Running Time: 65 min. Production Date: pre - Nov. 1, 1990 Director: Paul Thomas Cast: Julianne James, Claire Tyler, Racquel Darrian, Alex Storm, Randy Spears, Eric Price, Tim Byron, Julian James, and Derek Harper Initial Expectations: I enjoyed Brat Force enough to give Nymphobrat a try. Its a Vivid release, so Im not expecting too much. Initial Reaction: Its not quite as good as Brat Force, but its very close. Audio /Video Quality: Both leave a lot to be desired. The audio is uneven at times and the dialogue is very hard to hear in several places. The video is extremely fuzzy throughout almost the entire movie. Im guessing that the original wasnt in too good of shape, but it doesnt look like any effort has been made to improve it. Music: Its normally overpowering and your typical late eighties porn music. False Advertising: Champagne is listed on the cover but doesnt appear anywhere in the movie. Review: Nymphobrat returns to the world of Julianne and Morty (Tom Byron). [read the full review]

I-Candy's DVD release of Insatiable was really well done, with obvious time and attention spent on it. A DVD well worth buying. Now I personally always prefered Insatiable II, so when I saw that I-Candy had released it on DVD I jumped at the chance to buy it. What a mistake. This DVD is almost the exact opposite of the Insatiable DVD release. The menus were obviously quickly thrown together, with a quality so poor that the DVD creators should be embarassed to have their names associated with it (e.g. menu selections indicated by an ugly big handrawn single color red X next to the item). There are no extras to speak of, there's no time code on the movie, and for some reason the movie plays horizontally squished to 50 of it's proper width (imagine the reverse of letterbox) on my Pioneer DVD player, on which I've played hundreds of DVDs and NEVER before seen this effect. And worst of all, the movie is missing LARGE segments from the original release for no percievable reason. [read the full review]

Marilyn Chambers Private Fantasies 4 review summaries:
fu_q's
"Marilyn Chambers Private Fantasies 4", the fourth installment in the Marilyn-driven, 1980's fantasy vignette series from I-Candy, offers up seven sequences starring the former Ivory Snow Girl, all nominally representative of her various fantasies and/or experiences. One of the true adult legends of yesteryear, Marilyn is in top form here...athletic, fit, and firm...and it's clear that she, as of the time of this filming, hasn't lost a sexual step from her earlier days in the industry. Despite clocking in at only about 80 minutes, all of the sequences are erotic, well-captured, and well set up...and every instant seems used to excellent effect. [read the full review]

Jade Pussycat, The review summaries:
fu_q's
John Holmes is at it again as his cooler-than-you, private investigator persona, "Johnny Wadd", in "The Jade Pussycat", a very good, 1977 release from Bob Chinn and I-Candy. This time around, Holmes has been employed by the sister of a low-rent thief, Jon Martin, to find him after he goes missing upon stealing a near-priceless artifact, the Pussycat. As it turns out, it's the criminal Linda Wong and her gang of Chinese thugs who are behind the kidnapping, and what ensues is an old-school, P.I. adventure reminiscent of mainstream stories of its era...but served up with a heaping helping of Holmes' mammoth meat and good ole-fashioned fucking. The Jade Pussycat is a great adult film to come out of the seventies and one of the best entries in the Johnny Wadd film series. The film has a great combination of sex and story that makes for a excellent finished product. I-Candy's release features a decent presentation of the film. [read the full review]

Blonde Fire review summaries:
fu_q's
It's all about the chicanery, the subterfuge, and the sex (...and not necessarily in that order...) when everyone's favorite porno action hero, John Holmes (as Johnny Wadd), is put to the task of purchasing and bringing home safely an extraordinarily rare and expensive South African diamond. Of course, no one is to be trusted in this endeavor and just about everyone is--and turns out to be--a potential threat. Such is the case in I-Candy's "Blonde Fire", a very good, 1979 release from director Bob Chinn that features Holmes in yet another, acting-heavy, protagonist-type role that finds him again as the suave, cool-under-pressure, up-to-the-challenge hero. Blonde Fire is the final film in the Johnny Wadd film series that Bob Chinn had any involvement with. Blone Fire isn't the greatest film in the series and I wish that the series had a stronger film to end with. That aside, the film is enjoyable and has a decent plot and some enjoyable sex scenes. I-Candy's transfer for the film is disappointing. [read the full review]

Dirty Western 2: Smokin' Guns review summaries:
fu_q's
All hope seems lost for four lovely "ladies" and their elderly, wealthy escort when their westbound stagecoach comes under attack by Indians and has to limp into a dusty, desert town...only to then find themselves taken captive by the bandits who populate the small berg. Fortunately for the women, these baddies end up having hearts of gold, and they all ultimately find themselves not only awash with cash, but also with plenty of love, lust, and dick. Such is the case in "Dirty Western 2: Smokin' Guns", the loosely-related sequel to director Adele Robbins' 1975 rape-and-pillage "classic", "Dirty Western". [read the full review]

