Review:
When a beautiful, young celebrity (Sasha Vinni) is asked to concoct a fragrance capturing the very essence of eroticism, she finds herself delving deeper and deeper into her own fantasies. There, she finds a complex web of sexuality that bubbles up from her subconscious and that is as sensual as it can be intense, and as captivating as it is kinky. Such is the case in "Zazel: The Scent of Love", an exceptional, 1997 release from Cal Vista and director Philip Mond. Even twenty years after the fact, the gorgeous and seductive spectacle that is this film still holds up remarkably well in a modern context. Featured are beautiful environments, stunning visuals, extraordinary camerawork, on-point costuming and body makeup, and, of course, one of the finest collection of high-end beauties that its decade, or any other, for that matter, had to offer. Indeed, included are three Penthouse Pets of the Year, Sasha Vinni (1994), Gina LaMarca (1995), and Niki St. Gilles (1999), and the remainder of the supporting cast is nothing to sneeze at, either. Much to the contrary, in fact, Lene Hefner was a Raiderette before her time in porn, and Anna Romeo, who's an adult film one-hit-wonder, turns out supremely sexual performances from start to finish. It's honestly hard to imagine that this film wouldn't appeal to just about everyone, though there are always those who will beg to differ, so I'll leave it at this: Fans of stunningly gorgeous women engaged in hot, often creative sex, all beautifully framed and captured, will want to seek this one out. People who don't like those things won't. For me, it's a no-brainer. Be sure to check it out. Hands down and dicks up, it's a winner!

In terms of the sex, Scene One brings together the unmatchable, exotic beauty, Sasha Vinni, painted in blue as the Hindu goddess, Shiva, and stalking her gold-clad, masturbating prey, Grace Harlow, from the water. It takes awhile for the two to connect--though the interceding material is still gyratingly sexy--but when they do, Sasha gets in some sensual licks.

In Scene Two, Sasha shaves down the blonde, former NFL cheerleader, Lene Hefner, and then both eats her out and diddles her, before Devin Wolf appears on the scene and "tattoos" a flower upon her pussy and pelvis. Ultimately, Hefner returns the oral favors on Vinni, and Wolf pounds her (Hefner) out, ejaculating in her mouth as she sucks and jerks him off.

Scene Three finds Anna Romeo, with a tiger face painted on her lower back and backside, sliding up and down as she impales herself on Kevin James' cock and whilst, via cut sequences, a be-striped Sasha prowls around a grassy, flowery area.

In Scene Four, three glamorous pirates, Sasha, Anna, and the blonde Brooke Lane, strip down and strap glossy dildos to the heels of their boots. They then proceed to perform oral sex upon one another and use the "heel-do"s in just about every, conceivable, sexy manner. (This sequence is simply incredible. Stunning!)

Scene Five offers up Sasha, this time playing with herself for the camera while seated at/on a marble table and surrounded by flowers. This includes some up-close, "pink" shots and also the insertion of the stamen of one of the plants, along with the full bud of another.

In Scene Six, Sasha, Brooke, and Helena play the parts of glittery angels who get it on with Antonio Valentino in a largely softcore romp with (at least partial) body-doubling for the hardcore portions. These include vaginal and anal penetration along with a jerked off pop-shot on a pelvis. Sasha eats pussy here, as well. (This sequence isn't so great relative to the others, despite the corn-holing.)

Scene Seven finds the stunningly gorgeous Gina LaMarca decked out in what can best be described as a bone-like bikini, which she quickly strips out of for her guy, Jon Severini, in an erotic number upon a raised podium. Despite only having appeared in a tiny handful of films, LaMarca nonetheless has the moves of a seasoned pro, as she squats cock and licks dick with the best of them...and even appears to eat some ass. Scene Nine offers up Sasha to the Devil, Anna Romeo, whose lengthy tail is "attached" by having one end of it stuck up her butt. Though the fire that flashes before the screen throughout is somewhat cartoony, the special effects involving Sasha's head are impressive.

In Scene Ten, the Devil, still Anna Romeo, gets her due, when one of her statues comes to life and bangs her out orally, vaginally, and anally until he ejaculates all over her from an anal pile-driver position. Almost immediately thereafter, another statue joins in, and they tag-team her orally, vaginally, and anally. The guys dole out some double penetration (DP) action, as well, and the festivities finish off with a facial (including some friendly fire) and another pop on Romeo's back. (Another scorcher of a sequence. It's a shame that Anna Romeo only made this one film. She's awesome here...and so is just about everyone else.)
