review from 7/5/2019:
Distraught over dirty dreams, an innocent, God-fearing, young woman named Peaches (played by the big-busted brunette legend, Keisha) leaves the trailer park to embark upon a journey of self- (and sexual-) exploration that takes her on one hell of a wild (...and often awkward...) ride. Such is the case in "Pretty Peaches 3", a very good, 1989 release from acclaimed director, Alex deRenzy, and VCA. [read the full review]

5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is an excellent limited edition Blu-ray collection of five classic adult films. The set contains Too Naughty to Say No, Hot and Saucy Pizza Girls, The Ribald Tales of Canterbury, Prisoner of Paradise, and Dixie Ray Hollywood Star. The films on the release span from 1978 to 1985 and, honestly, fans of golden age adult films should find several to their liking, even if not all of the films included are favorites. None of the films on this release have ever looked better on home video and 5 Films 5 Years Volume 1: Golden Age Erotica is definitely worth picking up before it is sold out. [read the full review]

This release from Vinegar Syndrome has two films from Duck Dumont from the same year on it. Both films suffer from the same issue, a lack of a plot and some lacking set design, but both have the same positive to them, some excellent sex scenes. Fans of Dumont will obviously want to pick up this release fans of the genre may ultimately be disappointed by the films on the release. review from 10/10/2018:
A seemingly virginal, though certainly troubled, young woman, Rosemary (played by Sharon Thorpe), finds herself both unable to have sex unless in impersonal situations and also swirling further and further into madness, particularly upon the death of her estranged father. Where this disturbed path that her troubled psyche takes her upon will ultimately lead is anyone's guess, but one thing is for certain, and that's that it will be dark...and sexual. Such is the case in "Baby Rosemary", a bizarre, though very good, re-release of a 1976 Howard Perkins film by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

Emboldened by a female colleague's wanton activities, a newly-minted, cosmetic industry Vice President, the stunning legend, Lesllie Bovee, embarks upon a quest of sexual exploration and gratification around her home base of San Francisco. Given her rising station in life, she's in need of a trustworthy bodyguard to keep her safe, which she finds in the down-on-his-luck smooth-talker and former Navy boxer, John Leslie, who pretends to be gay to get the job. Of course, John's charade, coupled with both of their prurient proclivities, results in a powder keg that's simply bound to explode...in all manner of fucking. Such is the case in "Champagne for Breakfast", a very good, 1980 release from Chris Warfield and re-mastered by Vinegar Syndrome. [read the full review]

review from 7/29/2017:
Grafenberg Girls Go Fishing is the final film to come from the legendary Mitchell Brothers Film Group. By all appearances, Grafenberg Girls Go Fishing was never properly finished and what was collected was thrown together and thrown out on the market. The entire plot for the film is given in a series of voice overs at the beginning of the film during the first five minutes. After that, it is a random collection of footage that doesn't seem to be well assembled. Grafenberg Girls Go Fishing is just a mess and is an easy film to skip. Mitchell Brothers Film Group has done a horrible job with their streaming and the downloadable version of Grafenberg Girls Go Fishing with poor video and audio quality. [read the full review]

review from 10/12/2009:
Thirteen scenes from what some say is the golden age of porn. Unfortunately many of these film prints have gotten a bit faded through the years and aren't restored to their glory here. We are so used to hardcore today, that some of these scenes aren't quite fulfilling anymore...and the musical soundtrack is certainly something I'm glad has gone the way of the eight track tape player. Anyhow, here is a listing of the scenes and if hardcore, it is mentioned. Flick is narrated by Jim Holliday who adds a few tidbits about the women. [read the full review]

review from 10/3/2009:
A collection of gold and silver-era big-boob stars in clips from their films. The sex is definitely from that period--less harsh but a little less explicit. This was transferred over from VHS and the video quality is lacking, sounds is uneven. It's a good compilation if you like that era of soft bodies and (mostly) natural boobs, but the video quality makes this less attractive than most "regular" videos. [read the full review]

review from 9/4/2016:
John Leslie Dupre AKA John Leslie acted in many a classic xxx production from the '70s and '80s. By the late '80s, Mr. Leslie had worked with most of the great porn directors and decided to direct films of his own. He rounded up Jack Remy as director of photography, Bill Heid for jazzy or bluesy music then John directed, wrote or co-wrote and edited a great many films for VCA from 1987 through 1994. Four films from this period appear on JOHN LESLIE 4 ON 1 (2009, VCA Classics-LFP Video Group) including THE CATWOMAN from 1988, THE CHAMELEON from 1989, STRANGE CURVES from 1990 and ANGELS from 1992. At nearly 6 hours, this collection scores well with three really solid productions with ANGELS being the only misfire from the bunch. Standard frame. [read the full review]