Dirty Western 2 is the sequel to the classic 1975 film A Dirty Western and is done by the same writer/director, Joseph F. Robertson. Dirty Western 2 is a well-done film in all aspects except for the plot. The plot that is present is very thin but manages to hold the film together. However, what it is lacking in the plot is made up for with lavish sets and great costuming, except for a very out of place nipple ring. Metro has done a good job with their DVD release of Dirty Western 2. [read the full review]

Running Time: 68 min. Production Date: 1989 Director: Paul Thomas Cast: Julianne James, Barbara Dare, Hyapatia Lee, Raquel Darian, Tom Byron, Eric Price, Jeff James, Debi Diamond, Claire Tyler, and Tantalla Initial Expectations: I enjoyed Brat Force and am a comic geek. Combining a porno and super heroes sounded like a lot of fun. Its a Vivid release, so I dont expect too much. Initial Reaction: Its a lot of fun and my favorite of the Brat movies so far, but I wonder what happened to the rest of the cast. Audio /Video Quality: Both are pretty good for the age of the movie. The audio has a little dubbing and there are a couple spots that are kind of hard to hear, but its better than I expected. The video is slightly grainy and has a few cloudy spots. Its a little better than the other Brat movies and pretty respectable for the age of the movie when one considers what the original was probably like. Music: The music is a lot of fun and helps out the movie a lot. [read the full review]

Directed by Candida Royalle Production date 1 / 98 Starring Missy, Tony Tedeschi, Miss Sharon Mitchell, Herschel Savage, Mickey G, Chloe and Tom Byron One note beforehand : Raincoaters avert your eyes! As is to be expected, this new release (of an older video) from Royalle's Femme line of couples (and woman-) friendly products is the kind of gentle sex flick one might try to lure his girlfriend into porn viewing. Since there is a substantial plot to the movie, I digress from my usual synopsis/sex scene listing/conclusion review formula to describe the way the movie unfolds from start to finish. Review : After the (hokey-looking) Femme logo, we are treated to soft music and Missy examining a set of photographs she apparently took for a New York ad firm (yes folks, she's a renowned photographer allright) when Sharon Mitchell as her best friend enters the scene. You see, it's Miss Mitchell's house where Missy seems to find peace, even though she feels a "deep longing" for something she can't put her finger on. [read the full review]

Decadence is a silent film with a semi- creepy soundtrack mixed with water drops, sighs and moans. Story wise it's gorgeous Chelsea Blue masturbating while having dream like flashbacks of sexual encounters with other women and a single m/f couple. On the plus side all the women look beautiful. The photography and production is stylish. On the negative side I am a Dalia Grey fan and this is the first time she doesn't appear in an Andrew Blake production since she started working with him. The editing is a little too jumpy for my taste. I wish Blake would let the scenes of Chelsea Blue play out longer before cutting in and out of her. Also I wish he had done an audio commentary like the one he did back in 1994 on laserdisc for Les Femmes Erotiques (The Erotic women) which is very enjoyable and informative. Extras. There is a semihidden trailer, Still gallery and a 30 min. film called Private Property. It stars Celeste and Zdenka. [read the full review]

A guy is fucking Kaitlyn Ashley on a swing and Alex Sanders is licking Emily's nipples. Nick is lying on his back and watching Emily suck his dick while Bobby is fingering her ass. Bobby lay right next to Nick so that Emily could stroke and sucks two dicks at a time. Then Bobby placed his dick into Emilys ass while she is playing with Nicks cock on her tits. The scene was cut where Emily is lying on the bed, sucking Bobbys dick and Nicks cock is in her pussy. The scene cut again where Bobby has Emily in a reverse cowgirl position and sucking Nicks cock at the same time. Then Bobby and Nick have DP Emily real nice. [read the full review]

Running Time: 63 min. Production Date: pre - Nov. 1990 Director: Paul Thomas Cast: Julianne James, Aja, Nina De Ponca, Sasha Taylor, Tom Byron, Peter North, Joey Silvera, & Paul Thomas (in a non - sex role) Extras: Bios, previews, interactive sex, and AVN Awards footage on the movie side. The second side contains three scenes each of anal, threesomes, and outdoor sex. It also has 2 scenes each from Lene', Dyanna Lauren, and Gina Fine. Gina? Oh, Vivid must mean Jeanne Fine. The scenes aren't too bad. They're normal Vivid quality. It also has the Vivid Bonus Disc - read bonus disc review here. Audio Quality: Choice between dolby surround and Dolby 5.1. The sound is pretty good, but it's also pretty obviously dubbed in a lot of places. Video Quality: Very grainy, but 'Brat Force' was filmed in the late 1980s, so it's not bad for the age. Music: I'm not sure, but I think the music was done by Merv and the Mellowtones. I've heard better stuff on elevators. [read the full review]

