First Lady, The (Les Nuits de La Presidente) Review

Laure Sainclair is again spotlighted in this Marc Dorcel video imported from the land of soft, smelly cheese and Jerry Lewis groupies and courtesy of Wicked Pictures. LES NUITS DE LA PRESIDENTE has been retitled THE FIRST LADY, which is a convenient if inaccurate translation for those who only took Spanish in high school. Even though this movie is less than two hours long, director Alain Payet manages to cram in a lot of tension and intrigue throughout eleven different and distinctive sexual situations. Yet, the movie never feels rushed, and the sex scenes are perfectly edited according to pace.

The premise of the film, which is as original as they come in porn, Ms. Sainclair plays the President during the day, and a literal woman of the night, who is being blackmailed by some mystery villain" looks like a cross between Truman Capote and the Nazi who gets his face melted at the end of RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. In order to protect her status, she is directed to engage in sexual encounters. While in uniform, she slinks around in black vinyl and red latex, completely indulging in her sexpot role, much to our delight. From the opening shots of Laure's sexy legs strutting in high heels down the streets of Paris, it is clear that we are going to see this starlet at her sexy best; and although it may seem like a backhanded compliment, she frankly looks terrific as a hooker. However, the viewer also gets to see her looking sleek and sophisticated dressed up in Ann Taylor-ish business suits. So whether you want your starlet to look smolderingly sexy or erotically elegant, rest assured Laure lets you have it both ways.

The contrasts in Laure's looks will make any of her fans put this at the top of their list as a "must buy," especially since she appears in eight of the movie's eleven scenes. My favorite segments with Laure include the film's opener, where in her call girl role, she gives an awesome blowjob to some John (or is that "Jean?") before bending over for some doggy-style sodomizing. Later, while dressed up in a short, Ally McBeal- ish business skirt, Ms. Sainclair again shows off her oral and anal sex skills while in the bathroom of a restaurant. Her lucky anonymous partner is forced to spill his load in a condom, which Laure politely removes from his spent cock. At first, I thought she was going to empty the gooey contents directly in her mouth, which Debi Diamond had done so amazingly in THE GANGBANG GIRL; but alas, Laure simply isn't that nasty (which may be a good thing). Towards the end of the feature, Laure and sexy brunette Kathy Kash engage in some bump and grind pussy slammiong with liberald doses of deep tongue kissing. They are then joined by two Eurostuds for a pretty hot foursome that serves as the highlight of this video. Kathy gets DP'ed, but it is Laure who catches their orgasmic fluids all over her chest.

A standout performance in this video comes from gorgeous brunette Eva Falk, an absolutely dynamic performer who made first made an impression on me in Andrew Blake's PARIS CHIC. She performs in a single straight scene which shows off her fabulous, all natural body as well as her white hot sexual enthusiasm. Since siliconed filled blondes seem to be what the most of the great unwashed porn masses demand in their videos, Eva is a breath of fresh air who is worth any number of Jill Kellys or Houstons.

But of course, it is Laure who makes THE FIRST LADY simply first rate porn. And while she is also blonde, blue-eyed and gorgeous, she has a distinctively sexy look reminescent of the kind of class and beauty of Zara Whites, another European actress who catapulted to blue movie stardom in HOUSE OF DREAMS and BUTTMAN'S ULTIMATE WORKOUT. Although this is Laure's eighth starring role in a Marc Dorcel production, and --- not coincidentally --- my eighth DVD with her in it, I have yet to get tired of watching her at work.

The only reservations I have about this movie is that condoms are widely used in almost every scene, which is an admittedly safer change of pace from Laure's previous videos. Also, while I enjoy seeing Laure getting it on in almost any shape or form (unless it involves, say, Ron Jeremy or Ed Powers), I would have like to have seen fewer straight girl-guy scenes, and more girl-girl action. As with other Marc Dorcel videos, the overdubbed English (and other language) translations can be a little disconcerting at times; in my viewing experience, the original French soundtrack is preferable because at least the voices are in synch with the lips (sometimes).

This is one of those DVDs in which any nitpicking on the sexual content would be almost groundless. THE FIRST LADY happens to be great porn and a far better production than 95% of the pornos flooding the DVD market. Once again, this Laure Sainclair film is highly recommended.
