The Movie:
Paula Price thinks she has a problem just because she can't stop thinking about sex and masturbates constantly.. Welcome to the club Paula, but right away I can see what the problem is. This woman needs to get off! And the way she half-heartedly walks around touching herself and rubbing up against doorknobs isn't the way to do it.
But it looks artistic and sexy. That's what Andrew Blake is all about, and no one does better. How nice it is not to have to fast forward through all the double and triple penetrations, or fight a wave of nausea as someone proudly displays an asshole resembling the Grand Canyon. Porn should not make you wanna hurl, but that's just my personal measuring stick.
So, I can certainly appreciate Andrew Blake's erotic vision. Now, if he could just combine that with hot sex, the guy would be dangerous.
First off, he'd have to lose the porn music during the sex. That's a biggie. I don't care how hot the sex is, if you can't hear it, it has a distancing and cooling effect.
Second off, a lot of the sex wouldn't be that much better even in Dolby Stereo. The women are great looking, but I didn't see one that had any real sexual heat to her, in my opinion. And judging by Paula Price's inability to even deliver the line "Fuck me" convincingly, maybe we're not missing much.
Parts of it were arousing, but I watched it with more of a "That looks erotic" detachment. Of course, men might have a whole different take, and perhaps if I had Mr. Blake's tongue fetish it would have been better, but merely sticking out your tongue is not enough to convince me that you're turned on, either.
The plot isn't important, but here it is in a nutshell -
Paula checks into some kind of Betty Ford Clinic for Nymphos run by Randy Spears, who places electrodes on her pussy to monitor her dreams.
*A word about "Fuck me"
Probably the two most commonly used words in porn, besides "Oh God", with "Suck it" and "Yeah baby" running a distant third and fourth.
"Fuck me" Porn 101. Simple phrase, universally understood.
"Fuck me" It still sounds nasty, and holds up well. I love it.
"Fuck me" We all like to say it, even while we're getting fucked.
"Fuck ME" A variation, sometimes used in orgy scenes.
"FUCK me" Another variation, clears up any confusion.
"FUCK ME!!!". Alright, a little goes a long way.
Paula looks good in both of her expressions here, but I had doubts about the wanton sexual needs of someone who can't even say "Fuck me" like she means it. Perhaps she didn't take the time to rehearse her lines, or wasn't given a copy of the script ahead of time. It's understandably laughable when porn stars are given full sentences of dialogue to deliver by some directors, but Andrew Blake doesn't ask a lot from you. Your main job is to look good, and you don't even have to BE a good fuck. Is it asking too much NOT to sound as if you're reading it off of cue cards, even if you are?
Rehearse for 5 minutes, in front of a mirror.
You don't have to be Robert DeNiro, with his "You talkin to me?"
Just say "Fuck me"