Starring : Missy, Stephanie Swift, Halli Ashton, Temptress, Cheyenne Silver, Mr. Marcus, Lexington Steele, Mickey G, Brad Armstrong, Brick Majors, Randy Speras, Ian Daniels et al. Written, produced and directed by : Missy & Mickey G Story synopsis : 'Eros' is a very pretty movie (notice the difference between pretty and beautiful) that obviously is a labor of love for actress Missy and her then-husband Mickey G. They already co- directed the 1997 feature 'Heart & Soul' but this isn't really a sequel, but rather a similar flick that will please people who liked the first one. The athmosphere is somehow similar to the new-age romance novels that some poeple might read (though the sex isn't necessarily vanilla because of that). Missy is a woman who dreams of a new star in the sky when she's having sex with her lover (Brad Armstrong), and it turns out that this star really exists. She even has a telescope in her bedroom, dreaming away about the far reaches of space. [read the full review]

Review : Wicked Pictures releases quality DVDs every month, the latest being 'Hell on Heels', Brad Armstrong's all-girl feature starring Jenna Jameson and Nikki Tyler. Considering this, I wonder why they bothered with this unremarkable 1994 video starring the "most beautiful (but dull) woman in porn" Chasey Lain.. She stars (appropriately) as a supermodel, and a photo-shoot for an ad campaign is the first scene we are treated with in this movie. As she follows the directions of the photographer we get to see her nice legs, spellbinding eyes and big breasts. [read the full review]

"A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" I have to say, I think "Double Feature" is one of the few pornos that could actually have a chance in the mainstream. This movie works very well as a comedy, and yet still has some very well done, although not always all that daring, sex. Movie Content: Other reviews have gone through this movie scene by scene, so I'll just do a general overview. The first feature that we see is a Sci-Fi spoof, with three female aliens coming down, and turning the men of earth in to sex slaves. This is the better of the two featured stories when it comes to comedy, but the weaker of the two when it comes to sex. There are really no stand out sex scenes in this section, although the scene with Jewel D'nyle and Herschal Savage is fairly hot, and you can tell that both of them are in to it. The rest of the scenes are fairly vanilla. Although there are two group scenes in this part, both of them fall a little flat. The first group scene has two of the aliens take on two hicks (aliens always go for hicks). [read the full review]

All bets are off when a struggling actor who also happens to be a smooth-talking ladies' man, Jamie Gillis, signs on to be a part of a plot hatched by a wealthy, Hollywood mogul to cheat his relatives (a sister and four nieces) out of their inheritance from his dying (...and wealthier...) anti-sex crusader of a brother. Of course, this is a porno, so Jamie and his pals (John Leslie and Paul Thomas) are tasked with bedding all of the women in the family (with proof) to demonstrate their profound lack of morality and to get them kicked out of the will. The only thing that might get in the way of such an "easy", foolproof plan? Love. Such is the case in "The Ecstasy Girls", an exceptional, 1979 release from Caballero and director Robert McCallum. Here is a splendid little classic from 1979, produced by Harold Lime and directed by Robert McCallum. As is usual with "Golden Age" classics, the plot, acting, exterior shots and general production values are outstanding. This flick was shot on location in Los Angeles, Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and San Francisco. They dont make them like this anymore. Jamie Gillis plays a washed up B-movie star who is down on his luck. He has been reduced to escorting starlets to movie premieres, a service for which his agent pays him a few bucks plus expenses. He still makes the rounds of Hollywood parties, however, and at one such event, his host, J.C. Church, observes him seducing Desiree Cousteau. It is a hypnotic scene; Cousteau was a beautiful girl with wonderful, natural breasts. Georgina Spelvin secretly observes them, while being secretly observed herself by J.C. Church telephones Gillis that night with an interesting proposition. J.C. is the brother of Edgar Church, a rich industrialist from whom J.C. stands to inherit money. [read the full review]

Cast: Juli Ashton, Asia Carrera, Jill Kelly, Missy, Stephanie Swift, Michael J. Cox, Tom Byron, Alex Sanders, Mickey G., Vince Voyeur, Peter North, Shawn Rider, Bobby Vitale. Directed by Edwin Durell. Date of Production: 1996 (DVD released 2000). Running time: ~ 1 hour 35 minutes. I've been really partial to this little flick since I first saw it on VHS a few years ago; the cast features some of my favorites, the sex is generally very good, and while the story itself is isn't exceptional, the acting doesn't cause me to wince. It's just a simple, straightforward depiction of a common fantasy (sex between a group of long-time friends) with a good cast and some hot performances. The plot concerns a gathering between three couples for a Halloween party, and the individual desire to have group sex that all of them secretly share. There are a number of brief asides between the actual story where each character, dressed in their Halloween costume, talks into the camera. [read the full review]

