Taboo 2, while not as good as Kirdy Stevens' original Taboo, is an enjoyable feature adult film. The cast does an amazing job with their sex scenes and do a great job with the non-sexual scenes. Taboo 3, on the other hand, is a massive let down with a poor story that does little to connect with the first two films and seems like just an attempt to cash in on the Taboo name. Most viewers likely won't have any interest seeing the film more than once. Taboo 2 makes this release worth picking up. Vinegar Syndrome has done a great job with this release. It is only for those select films that I consider to be at the very pinnacle of the industry. This is an honor reserved only for films that I believe will stand the test of time. Zazel - The Details Studio - Metro Director - Philip Mond Female Cast - Sasha Vinni, Anna Romero, Brooke Lane, Gina LaMarca, Grace Harlow, Helena, Lene Hefner, Nikie St. Gilles Male Cast - Devin, Kevin James, Drew Reese, Antionio Valentino, Jon, Running Time - 2 hours 5min (approx) Overall Impression It was a very difficult for me to decide if this movie deserved five stars. The film has some serious faults, but many remarkable scenes. It does have some pacing problems in that there are a few scenes (as beautiful and erotic as they may be) are a too much style over substance. D.O.P. 10/26/95 Female cast: Sasha Vinni, Lene Hefner, Anna Romeo, Gina LaMarca, Nikki St.Gilles, Brooke Lane Male cast: Antonio Valentino, Kevin James, Drew Reese, Devin, Jon Audio/Video: The video was excellent, with vibrant colors and no graininess that I noticed. Most of the music in it is quite nice and well matched, with the exception of a hideous vocal that was playing during the first male/female scene. Gawd, that was awful, and seemed totally out of place. There's no talking other than Sasha's occasional narration and less than resonant voiceovers. [read the full review]
