Nasty Lady Review

VCX has re-released Bob Vosse's NASTY LADY (1984) through its line of Cal Vista classic DVDs, which debuted in 2008. The standard frame presentation looks crisp and clear, sound fine.

NASTY LADY tells the tale of two female friends, Katie, (Lynx Canon) who left "a hicktown" to move to San Francisco and J.J., (Tara Aire) a "country lady," who comes to visit her friend in the big city.

Katie fucks her beau (Herschel Savage) during the opening credits, then gets word of J.J.'s coming to visit, then fucks her beau some more in Room 825 in a short but terrific, low-lit scene with a nice blowjob, reverse cowgirl and handjob cumshot. Lynx Canon looks great with tiny titties and a terrific body plus wild streaky hair that fits her rock singer persona that surfaces later---!!! 1/2

J.J.'s arrival at the hotel where Katie works is an excuse for J. J. to encounter some of the hotel's colorful characters retreating to their rooms for some xxx fun. In Room 439, the house lecher (Paul Thomas) fucks a bubbly maid (Rita Ricardo) in a series of straight sex positions that ends with a doggie fuck position and a cumshot on the ass---!!! A couple of Asian hookers (Mai Lin and Jade)walk past J.J. out of the elevator as they take their john (Blair Harris) to their room for some straight sex sucky and fucky---!!!

At the center of NASTY LADY is a terrific 17 minute sequence where J.J meets a photographer (David Morris) at a sidewalk cafe shot in a studio but with a wondeful city backdrop. He offers to help her with her portfolio, which turns into exterior filming as the duo hit some of the San Francisco sights.

Returning to the photographer's apartment, he seduces her while photographing her in a blue sweater. He sucks her twat while she sits on a ladder then her sexy boobs finally appear with the blue sweater pulled above them. The duo settle into some straight sex positions on a nearby couch where Tara Aires looks terrific: beautiful pale skin, cute face, reddish brown hair, nice legs.

It's an excellent 8 minute sexual enounter that ends with a popshot on the tummy as Tara lies on her back with her head hanging upside down off the side of the couch. Sounds like her moans and panting added later to the sound mix detract a bit---!!! 1/2

The finale of NASTY LADY is another long sequence where our
"country lady" gets to be a bit more of a "nasty lady." J.J. arrives at a bar where the bar owner (Jamie Gillis) directs her to the stage where Katie in a sexy backless black dress sings a goofy "necking and petting" tune. Backstage, the bar owner allows J. J. to throw the levers that change the lighting while a duo (Erica Boyer and Dan T. Mann) screw around with candle wax then fuck on stage.

Soon, the bar owner, sneaks up, pulls up her white cotton dress, sucks J.J.'s ass while she pulls the light levers (a nice bit) then the duo settle into some straight sex fucking once J.J. discards her new dress.

Audience members watching the waxy action on stage soon engage in some sexual hijinx of their own so that NASTY LADY's sex-filled finale becomes a wonderful trio of scenes-the bar owner and J.J. backstage, the sex performers on stage, the audience members in front of the stage-intercut into one. It's a fun sequence, well lit, well staged, maybe more audience action would have been an perfect way to wrap up the scene---!!!!

J.J. takes the hotel manager aside, spews her "she's just a country girl" bit again, says she's not quite ready for the big city and departs. The hotel manager delivers a message about her departure to Katie fucking upstairs again in Room 825. JJ sits facing the other direction as as the Amtrak departs.

NASTY LADY is a terrific feature from 1984. J.J.'s sexual adventures in the big city are wondefully realized plus Katie's fuck scenes are perfect bookends to J.J.'s big city odyssey. Vosse and the other production folks do a great job on all fronts including a good sound mix with music that remains understated.

The main problem with NASTY LADY is that the sex scenes connected to J.J.'s time in the hotel only serve as big city sexcapades that really do nothing to further J.J.'s story. For example, she runs into these folks in the elevator then wanders off after her luggage; she talks with Katie while stuff happens in Room 429. Therefore, these sex scenes, though fun, merely pad the length of NASTY LADY.

NASTY LADY (1984, re-released by VCX, 2008) receives a final !!!! outa !!!!! for the wonderful performance by Tara Aire plus terrific support from Lynx Canon and a "country girl in the big city" theme that mostly works well with solid direction from Bob Vosse especially in that final xxx sequence that juggles three different sex scenes at once.

When NASTY LADY sticks to J.J.'s character, it rises way above your standard xxx feature. Maybe a bit more development of J.J.'s character, maybe more explanation as to why she departed in place of those few sex scenes in the hotel might have made this one of the great adult films.