Running Time : 101 minutes Review : Hoho, it's been a long time since Adam & Eve disappointed me (since I never had any high expectations for their relases, that's why :)) but I actually though this movie might just work. Nick Orleans should be an alright director (though I still haven't seen any good movies directed by him) and Jill Kelly's nice too. The answer is nope, the movie definitely does NOT work, and I was barely able to sit through it. I almost dozed off during the dialogue (terrible plot, and badly acted too) and this trend unfortunately continued during the sex scenes.. Obviously the stimuli from my TV screen were too feeble for my nerves to register anything. I don't even really want to describe the sex scenes in detail, again, I don't know a lot of the cast.. "A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" I've taken a bit of a break from porn for a while, and I thought, well, I might as well start things off with a good movie. Was I right to start with this one? The Movie: Raw works as a porn comedy. It's not as story heavy as Bliss and no where near as dark. Still, the script is tight and the acting is really strong. Joel Lawrence and Kylie Ireland are engaged. Kylie wants a wedding to top all weddings, but Joel, being a struggling actor, can't afford everything she wants. So, what does he do? He becomes a porn star, and a really famous one at that. Things hit the fan though when his star status goes to his head. The movie is pretty damn funny, and the acting from the leads is really strong. Joel Lawrence has always been a good feature guy, and he lets his comedic talents take over here. I've been impressed with him before, especially in movies like End Game and No No Briana, so I wasn't disappointed here. [read the full review]

I've been impressed with him before, especially in movies like End Game and No No Briana, so I wasn't disappointed here. [read the full review]

How could I not have high expectations for this DVD? Initial Reaction: Wow. This is one of the best adult films Ive seen. The script is great, the acting fantastic, and the sex nasty and amazing. Audio /Video Quality: Both are great. There were a couple small flaws, but the movie has Music: They music is a pretty good mix of styles and is balanced very well. I didnt notice a single spot where I thought it overpowered the action. Review: I guess you could call a satire of the porn industry. [read the full review]

The intrigue of Raw goes beyond watching attractive people have sex, beyond enjoying a well-written, funny film. Raw speaks about the varying facets of the porn industry, drawing a sharp contrast between the productions of an Antonio Passolini (the writer/director) and the fuck flicks of Pierre, the director portrayed in the movie. I don't want to sound like I'm writing a college thesis here, but Raw is a lot more than plot, dialog and sex. Raw speaks volumes about the porn industry and even includes actual locations (The Stage) and extras from within the industry (I recognized a couple faces from porn sets.) Joel Lawrence, this film actually stars a man, plays a phenomenal reluctant porn star who rises to the top, becomes an ass, and hits rock bottom. Kylie Ireland has a great performance as his innocent fiance turned sexual dynamo. And Hershel Savage is a perfect producer/agent. Great casting. Great acting. [read the full review]

If you haven't seen it, Taboo is a must see and if you are a fan of the classics, Taboo is one that you will want to add to your collection. Starring: Kay Parker, Dorothy LeMay, Juliet Anderson, Tawny Pearl, Lynn Shannon, Mike Ranger Directed By: Kirdy Stevens In my old college lit classes Oedipus Rex was my "go to" play. If we were called upon to write essays on irony, tragedy, flawed characters, or any of the other big dramatic topics for discussion, I always turned to that father killing, eye poking, incestuous king for source material. Of course, I didn't know shit about Medea or Troilus and Cressida, but I didn't have to; I had my regal Greek motherfuckers down. Kirdy Stevens' Taboo barely resembles the themes of Oedipus Rex, and we all agree that it's unfair to hold any pornographic work to the same standard of Sophocles' greatest play, and yet I'm gonna do it anyway. Taboo is the story of a boy and his mother. [read the full review]

Stars: Angela Tiger, Brigitte, Caroline, Kate More, Lisa Crawford, Monica Moore, Monika Sweetheart, Peggy Sue, Silvia Saint, Vivien Martines. Directed by: Antonio Adamo. The original Private Penthouse movie. It's success made it known even in the U.K. If i'd have seen this a few years ago, i might have been more impressed. The fact is, Private and Penthouse have bettered themselves a million times over since this film, but that does not make this a bad film. The film centers around a married journalist. His growing obsession around a Call Girl (Saint) that he is studying. Saint looks great as always, and is in a few scenes that probably make the film better. Crawford plays the journalist's wife who really has a great rack, (natural if i remember correctly!). I was quite interested in the film because of Kate More who, i might add, goes unnoticed as she looks a little toned down compared to what she looked like in Amanda's Diary and Fashion. What really surprised me are the deleted scenes. [read the full review]

