Ginger On The Rocks Review

Review:
A beautiful, young woman born into money, Ginger Lynn, can have any man (...and anything...) that she wants, yet what she really wants and needs is true love. Of course, her quest to find it, and to find herself, leads her through a variety of sexual escapades as she transitions from a life of superficiality to one of depth...despite her snooty parents' best efforts. Such is the case in "Ginger on the Rocks", a very good, 1985 release from Vivid and the directing duo of Bruce Seven and Michael Cates. Even though this particular version has been extensively cut (...and for no good, apparent reason...), with scenes removed, material removed, etc., it's still extraordinarily hot in the sex department, as it features both Ginger and Amber Lynn in absolute top form...both physically and sexually. They are something else, especially Ginger. The plot is also decent enough--though not without its gaps and predictable moments--with its classic 80's uptown-girl-meets-downtown-guy theme, and it sets up the sex relatively well, too. Production-wise, this copy has some sound issues at the beginning, though that's probably just this specific tape and isn't necessarily indicative of a broader issue. So...for fans of Ms. Lynn (either of them, actually) and/or steamy 1980's porn, this one's worth a look...even in its reduced form.

In terms of the sex, Scene One is supposed to take place at a party (plot-wise), though the material appears to be cut in from different sources, with rapid flashes between Heather Wayne, Ginger Lynn, and Amber Lynn getting it on with Herschel Savage, Steve Drake, and Marc Wallice. This one is tough to follow, but there's oral, vaginal, and pop-shots are shown, and the ladies look awesome, particularly sporting 80's makeup / face paint. In Scene Two, the gorgeous Amber Lynn gives Herschel Savage a voracious ride on the sofa, apparently still at the party's location the next morning. Herschel gives it to her in a handful of steamy positions before popping on her tummy and chest, with the aid of Amber's hand. Scene Three features the lovely brunette maid at Ginger's home, Nicole West, rubbing one out as she pulls her black, see-through panties aside. She's simply stunning in her French maid's "outfit" (lingerie) on the leopard-patterned sofa. As she finishes up, Ginger's father, Paul Thomas, walks in...and he can't resist the urge to take her (vaginally), unloading on her pelvis and bush out of a hard missionary position. In Scene Four, Ginger Lynn, who's truly the looker in workout leg warmers and a headband, teases Peter North on the living room floor before letting him into her pussy. She sucks and jerks a load out of him in closing out this fine oral and vaginal fuck. Meanwhile, Scene Five (intercut with the last) brings together Tom Byron and Erica Boyer (RIP) on a blue waterbed for their own oral and vaginal boffing that culminates in a cum-shot on her back and backside (...the anal material has been cut here... BOO!). In Scene Six, Amber Lynn masturbates on a sofa for a bit before her buddy, Ginger Lynn, shows up for a visit. Of course, they do much more than talk, and it isn't long before the two legends are getting down to business themselves (fingers and tongues). Scene Seven finds Ginger's father and mother, Paul Thomas and Tamara Longley, in a raunchy romp after making plans to derail their daughter's love life (oral, vaginal ; load on her backside out of doggy). In Scene Eight (intercut with the last), Ginger Lynn works out some pent-up aggression by first exercising and then disrobing and diddling her skittle in her room. In so doing, she fantasizes about Tom Byron, her newfound love, and having sex with him (softcore). Ginger looks incredible here--again in her legwarmers and a headband--on her bed and in Byron's arms. Scene Nine pairs up Ginger Lynn and Tom Byron for "real" this time, in the backroom of a party that her parents are hosting. Again...Lynn is stellar...fucking like she looks...HOT (vaginal ; pop on her backside out of doggy). Good stuff all-around...despite the missing material. Nice!
