Extras: Bios, previews, interactive sex, and AVN Awards footage on the movie side. The second side contains three scenes each of anal, threesomes, and outdoor sex. It also has 2 scenes each from Lene', Dyanna Lauren, and Gina Fine. Gina? Oh, Vivid must mean Jeanne Fine. The scenes aren't too bad. They're normal Vivid quality. Audio Quality: Choice between dolby surround and Dolby 5.1. The sound is pretty good, but it's also pretty obviously dubbed in a lot of places.
Video Quality: Very grainy, but 'Brat Force' was filmed in the late 1980s, so it's not bad for the age.
Music: I'm not sure, but I think the music was done by Merv and the Mellowtones. I've heard better stuff on elevators. At least it doesn't overpower everything else.
Initial Expectations: A fun adult action or spy movie. It's a Vivid release, so my expectations are fairly low, especially with a running time of 63 minutes.
Initial Reaction: Is this the right cover for the movie? It wasn't too bad, but it seemed like something was missing and it was nothing like the box.
Review: The cover to 'Brat Force' says 'She'll make this world a safer place... after her manicure, of course.' and 'She was judge, jury, and executioner. And boy could she shop.' and finally 'She'd bring in a felon by day, and be in his cell by night.'. With comments like that on the cover, I expected a sort of porno spy or action movie. Instead, 'Brat Force' revolves around Tom Byron trying to become the lawyer for Joey Silvera's company, and more so, his wife (Julianne James) trying to get the business through Joey's wife (Aja) and her friends.
Tom's wife (Julianne James) is unwilling at first, until she starts talking with Aja and the other wives. First, Julianne takes them to the male mudwrestlers, which we never get to see. Maybe it wasn't in the original cut, but it sure seemed like something was missing. At least we get to watch Julianne and Tom when she gets home. Julianne then goes to Aja's house, and more specifically hot tub, to try to get her to make Joey hire Tom as his lawyer.
The third scene is the only scene without either Julianne or Aja. It's kind of a three some and one of the worst scenes in the movie. Peter North shows Aja, Nina De Ponca, & Sasha Taylor some of his art work. Julianne shows up looking to go shopping and the others give her a hard time about her and Aja's hot tub meeting. She runs off followed by Aja who explains to her that they share everything, including their husbands, with each other. Meanwhile, Peter has sex with one of the remaining wives while the other masturbates while looking at his artwork.
Later, Aja shows up at Tom's office and tries seducing him, telling him that she and Julianne agreed to swap husbands and then he'd get Joey's business. Somehow, Tom fights her off but agrees that something might happen at the barbecue at Joey and Aja's house later. At the barbecue, Joey shows Julianne around the house, until she finds the bedroom. At the same time, Tom helps Aja with the barbecuing, and they cook pretty good outside. Everybody finishes at the same time, and Joey looks out the window to find Tom walking away with an extremely friendly Aja. Apparently, Joey didn't really know about the girls plans, and all business between them is off.
As much as I was ticked off at Vivid for what I felt was a very misleading cover, I have to admit to enjoying 'Brat Force'. I hadn't seen either Julianne James or Aja before, and they're both very good. Hopefully I can find some of their other pornos out there, I just hope they aren't all by Vivid. The audio and video are not that good, but they're about what I'd expect from a porno of it's age.
Raincoat Factor: Fairly high
Overall: Although the box is misleading, 'Brat Force' isn't too bad. I really wish I knew if I got to see all of it or if Vivid threw some of it out for an extra or two. The picture is grainy and the sound is okay, although dubbed. Pick it up if you can find it cheap and are a fan of Aja or Julianne James.