Trouble, the 1989 Vidco release, stars Tori Welles, one of porns steamiest performers of all time. This is a decent flick, as directed by Fred J. Lincoln, but it includes most of the standard porn film clichés of that era. That is, marginal storyline, plenty of large breasted women (not a girl in the bunch), lots of from-behind camera angles (grrrr!), and quick cutaways after the money shot (another grrrr!). Tori wakes up one morning with amnesia, not remembering what she did the previous night, and not having the slightest idea of the identity of the dead guy laying next to her in bed. She splits and meets up with her attorney, Randy West. He tells her to go home, that hell take care of her mess. Next thing you know, Tori is in jail on murder charges. Randy the rat is in cahoots with Jacqueline, a busty brunette/redhead. Turns out its her husband lying in the morgue and theyve set up Tori as the fallgal to inherit his big bucks. Most of what I wrote about "The Ecstasy Girls" also applies to this film. This is a 1982 Harold Lime production, directed by Robert McCallum. With Veronica Hart and Annette Haven, there's more star power in this flick, but the final product is not quite as good as the wonderful "Ecstasy Girls." The plot is "Ecstasy Girls" in reverse. Here, Georgina Spelvin is the publisher of a soft-core porn mag called "Panther," featuring centerfolds of smart college girls. Some morality guardians form a committee called Morality over Madness (MOM), and try to put Panther out of business. Spelvin has to round up her centerfold graduates to go out and seduce the committee members, retain evidence of the hanky-panky, and ultimately blackmail the members into ceasing their assault on Panther magazine. The video is average and the audio echoes in spots, but is much better than other adult films of this age, such as the Original Debbie Does Dallas. Let My Puppets Come is a real oddity in the world of adult film being the first, and only, adult puppet musical movie. The film is an adult puppet show that lampoons the adult film industry, with well-made puppets, extensive musical numbers, and a good heaping of low-brow humor. Let My Puppets Come isn't going to be for everyone in fact, the viewers that will genuinely enjoy the film will be in the minority. For the right viewer, though, Let My Puppets Come is a fun film. Caballero has done a poor job with their DVD release of the film with a low-quality picture and even lower quality sound and a version that is missing 35 minutes of the film. [read the full review]

Running length: 60 min. D.O.P. I couldn't find one, but Al Goldstein is sportin' an afro, if that helps. Writer/Director: Gerard Damiano Female cast: Lynette Sheldon Penny Nichols Male cast Al Goldstein Audio/Video: For as old as it is, which I'm not sure of, it's not bad. There were parts with some piano music, which fit pretty well. Extras: Just a few photos. General comments: I was curious about this one because it featured puppets, and was the only one of its kind. I had heard some disturbing comments about it, but I can't imagine what it was that bothered people about this movie. I thought it was kinda cute. But then, I'm not 100 certain that I'm not some kinda pervert, because this is listed in the 'Fetish' category, too, so there could be something here that I'm missing. Sure, there was the part about about the dog fucking his mistress, but they're dang puppets, for christssakes! It was one of the funniest parts, too, with the dog as a real smooth talker who gets into her shorts. [read the full review]

Running Time: 90 min. Production Date: 01 / 1996 Director: Christophe Clark Cast: Laure Sainclair, Nikita, Vicca, Anita Dark, Anita Blond, Nadia Linden, Zolt Walton, Francesco Malcolm, Andrew Youngman, and Christophe Clark Initial Expectations: I was very impressed with The Loves of Laure and I dont have any reason to expect The Obsession of Laure to be any different. Initial Reaction: The DVD is a little short on extras, but the movie is very hot. Ive got to pick up more of the Marc Dorcel movies Wicked is releasing. Audio /Video Quality: The video is very clear and about what youd normally expect from Wicked. Theres a little bit of grain in the darker scenes and some soft focus problems. Neither interfere with the movie too much. The audio appears to be dubbed in all of the languages. Its very clear but poorly balanced. There are several language options which allow you to hear the movie in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish. [read the full review]

Shortly after reviewing MASQUERADE for Adult DVD Talk, I had the opportunity to take a gander at THE OBSESSION OF LAURE, a Wicked Pictures DVD from Marc Dorvel Video and starring gorgeous featured actress Laure Sinclair. Well, immediately after glancing at the cast listing of OBSESSION, I was almost convinced that this movie would top MASQUERADE, due to my overwheming partiality to Vicca (now a VCA contract girl) and Anita Blonde who performs in three of thirteen (!) scenes in this video. Well, after comparing my, umm..."reactions" to both films, I don't think that OBSESSION is overall as good as MASQUERADE, but then again, I saw MASQUERADE first so my expectations were already at an Olympian level. Still, THE OBSESSION OF LAURE was enough to convince me that the entire Laure Sinclair vehicles from Marc Dorcel were worth collecting, and Wicked's collection of European imports definitely give the Private line a run for their money. Running Time: 1:18 Cast: Nici Sterling, Jeanna Fine, Nina Cherry, Alexandra Silk, Sweetie Pie, Dick Nasty, Guy DeSilva, and Paul Cox Extras: Photo Gallery, a lot of previews and sneak peeks, and Web Site Video Quality: Very average. Nothing special, but nothing too disappointing here. Audio Quality: Slightly below average. There are several times when you can hear a lot of background noise. Initial Expectations: I really like Nici Sterling, and Independence Day has a lot of stuff that could be made fun of in a porno, so I had fairly high expectations. Initial Response: Slightly disappointed. The Plot: Aliens come to Earth claiming to want only one thing: Nici Sterling's ass. After she 'takes one for the team', they attack us anyway. We soon find out that they are only interested in two things: blowing everything up and lots of anal sex. A handful of humans try to stop them and rescue heir human prisoners at Area 69. The Sex: The sex is pretty average. Nici Sterling's scene is by far the worst scene in the movie. [read the full review]

