Last Tango (Ultimate) Review

Driving and crying. Sucking and fucking and masturbating. That's what happens to Isabella (quirky and leggy Alexandra Silk) over a day or so in Thomas Paine's LAST TANGO (1998, Adam & Eve) as our heroine encounters a mysterious man (John Decker) while house hunting. 80 minutes. Standard frame. No condoms and no extras!

So, Isabella arrives at an empty home where the mystery man is not interested in her repeated declarations about buying the house. He jumps her bones and Isabella quickly succumbs. (Cue a solid encounter between Alexandra Silk and John Decker with the best moments being wider shots that feature those long lovely Silk legs in various suck and fuck positions. Doggy leads to a load on the tush for the finale on the carpeted floor.)

Isabella leaves her mystery guy after he proclaims that there's nothing to life but what they have right there (a la Brando in Bertolucci's LAST TANGO IN PARIS but that's about as far as this flick resembles that film) so she hops in her BMWer for some driving and crying to her house.

Hubby (Michael J Cox) is in the kitchen and she jumps his bones for a terrific encounter. (Cue pussy sucking and then Cox upright on the sink plunging his prick into Silk's mouth, terrific side fucking diagonally across the corner counter top and upright anal action for the finale)

Isabella showers afterwards (Cue a brief fantasy? encounter with a naked Decker entering for brief wet moments that seem out of place here)

Hubby and Isabella have dinner together then after a fade to black Isabella finds herslef back at that same house soon on that same living room floor. With her mystery bud no where to be found, she masturbates on the floor with moments of her fingering her her ass as she bemoans the absence of her man of mystery. More driving and crying leads to the mid-point of the vid.

The disappointing second half of LAST TANGO finds Isabella arriving home from more driving and crying. Hubby is cooking dinner for 2 other couples (Ericha, Alex Sanders, Mia Ciccero and Peter North) but Isabella gropes one of the guys and says "that's what tonight's all about" and the fun begins. (Cue a mess of encounters on couches in the living room. Erratic lighting, not-so-creative editing and sped up footage makes this a mess but Alexandra and her lovely legs are prominent plus she gets a shot and more than a taste of North's ample cum burst for the finale)

After bathing and crying out in the hot tub, Isabella leaves the party to meet the realtor over at the empty house. The duo share each other (Cue an overlong girl/girl encounter between Alexandra and Asia Carrera that utilizes ice cubes for the finish) then share the mystery man (Cue Decker, Alexandra and Asia for a way too brief encounter that finds Decker on his back for a blow job from Alexandra and a face-sit from Asia followed by a brief mishing of Asia with a cum shot landing on her pussy haired triangle) and that's it.

So, the second half of LAST TANGO may have its issues; however, the structure of the film with the lovely Alexandra Silk driving and crying from one sexual encounter to another really works. (This sort of simple story telling could be utilized for any of a number of these gonzo productions of today that feature just one female performer in all of the sex scenes.) As is, LAST TANGO is still a wonderful showcase for Alexandra Silk's talents and it is too bad that there's not an anal encounter between her and Decker lurking in the finale of this vid.

So, even with all its second half problems, LAST TANGO (1998, Adam & Eve) is a lovely starring vehicle for the leggy Alexandra Silk, who usually only lands a sex scene or two in other productions from that period. Let's give LAST TANGO a !!! 1/2 outta !!!!! for not finishing the dance.

Alexandra did not start in the business until she was 33 years old. Her looks, legs, enthusiasm and the ability to take a cock in her ass landed her many supporting roles.

Looks like Alexandra appears in a bunch of scenes in the MOBSTER'S WIFE from 2000. I haven't seen the film in more than 15 years and DVD editions may be edited so tread lightly...
