Review:
A load of cash (...and a lot of loads...) are at stake, when chance brings a rich perv's girl, Gina Carrera, into the underground BJ competition circuit. A natural-born cock-sucker, Carrera quickly upsets the status quo and has the potential to upend the East Coast Champ's, Cyndee ("Silk Throat") Summers', comeback at the Las Vegas "Super Bowl of Suck-Offs". Needless to say, this doesn't sit well with certain people, and things heat up quickly...in all sorts of ways. So goes Stiff Competition, an exceptional 1984 release from director Paul G. Vatelli and Caballero.
Featuring a fun and clever premise, along with a solid plot and decent acting, this fine flick of yesteryear still holds up well today. Not surprisingly, there's a strong emphasis on oral sex, as one would expect, but there's also plenty of steamy, full-on fucking to be found, as well. For instance, Cyndee Summers takes a sexy schtupping from her guy, John Leslie, in their bedroom early on in the film, while Gina ("The Tongue") Carrera shows that her skills go beyond her mouth, as she rides out her newfound manager, Kevin James, back at his apartment. Both hot! Of course, Bridgette Monet's down-South pooper-pound-out with David Cannon in their Texas living room is not to be missed, either...and so on!
As all of this unfolds, Carrera's training includes what's tantamount to an early version of a blow-bang, along with a lot of other dick...which she handles like the champ that she quickly becomes. Overall, the action--raunchy from start to finish--doesn't come without its fair share of chicanery along the way, as well, and the competition itself is well-played, coming off as entertaining and energetic and conveying the enormity and popularity of the event. No doubt, a lot of effort went into the details of this production, and it pays off.
In all, fans of the corny premises of Porno Past are certainly going to want to check this one out, as are those looking for something a little bit unique in their lusty libraries. Indeed, this release is simultaneously amusing, engaging, clever, and packed with hot sex and a stellar cast...making it easily worth the watch.