Directed by Stuart Canterbury, SIRENS really cannot be described as a classic by any means, despite its VCA Classics description. With the (unfortunate) exceptions of Ron Jeremy and former gay actor Eric Price, none of the starlets in this shot-on- video feature are active in the porn industry today. And for porno newbies currently raised on a diet of SODOMANIA and GANGBANG GIRL videos, there may be very little reason to watch, let alone purchase, this rather straightforward, simple early 1990s release. However, for the old-timers like myself who recall when porn attempted to incorporate a story in their movies, and when gynecological close-ups of dilated sphincters were less than common- place, a viewing of SIRENS is almost refreshingly quaint. It also helps a great deal that this video features one of VCA's best former contract stars, namely the hard-bodied and devlishly sexy Selena Steele. [read the full review]

Army Brat, part of the Brat series from Vivid, is a fun amusing movie from the 80's. What makes this movie so fun is that the cast, themselves, seems to be having a good time which compensates for the silly plot. The plot is enough to keep the film going, but not enough that you have to worry about getting dragged down by it. The acting is incredibly cheesy but fun to watch. Vivid has done a decent job with their DVD release of Army Brat. [read the full review]

"A Gay Man's take on Straight Porn" I really had liked Paul Thomas's "Heart Breaker" and thought this one sounded interesting. Was it what I expected? Well... The Movie: Normally I would go through the sex scenes, and the plot, but the thing is, the sex is pretty constant, and the plot really is the important part here. So, I'm going to treat this more as a maintstream review. The basic premise of this movie is that Inari Vachs and Bobby Vitale are couple. They start the movie as very wild and drugged out, having sex in front of Bobby's porn models, and fucking other people in front of each other. Things are pretty hot and nasty between the two. That is until Thanksgiving. Kobi is having it at her house, and we are introduced to one more important character, Doug (I forget the performer's name). Things are going well, although Bobby seems to really want to trip Kobi up in her search for a sober life. Well, he fails, and Bobby, Inari, and Dougy end up leaving. [read the full review]

Starring: Alexandra Silk, Asia Carrera, Mia Ciccero, Ericka Lockett, Peter North, Alex Sanders, Michael J. Cox, John Decker Directed By: Thomas Paine Porn translations of mainstream movies are almost always parodies. Why? Because it's downright silly to think you can rip off a good movie, turn it into porn, and still take yourself seriously. That's exactly the case of The Last Tango, however, which is "inspired" by The Last Tango in Paris, the classic Bernardo Bertolucci movie where Marlon Brando famously (and sadly) seduces Maria Schneider into a sexual affair. Ah, but porn is about sex, and not plot, right? So, why does it matter? It matters because it's a wasted effort and if you're a mainstream movie buff, then you end up feeling like a Led Zeppelin fan when Puff Daddy covered Kashmir. If you count yourself among Alexandra Silk's fans, you not only would have good reason to do so (she has great energy), but you'd also be hard pressed to find a DVD that displays her as much as this one. Title: Cheating Released by: Vivid Wave If you were to ask an adult film director to come up with a movie called "Cheating", he or she would probably line up a few VERY fresh faces (as in 18-21) and come up with a movie about a couple of college girls who screw to get the answers to their finals. After all, thats what people think cheating is all about nowadays. Thats what the subject of all of these mainstream movies are about. They all have to do with school and tests. Fortunately this particular movie was done in 1994. Back then, cheating had nothing to do with school or exams, and EVERYTHING to do with extramarital affairs. And the key players in this movie certainly didnt look like they just came out of high school! The key question to ask about this movie isnt whos fooling around. The real question is who ISNT fooling around on their significant other and with WHOM. No doubt by the end of the movie the answer will surprise you. The movie focuses around a group of friends preparing for a surprise birthday party. [read the full review]

