A blonde named Marci (Pattie Petite) models a red dress for two women at a boutique. In the dressing room, she has visions of doggy fucking a guy (Rick Savage)---!! thanks to some sort of special power that the v-neck red dress possesses. She borrows the red dress for the evening and throws it on when her accountant makes an unexpected house call. The dress stirs firey passion in Marci as she sucks and fucks the too-confused but well-hung accountant (Nick Random)---!! in the opening scenes of Jack Remy's THE MAGIC TOUCH (1985, Metro, VCX-Calvista classic re-release, 2008)

The writer of THE MAGIC TOUCH, Valerie Kelly, strings together a series of xxx enounters as the dress exchanges hands and unleashes passion in every woman who wears it. It's a very femme-friendly flick as the females initiate the action with unsuspecting male partners.

At the boutique, Jenny (Shanna Mc Cullough) tries on the dress then seduces the delivery guy (Tom Byron) who says "nice dress." The duo engage in a series of straight sex positions that end with a pop shot to Shanna'a face---!! 1/2

An insistent Nell (Kari foxx) buys the dress for her sister Lucille (Erica Boyer) who insists she will never wear the dress and vows to return the garment. Nell tries it on and grabs a guy (Kevin James) and a gal (Bunny Blake) for a threesome on a nearby bed---!! 1/2

A cute maid (Rachel Ryan) tries on the dress and humps a fellow worker(Steve Drake) in another room. Rachel gives a terrific blowjob which leads to solid straight sex fucking---!!!

Lucille returns the dress and Jenny gladly accepts the return. She convinces Lucille to try the dress on, which leads to a girl/girl scene between a tanned Erica Boyer and a pale shana Mc Cullough---!!

The dress's origninal owner (Gina Carrera) comes home to a nicely set table for lunch, which is where she fucks her hubby (Rick Savage, again) in a solid, brief sex scene---!!! Hubby tells her she should get that red dress back, so THE MAGIC TOUCH concludes with the red dress returned to its original owner, thus bringing the story full circle.

THE MAGIC TOUCH (1985, Metro; VCX re-release 2008) has a solid little story that should be re-made without the goofy video wipes and dissolves to red, without the bad 80s hair, without the crappy elevator music, which drew complaints from my girlfriend getting ready for work in the other room. Also, cover girl Erica Boyer only appears in one sex scene and that's a girl/girl one. Other scens with other performers are better.

Final rating for THE MAGIC TOUCH is !! outa !!!!! as a solid little story for a xxx feature gets lost in bad mid-80s production values. Extras include trailers and bonus scenes from other titles in VCX's Cal Vista Classic series, box art and a 4 minute Legendary Tribute to other classic xxx stars with the VCX logo too proudly displayed in the lower left hand corner of the frame.
