Can", a very good, 1981 release from Louis Lewis and Caballero. [read the full review]

review from 5/7/2016:
The Little Girls Blue series is a fun enjoyable adult film series that features the girls from an all girls boarding school and their antics at the school and at a summer camp. Fans of plotted barely legal adult films should find both films to be enjoyable. As far as this box set goes, VCX took their two individual disc releases and put them into a box for this set with nothing else included. The transfer for Little Girls Blue is acceptable but the transfer for Little Girls Blue Part 2 is in bad shape. Sadly, as of now this is the best way to get the two films. Hopefully at some point another company will put out a better release of both of them. [read the full review]

Little Girls Blue is an incredibly fun classic adult film. The sex scenes are very well done and while there isn't much to the story, the film doesn't ever fail to entertain. The film is lighthearted and the cast does a great job with their roles. VCX hasn't done the most amazing job with this release but has done a better job than they usually do. [read the full review]

review from 9/4/2016:
It's all about the redneck rompin' and the backwoods boffin' as two fornicating families of horny hillbillies rekindle an old, chicken-stealing feud when the son-in-law of one clan is caught rolling in the hay with the hot-pants daughter of the other. Making matters worse is the impact that it all has upon the budding romance of the film's star-crossed lovers, "Bobby" (from one family) and the lovely Virginia Winters (from the other). Of course, plenty of sexual high-jinks ensue as the fiasco unfolds, with--in true country kinkin' style--everyone ending up throwing the ho down with everyone else. Such is the case in "The Liberation of Honeydoll Jones", a surprisingly good, 1977 release from director Carlos DeSantos and VCX. [read the full review]

All bets are off when three young women, each with her own life issues, hopes, and dreams, finish their first year of college and decide that it's time to take life by the balls and experience whatever's out there. Of course, "experience" means excessive drinking, some drug use, partying, and plenty of hot, steamy sex...both straight and lesbian...all to the benefit of the viewer at home. Although Sweet Young Foxes is a good film, I have trouble recommending this disc due to the poor video quality of the transfer. The film will be liked by those who like a plot with their sex, couples, fans of the classics and those who like to sit down and watch a whole adult film. The film will not be liked by those who hate a plot with their porn and fans of nasty sex. If you are interested in purchasing the film, I recommend a rental first. [read the full review]

Although it is unfortunate that both films have been cut and the picture quality in the first one is questionable, these are still two very well done films. If you are a fan of the classics, of either of these films, of school girl or summer camp themed movies you probably want to pick this disc up since this is probably the best treatment these films are going to get on DVD and since the packaging states that they are limited editions. Otherwise, I would avoid this title. [read the full review]

Still up to his dirty-talking, deep-dicking tricks, John Leslie, and his slow buddy, now played by Blair Harris, find themselves up to no good again, as the two are both put in charge of a friend's bar whilst she's away and also wind up on an anti-sex "doctor"'s, Bridgette Monet's, failing television show. Of course, Leslie's mouthing off from the audience of the show makes him an overnight sensation...as well as its possible salvation. Armed with a telescope and an overactive libido, Tommy Byron finds himself becoming more and more detached from reality as he peeps in on his super-hot (and super-freaky!) neighbors, Joanna Storm and Laurie Smith. Of course, as he continues his descent into despondence, his aunt (Honey Wilder) begins to take note. Her solution? To hire a private psychologist, the lovely Kay Parker, to treat young Tom while she''s away for a weekend. Needless to say, this brings about its own unique set of sexy circumstances...and things heat up! So goes "Private Teacher", a very good, 1983 release from director Robert McCallum and Caballero. A feature from the early 80s. Kay Parker is a therapist brought in to coax withdrawn teen Tom Byron out of his shell. Mainly MF sex with one FF bathtub scene, one solo-female scene, and a brief j/o by Tom Byron. Your opinion will largely depend on whether you like Playboy or Hustler, as this is definitely the former. Sex is vanilla and not so explicit as modern stuff. Kay Parker is only in one sex scene. But overall it's fun and well done. [read the full review]

Starring: Annette Haven, Sharon Mitchell, Seka, Lisa Deleeuw, Bridgette Monet, Lee Carrol, Abigail Clayton, Veronica Hart, Serena Eric Edwards, Paul Thomas, Jamie Gillis, Hershel Savage First of all, let it be understood that I hold no porn prejudices. If people want to have sex for my entertainment, who am I not to watch them? That means, among other things, that I have absolutely nothing against "old school" porn. By the same token, however, I don't think "classic" movies are inherently better than what's made today. With that in mind, Blue Ribbon Blue presents itself as a greatest hits package of classic stars. Unfortunately, it's not. In fact, it was produced years ago before its performers were even considered legends, and its poor mastering reflect just how much of a thrown together effort it actually is. Had they known that it would be released in the 21st century, it's producers may have paid closer attention to what they included. [read the full review]

Why this is, I really can't say. The plot is flimsy at best, the sex is okay but undistinguished (aside from the multiple double penetrations [DP]), and Seka is just not star material in my book. But many people adore her. I admit she is very pretty but I cannot get past her cold demeanor and lack of acting ability. Still, it is one of the better-known films from its age and it does have its moments...and to her fans' delight (not mine) it has Seka. Whoopee! The film starts with George packing his suitcase and leaving his wedding band on the bed. [read the full review]
