Initial Expectations: This is a follow-up to Missy and Mickey G.’s Heart & Soul, which was pretty good. I’m hoping for more of the same here.

Initial Reaction: It’s very well done and very artistic, but the heat comes and goes during the scenes.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is fairly well balanced, but on the soft side. There are very few non-sex portions to the feature, but when there are, the balance is much better. The video has a soft feel to it, almost as if the feature was shot on film and handled very well. Im’ not sure if this was a desired appearance or not, but it works very well for the artistic nature of the feature. There’s quite a few shadows, but they normally add to the feel of the scenes rather than detracting from them.

Music: The music changes depending on the scene, but has kind of a New Age feel to much it (although don’t ask me which of the five rhythms it is) with a good beat, although there’s also some soft romantic music. It normally dominates the rest of the audio, but you can often make out the sounds coming from the main action fairly easily.

Menus: The main menu gives the movie an artistic feel right from the start. It continues into the chapter menu, which allows you to choose a scene based on a small clip of the scene and a scene title.

The Feature: Missy starts has some naughty thoughts. Brad Armstrong is busy gobbling her gash, but her mind’s elsewhere, thinking of having sex with many different people in many different places. As Brad Armstrong munches away, Missy’s mind wanders through a variety of sexual situations. She finds out that she’s not alone in her thoughts, and journeys to a research lab with Brad in tow to help Stephanie Swift, another test subject, with the research.

Lexington Steele and Mr. Marcus get the pleasure of Missy first, in an African setting by a waterfall with Stephanie Swift watching while hiding. Missy immediately sees Stephanie watching as she sucks cock, and gestures for her to come help her. Stephanie warms up Marcus’s cock, and takes her time as Lex gets into fucking Missy. In a very odd porn occurrence, Stephanie and Marcus spend quite a bit of time hugging before getting down to the main action, but have some great chemistry as they do. After a bit, the guys trade girls, and Lex gives Stephanie’s pussy a good tonguing while Marcus fucks Missy’s ass. The guys finally finish it off with two very nice facials, especially Lex’s, which is more than enough to share between the ladies. This scene starts Eros off on a very high note. There’s great chemistry between the two couples here, and although the girls don’t ever get involved with each other, the scene holds its own just fine without it. It lets you know that there’s a very artistic feel to the overall movie, but Missy and Mickey G. show that they can give you some great art (thanks in part to the great art direction of Rod Hopkins) while keeping the fucking nice and hot at the same time.

The action returns to Brad Armstrong pleasuring Missy next. He finishes his tonguing and get on with fucking Missy missionary style. They move on to a little doggie action before Brad deposits his dick droppings on her fantastically fine funbags. It’s an warm scene that has a fairly good romantic feeling, but I had a hard time getting into this one. There seems to be very good chemistry between Missy and Brad, but the heat between them didn’t develop as much as normal, or even as much as in the opening segments with Brad muff munching.

Halli Aston and Cheyenne Silver share Randy Spears, Michael J. Cox, and Brick Majors around a fire in a tent. This scene has a very Middle Eastern feel to it, with the tent feeling much like it could be one of the ones Ali Baba passed on his way to encounter the forty thieves. Cheyenne starts out concentrating her oral skills on Randy, while Halli works herself between Brick and Michael. Michael finds his way into Cheyenne’s mouth as the others start fucking, and switches back and forth nicely with Randy as they make their way through the scene. Michael and Randy finally end things on Cheyenne’s nicely natural chest while Aston takes Brick’s ball butter on her butt. In a very odd twist for a ground scene, the only interaction between the groups is when Michael switches sides. Other than that, there’s absolutely no interaction between the two groups, as they’re on opposite sides of the fire. It makes for a different scene, and one that many people new to porn and not wanting anything too risque should like, but I thought it was a little on the slow side and that it lacked a bit of heat.

Ian Daniels spends some energy with Temptress next. She strokes his cock while he plays with her pussy as they kiss before Ian buries his head between Temptress’s thighs. She reciprocates with a very nice, slow and romantic blowjob that gradually picks up speed before Ian pounds her bald pussy. They switch to a little side saddle before Ian blows his baby batter on Temptress’s great and natural tits. It’s a very good scene that has great chemistry and some nice heat as well. It builds slowly and keeps a romantic feeling through most of the scene. For those who want to pay attention, they can even tell if Ian Daniels feet are normal or not since he isn’t wearing his normal athletic shoes.

Missy and Stephanie Swift finally get together and start the research. Missy works on Stephanie’s pussy as she lays back on a table. Missy takes her time working on Stephanie, and then takes her own turn on the table as Brad Armstrong works on her pussy with an acrylic dildo. As usual, it’s nicely artistic and has great chemistry, but this time it also has some great heat as well.

Eros is a very different adult feature. Almost all the scenes have great chemistry and are very artistic. As often happens when the scenes become more artistic, the heat suffers some, but many of the scenes here are still quite hot. There’s also a nice message about finding love here before moving on that’s there but not at all preachy. Eros is most definitely not for everybody, but unlike many adult films, when you know a little about it you should be able to tell if this is your bad or not. If this is your bag, you’re going to have a great time discovering Eros.

Overall: Currently, Eros can be found online for between $15 and $28 with a couple stores offering it for under $20. If artistic porn is to your tastes, the low end is going to be a steal for you. Eros has a definite style that will keep fans of artistic and romantic porn in ecstasy, while probably boring fans of more extreme porn to tears. The extras are pretty average for Wicked, although better than average for extras overall, and the transfer is also pretty nice.

Note to Wicked: A commentary with Missy and Mickey G., or for that matter even an interview would have been very nice here. It was obvious that Heart & Soul was very near and dear to both of them, so it would have been nice to hear some of what they had to say about Eros.
