Girl 2 Girl Review

I find this a very uneven DVD, because there are a bunch of things I like about it and things I don't like. Typically DVDs tend to be more heavily one or the other.

The good:

* It's 4 hours long, which is bang for your buck. It's a compilations of lesbian scenes with (usually) two or (sometimes more) girls, so you get a lot of scenes.

* The girls are better than I typically see. They're very pretty, they have nice bods, and there's quite a lot of variation, so if you like small tits, you got some, larger tits, you got some. Blondes, brunettes, some asians, a latino or two. No black chicks, unfortunately.

* The lighting, sound and camera work is no-nonsense. You see what you ought to seeing, not looking out the window instead. No frustrated rock-video artists here.

* No gross-outs. It seems like the last several titles I've watched were made people with snot fetishes, and I find long saliva/mucous trails arching from one's mouth to another's clit to be gross. Likewise I hate watching girls spit like they were on the mound facing the Yankees.

The bad:
* Pretty standard mediocre lesbian fare. As in get her clothes off, throw her on her back and start licking the clit. There's some kissing but not a lot, some breast/nipple sucking but not a lot. There's no real sense, at least to me, that this is what these girls might really do if the cameras weren't rolling.

* One or two chapter stops per scene. The scenes are fairly short, but still--how hard is it to put in a couple more chapter stops? Good chapter stop placement really helps a DVD, since it's easier to skip the stuff you don't care about it and zero in on what you like. Especially if you like to set up loops.

* Annoying music. Standard porn fair. It's probably asking too much, but it would nice to have a separate audio channel so I don't have to listen to it.

The So-So:
* Visuals. I said I don't want my movies to look like rock videos, but I do like a little moodier lighting, lingerie, etc. I'd rather have action I can clearly see, but a little mood lighting would be nice.

Overall, I'd give it slightly above-average rating, because the ups outweigh the downs, but I've seen a lot better lesbo stuff.