Who can resist Stacy Valentine? Blonde, dangerously curvy, fresh-faced and cute as hell, this babe is a wet dream (and well-fed) Barbie doll come to life, which is not unusual in porn, but Stacy definitely has a charm which will work on even the most ardent brunette fans (such as myself). Although when it comes to fair-haired girls, women like Ginger Lynn, Juli Ashton and Shayla LaVeux float my boat moreso than the common bleached blonde sex dolls, but Ms. Valentine is simply irresistable to me. She gives blowjobs with a rhythmic, sensuous passion and looks just plain sexy while getting fucked. Well, as it turns out, she is really the only redeeming feature in Adam & Eve's THRUST, yet another strictly plain vanilla, straightforward porn movie shot several years ago, which is only average at best. The plot (more like a theme, actually) involves sex within a military setting, so you get lines like "Drop your bombs all over my face..." which will have you rolling your eyes instead of indulging in other physical activities. Former Penthouse Pet Racquel looks incredible as always. I enjoyed watching her getting turned on as she watched Derrick Lane fuck dyke-queen Alex Jordan. A dog to be sure, but a pro in the sack. Jordon was one of the best pussy eaters in the business, so you know any scene with her and some nice, young piece of ass will conclude with Alex burying her face in the girl's muffin. No exception here. After Derrick bangs her, Alex goes over to Racquel and starts eating her rad pussy. I wish these two would have fucked for the whole movie. Jordan is a pleasure to watch at work, and if you like to see pretty girls getting it on with skanky porn queens, then this is for you! As much fun as it is to watch Racquel get it on with the Nikki Tyler's, Janine's and Asia Carrera's of porn, its also a blast to see her dyke-it-out with chicks like Jordan, Tianna, Tyffany Million, Bionca and Tiffany Minx. review from 7/24/2004:
Former Penthouse Pet Racquel looks incredible as always. I enjoyed watching her getting turned on as she watched Derrick Lane fuck dyke-queen Alex Jordan. A dog to be sure, but a pro in the sack. Jordon was one of the best pussy eaters in the business, so you know any scene with her and some nice, young piece of ass will conclude with Alex burying her face in the girl's muffin. No exception here. After Derrick bangs her, Alex goes over to Racquel and starts eating her rad pussy. I wish these two would have fucked for the whole movie. Silent Strangers is a pretty good film, with one very notable scene. To me, putting together a seasoned veteran of girl/girl action together with a young scorching hottie is a real treat. The late Alex Jordon was an amazing pussy eater who, despite not being very attractive, was paired with some unbelievably hot chicks to make for some of the most energetic lesbian porn of the 90's. Jordon sort of had a rough look to her, like a biker chick with a lot of miles on her, but she seemed really sweet too. During her career, she got it on with everyone from Nikki Dial, Janine Linemulder and Racquel Darrian among many, many others. Lots of young cuties learned the lesbian ropes from Jordon, who was not unlike Nina Hartley, Jenna Fine, Tianna and Debbi Diamomd, in that they were never considered totally hot, but they could light up a girl/girl scene like you would not believe. Jordon really knew how to get a scene going. [read the full review]

Theres a lot of talent in the cast and Gregory Dark can be very original. Initial Reaction: Its very original and very hot. Audio /Video Quality: The audio is very clear and very well balanced throughout the movie. The video varies somewhat. A lot of the movie has a very slight grain and there are some spots with a little soft focus blur. A lot of it appears to be intentional, as there are some tricks played with the video in the movie. Music: The music is very unique and dark. It fits the mystery and the darkness beautifully. Synopsis This 1983 Henri Pachard classic is a wholesome romp. Raincoaters can pass it by unless they are just in the mood for a little fun. The quirky humor, goofy music, and nostalgic feel of Sexcapades may please people who enjoy the feel of Pink Panther movies. The plot involves a director attempting to make a porn film. Scene 1 Joanna Storm and Alan Adrian perform a fumbling audition for two bored porn producers. Her earnest but misdirected enthusiasm is a real hoot. At one point she stops the sex to put socks under her knees to prevent rug-burn. Peter Meter = zero Scene 2 Sharon Mitchell plays a sexually clueless wife in a fluffy, unsexy nightie. Her alternately prudish and giggling responses to husband Eric Edwards will leave you feeling smug. She throws in a few moans for his inexpert cunnilingus. Peter Meter = zero Scene 3 Cartoonish music accompanies this goofy sex scene between Ashley Wells and Michael Bruce. [read the full review]

"A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" Watching this was pure bliss (sorry for the pun) The Movie: This has to be one of the best adult movies I've seen in a while. This is not just a porno. You cannot watch this and fast forward through the dialogue. You would miss SO much! The characters and the plot are extremely well written, and very involving. You have three couples: Carla and Justin, Gwen and Eddie, and Max and Nikita. Carla can't stop cheating on Justin, and Justin can sense that something is wrong. Gwen can't stand Eddie because he lies to her, but he won't agree to a divorce. Max is an asshole, plain and simple, and Nikita wants to find a way to get back at him. Okay, this sounds like a basic porno... it's not. This movie is very dark, and very depressing. No one gets a real happy ending, and the sex, in most cases, is not meant to be romantic. Actually, with the exception of the third scene, all the scenes are rooted more in pain (not physical, but emotional) than in romance. [read the full review]

