Initial Expectations: This has been a very good compilation series. I’m going into this one with some decent hope.

Who Should Avoid It: Anybody wanting to learn a little more about Mia with a few interviews between the scenes.

The Technical Stuff

Audio /Video Quality: As usual with compilations, the technical aspects vary a little. That said, since most of the scenes here are fairly recent there isn’t a lot of variety. The audio is normally nicely balanced and has barely any background noises. The video is much the same way. There’s also very little grain or lighting problems.

Music: The music also varies from scene to scene. The style varies a little, as does the balance, but neither ever interfere with the action.

Menus: The main menu is fairly generic, and blends a still of Mia with a little action from the movie. The chapter menu is even more generic, and lets you choose a scene based on a small clip of each scene and a chapter number.

The Feature

Mia starts things out on a couch with Chris Cannon in a black and red Oriental dress. She gives a little information about herself before introducing each scene and getting it on a little with Chris. After she’s done, she gets it on with Chris for a brand new scene.

Scene 1 - Mia Smiles, Dee, and Steven St. Croix

The third scene comes from Forbidden Lust. When this series started out there were very nice interviews between the scenes and something that really made each installment worth checking out if you were a fan of the girl being featured. Adam & Eve Signature Series 8: Mia Smiles is a very nicely done compilation, but it doesn’t have some of the spark of the previous installments of the series.

If you’re a fan of Mia Smiles, this one’s worth way more than the low end. There’s some great sex scenes here, as well as some nice effort put into the technical aspects and extras. This is a nicely done compilation DVD.
