I find this a very uneven DVD, because there are a bunch of things I like about it and things I don't like. Typically DVDs tend to be more heavily one or the other. The good: * It's 4 hours long, which is bang for your buck. It's a compilations of lesbian scenes with (usually) two or (sometimes more) girls, so you get a lot of scenes. * The girls are better than I typically see. They're very pretty, they have nice bods, and there's quite a lot of variation, so if you like small tits, you got some, larger tits, you got some. Blondes, brunettes, some asians, a latino or two. No black chicks, unfortunately. * The lighting, sound and camera work is no-nonsense. You see what you ought to seeing, not looking out the window instead. No frustrated rock-video artists here. * No gross-outs. When I first saw the cover I wanted to watch it -- nothing like a good looking, non-typical cover to catch my attention. First a footnote to the ratings above. For "extras" rating, I actually thought that this was a reference to the "extras" in the cast, not the bonus scenes contained in the CD. This mistake should prove as good a foreword as any to introduce this remarkable, unique film: Might I suggest a change of pace for a future viewing? Candida Royalle, a very sexy lady who was an early porn performer, for the past 20 years has set her considerable talents to making realistically erotic pictures. I had never seen one until tonight when I watched her most recent, "Studhunters." Starring Ava Vincent, Alexandra Silk and Tara Indiana, this is one of the most intelligently crafted porn films I've ever seen. It's funny, perceptive, well-acted and quite hot. Description Soft-focus 'porn for women' comedy with condom use. The plot is a satire about making an adult movie, mostly auditioning the male talent. Initial Impressions I like the idea of porn that loses the misogyny and formulaic aspects of a lot of porn, and that has more focus on the chemistry between the players. And so I always want to like Candida Royalle's movies, but they are so slow and boring that it takes major courage for me to pop one in the dvd player. I was thinking that maybe my memories of how slow these things are has become exaggerated. Or maybe she has changed lately and picked up the pace? Nope, I guess not! General Comments The plot provides a few minutes of chuckles, but not many for an 82 minute film. Much of what is meant to be funny is only a ludicrous flop. [read the full review]

Im not really sure what to expect here. Initial Reaction: Its beautiful but often boring and a letdown. Who Should Watch It : Anybody whos afraid of porno and sex or anybody wanting to see new guys Who Should Avoid It: Anybody who thinks porno should be about hot and complete sex scenes or who wants things like pop shots Audio /Video Quality: The audio is normally fairly clear, but slightly off balance. The locations throw it off a little a couple times, but it also seems to fit the locations at those places. The video is a bit artistic. It has a soft feel and the lighting is often played with to help with the mood of the scenes. The video definitely helps with the artistic feeling of the feature, and makes things very beautiful.
