Jade Pussycat, The Review

Review:
John Holmes is at it again as his cooler-than-you, private investigator persona, "Johnny Wadd", in "The Jade Pussycat", a very good, 1977 release from Bob Chinn and I-Candy. This time around, Holmes has been employed by the sister of a low-rent thief, Jon Martin, to find him after he goes missing upon stealing a near-priceless artifact, the Pussycat. As it turns out, it's the criminal Linda Wong and her gang of Chinese thugs who are behind the kidnapping, and what ensues is an old-school, P.I. adventure reminiscent of mainstream stories of its era...but served up with a heaping helping of Holmes' mammoth meat and good ole-fashioned fucking. Plot-wise, this film is as good as any in the Wadd series and keeps the viewer's interest from sticky start to fornicating finish, and a similar statement can be made for the sex, as well. Holmes is solid in his role--no surprises--and the female talent backing him up follows suit. As such, fans of vintage erotica, 1970's detective stories, Holmes, and/or action features will likely find this oldie-but-goody a worthwhile expenditure of 80 minutes and a couple of bucks. I did.

In terms of the sex, Scene One finds Linda Wong wetting her panties in her hotel room over her guy, Jon Martin, having located and stolen the Jade Pussycat. She rewards him with a BJ and her own pussy (pop on her tummy). In Scene Two, the star detective, John Holmes, "interviews" a new assistant, Paula Wain, by having her briefly blow him at his desk. Scene Three pairs up Martin's concerned onscreen sister, Jessica Temple-Smith, and the big-dicked P.I. that she's employed to look into the matter of his disappearance, the legendary John Holmes, back at John's place (oral, vaginal ; facial). In Scene Four, Linda Wong entertains the main bad guy's, Steven Balint's, Russian girlfriend, Georgina Spelvin, as the fat bastard furtively watches in (standard girl-girl). Scene Five brings together John Holmes and the outrageously underrated brunette, Bonnie Holiday, for a romp in Martin's hotel room (oral, vaginal ; cum-shot on her backside). In Scene Six, Jimi Lee--one of the bad guys in search of the Pussycat--sneaks up upon Yvonne Green as she masturbates with a vibrator at her place and then takes her by force (vaginal ; load on her bush). Scene Seven has John Holmes and his secretary, Paula Wain, finishing what they started in the second sequence (oral, vaginal ; facial). In Scene Eight, Georgina Spelvin stops by Holmes' apartment, as interested in his legendary cock as she is the Pussycat. Of course, he's more than willing to give it to her (...his cock, that is...), and--despite a bizarre, out-of-place, silent-filmesque lead-in--the ensuing action is hot (oral, vaginal ; money-shot on her backside out of doggy). Nice!
