Sinfully Yours is the best of the movies on the release with both Evil Angel and Savage Fury feeling like they were rushed productions. Overall, this is a rather disappointing collection of Christy Canyon movies. Judging a porn film by its box cover or its title is rarely a good idea, but we all do it, of course. So...when I saw Michael Cates' "The Modeling Studio" from Collector's Video (1984) as a choice on AdultEmpire.com's Unlimited service, I was initially less than enthused about it. Indeed, its box cover is subpar and unexciting, and its title is as banal as banal can be. That, however, is pretty much where any of the complaints stop. To be sure, this film's cast, which relies heavily upon the erotic talents of a young Ginger Lynn (Oh my!) and the uber-sexual Erica Boyer (RIP)--with assists from the likes of Heather Wayne and Roxanne Rollan along the way--is impeccable, as is its heat...which builds from the beginning and never looks back. Somewhat reminiscent of the mainstream group of moderate success and of the same era, Vixen, this is certainly unique, if nothing else. (This single was later available on the "Porn to Rock" CD of the 1990's and can still be heard on YouTube.) Even the delightful Janey Robbins, one of the unsung heroines of early porn, is largely wasted. The plot has stewardess Juliet Anderson wanting to be the first female pilot on her airline, with sister Tara Aire trying to help her along. There are alot of shots inside airliner shells, and outside of windows during flights, and pirate shots at airports, but we've seen it all before in better films from that era. This film features an extended mud wrestling scene, so if you can remember the mud wrestling fad of the 1980s, you can date this film. Night Trips 2 is an excellent film for viewers that like arty and tame sex. Although there is a minute plot, the imagery is the reason to watch this film. Despite the very poor transfer and the authoring problems, the film is not unwatchable and fans of Andrew Blake's work will still want to pick this disc up. The audio was fine. Extras: Um.. The Movie: Paula Price thinks she has a problem just because she can't stop thinking about sex and masturbates constantly.. Welcome to the club Paula, but right away I can see what the problem is. This woman needs to get off! And the way she half-heartedly walks around touching herself and rubbing up against doorknobs isn't the way to do it. But it looks artistic and sexy. That's what Andrew Blake is all about, and no one does better. How nice it is not to have to fast forward through all the double and triple penetrations, or fight a wave of nausea as someone proudly displays an asshole resembling the Grand Canyon. Although not the best movie of the era, Nothing To Hide may well be the quintessential Golden Age Classic. If youve ever wanted to know what separates the Golden Age movies from contemporary classics then look no further. The movie revolves around the relationship between Jack (John Leslie) and his slow witted/ retarded buddy, Lenny (Richard Pacheco). Jack is a smooth talking ladies man who effortlessly moves from one conquest to the next. Lenny, on the other hand, has no luck with the ladies - despite Jacks constant promises to set him up. However, when Lenny falls for a similarly awkward girl Jack has to face the prospect of life without his buddy. If your exposure to porn is limited to contemporary product either feature or gonzo this is going to be quite a change of pace. Even the narrative driven couples porn of today is a fair distance from movies such as this. For a start the sex scenes are far shorter than would be acceptable today (which, from a story telling perspective at least, is no bad thing). [read the full review]

The Top 25 Adult Stars of All Time Directed by Various Running time (approx): 240mins I think there is a very good reason why many hold the classic era of porn (70s, 80s) in such high regard. For me when I first saw films like this, they were normally passed to me on very low quality VHS, sometimes with no sound, or a picture so bad it was almost unwatchable. Porn back then was the holy grail. It was next to impossible to widely obtain (at least here in the UK) and just seeing real sex was amazing. Now it is different. Hardcore for one, is legal in the UK. Porn is now on DVD and the picture quality is never an issue (at least by no means the issue it was) and also, such beautiful women are ready and willing to shed their inhibitions for your viewing enjoyment. It is a different world now, and for me I have come to the realisation that yes, porn in the past was special because it was so forbidden and unobtainable but porn now is in a different league.