Initial Reaction: Wow. Bliss has one of the best scripts Ive seen in an adult film, an amazingly talented cast working with it, and great sex. If that isnt enough, VCA has given it a great transfer and a lot of extras. Audio /Video Quality: Both are great. Theres very little pixelation and the sound balances out very well. Music: Theres almost no music to Bliss and it works great. The few moments with music have it so far in the background that its barely noticeable. A simple call from a shady and manipulative ex-lover, Jamie Gillis, for a pair of hookers to service a high-end client goes horribly wrong for a madam with a heart of gold, Veronica Hart, when one of the two ladies meets her untimely demise in a swimming pool whilst on the job. Quickly, and despite trying to get out of the skin trade, Veronica finds herself buried deeper and deeper in a high stakes game of drugs, sex, and murder that can end in only one of two ways for the unsuspecting young woman...and only one of them is good. Such is the case in "Amanda By Night", a phenomenal, 1981 release from Caballero and director Robert McCallum. [read the full review]

A true genre masterpiece which features masterful performances from Veronica Hart, Richard Bolla, and especially Lisa DeLeeuw and Samantha Fox. A superior film in every respect which deserves a lot more than it has gotten on DVD. For that reason, pay more and get an old VHS. [read the full review]

Here is a Harold Lime/Robert McCallum classic from 1982 that is still famous over 20 years later. It won six adult film critic awards, including best picture. Because it was filmed near the end of the "golden age," there aren't quite as many exterior shots as there would have been in movies a few years older. The plot involves a madam named Amanda (Veronica Hart) who, as a favor to her former pimp and lover (Jamie Gillis), sets up an S & M session for a local politician. The girls that she sends for this session (Lisa de Leeuw and Samantha Fox) are later found dead. R. Bolla plays the straight-arrow homicide detective trying to solve the case, without much help from Amanda. To make matters worse, there's a corrupt vice squad cop (Ron Jeremy) who is constantly getting in the way. By today's standards, this is couples' fare, with relatively short sex scenes, and loads of plot. It's so good-hearted, it could almost be on the Family Channel. Veronica Hart gets to over-act and ham it up ridiculously. It's a good movie, but a poor DVD. [read the full review]

Brad Armstrong, who also directed Wicked pictures' "Conquest" and "Flashpoint," directed this picture in association with Vivid and Adam and Eve. As a result, the production values are higher and the transfer to DVD better than in most Vivid discs. There's always a gimmick in a Brad Armstrong Feature; think of the rigged sailing ship in "Conquest" or the fire engines in "Flashpoint." In this picture, it is the exotic animals: elephants and camels. The disc also features stunning costumes and very nice interior locations. Technically, the disc is very good. The audio and video were outstanding, just about as good as in "Flashpoint," and far better than most vivid product. Ralph Parfait did the cinematography, and it is excellent. Every one of the sex scenes was a winner. Dyanna Lauren is a very, very lovely woman. If anyone cares, the disc features an extremely accomplished cast of studs, including Vince Voyeur, Jon Dough, Steve Drake, Peter North, and T.T. Boy. Veronica Hart does an excellent job in a non-sex role and as narrator. [read the full review]

This movie is very basic. No grandiose plot or expensive sets. But it has a very succinct story that I think works very well. The DVD version which this review is for is a shortened version of the VHS version. I think the VHS version has a major lesbian scene. The little bit I've seen of it looked great. But I'm not crazy about lesbian or anal all that much. And this DVD has neither except for a DP with Tatiana that was hot. The main thing I'm looking for in adult movies is good old fashioned heterosexual sex. And although I'm not exactly sure why, I found the sex in this movie very hot. Just about every single scene was a big turn on. If a movie has more than one scene that I will continually come back to, then I give it a high sex rating. In this one, just about every one was a keeper. There is an orgy that is dynamite and a scene with John Doe and two ladies that is smokin'. I've found that it's a DVD that I keep coming back to. Well this was a recommended title I was put onto recently as I was looking for a good Zara White facial. This movie is a typical Andrew Blake style movie except there is more b/g sex than I have seen in the other films of his I have seen but I have only seen a handful so there that is but I quite enjoyed this one. It features the lovely Ashlyn Gere in a great role for her. She is riding around in a limo playing with herself in between the sex scenes. Rather than bore you with plot details which I don't really care about let's get to the sex. I will hit the points I really enjoyed in this film and there were many. It starts off with Zara being a voyeur while I believe it was 5 girls get in on with a guy in a room in another building. [read the full review]