review from 7/17/2018:
The Original Sex Academy is a prime example of how adult movies went wrong when they switched from shot on film productions to shot on video productions. The Original Sex Academy capitalizes on the name of Police Academy, but that is as far as any connection between the two movies. The Original Sex Academy is a series of sex scenes with some plotted portions between them to make the movie look like a feature movie. The sex scenes are average. There isn't any real reason to see this movie. Gourmet Video has done a better than their average job but still not average job with their DVD release with acceptable video and audio quality. review from 5/27/2017:
Alpha Blue Archives has collected two films that couldn't be more different on their release for Midnight Hustle that are tied together only by their similar sounding names. Midnight Hustle is a light-hearted comedy from the end of the 1970s whereas the second film The Midnight Hustler is a cheaply and poorly churned out one-day production from the beginning of the 1970s. The obvious appeal of the set is for viewers who collect movies with the word Midnight with variations of Hustle in the titles. Neither film has been given an overly good presentation by Alpha Blue Archives, Midnight Hustle doesn't look horrible but is missing a lot of footage and The Midnight Hustler just plain looks awful. Despite the fact that they have two eager and willing boyfriends chomping at the bit to get into their pants, Marsha Wolfe and Yvonne Green decide that it's far more interesting to whore their way around San Francisco--fucking older strangers as they do--than it is to play with someone their own age. Such is the case in "Midnight Hustle", an overall-good release from Steve Brown and Alpha Blue Archives that highlights both the deviant behavior of these two young lasses and also the cruel denial of their guys. A former stewardess possessing the looks of a brunette goddess, it's easy to understand how the lovely Leslie (Lesllie) Bovee skyrocketed to the top of the adult film industry in the 1970's. Indeed, with a sexuality that matches her beauty, she was a one-of-a-kind performer, and this ultimately landed her in the AVN Hall of Fame...as well as in the hearts (and balls) of her many fans. Collected in this release, "The Golden Age of Porn: Leslie Bovee" (Gentlemen's Video), are five sexy sequences featuring this sultry siren of yesteryear that, while clocking in at just over an hour, still serve nicely to highlight the actress's varied and distinguished carnal career. review from 5/11/2006:
Anthony Spinelli had a thing for hookers. Well, at least he had a thing for making movies which involve prostitution. By far the best of these "hooker dramas" was his 1976 masterpiece, Cry For Cindy, which was as far as I am concerned, the very first attempt to actually deal with prostitution in a hardcore film. Confessions, made the same year as the far superior V-The Hot One, is another one of Spinelli's hooker dramas, but a far less successful one. Similarly plotted to V, Confessions involves a young woman who leaves her unsatisfactory marriage to pursue a career in prostitution. Confessions is not a bad film by any means. The direction, acting, photography, etc. are all quite good, but considering the similarity between its plot and that of the superior V, it leaves something to be desired in terms of originality... However, I still give this film a mild recommendation for it is never truly dull and actually yielded some good plot twists. SEX: Lots of it. A/V Quality: It's TVX, therefore bad. John Seeman and his wife, Tracy O'Neil, have been lying to one another for years, pretending to be something that they're not, particularly as it pertains to their sexual desires. Indeed, each has decided that the other is solely interested in a "saint", while they're both secretly yearning to be sinners. When--and how--the sexual dam that holds back their wants and needs will ultimately break is anyone's guess, but one thing is for certain: break it will. Synopsis Being a history buff and a porn fiend can be tough sometimes, but The Ribald Tales of Canterbury made it a little fun. I've recently spent some time re-exploring my mis-spent youth, and this is my first review. The Tales is essentially the stories a bunch of travelers tell each other on their way to Canterbury. See Geoffrey Chaucer for more details. There is a bunch of horse riding with recounts (and sex scenes) sprinkled throughout. The Cast There are some ugly motherfuckers up in here, but I feel the women more than make up for it. The Lord of Bath (Bud Lee) is homely, but the Queen (Josephine Carrington) is very fine. Hyapatia is the lead for this flick, and she has 3 really nice scenes, but she wasn't the stand out for my stand out. One thing that I found interesting was the averageness of the women, and I don't mean that in a bad way. For instance Cheri Janvier is an attractive woman, but her proportions are all wrong for porn. Big thighs and butt, with small titties. [read the full review]

review from 9/22/2005:
"Resurrection of Eve", the Mitchell Brothers follow up to "Behind the Green Door" is a different kind of adult film on many levels. First of all, the character development and ambition of this project is unprecedented for the genre. Secondly, it is an adult film in which the sex itself is actually shadowed by the storyline. With that being said, I wouldn't recommend the movie for somebody just looking to get a quick fix. The story follows a woman named Eve (played at different points in her life by Nancy Welch, Marilyn Chambers, and Mimi Morgan). She meets a smooth DJ named Frank Paradise (Matthew Arnon) whom she falls in love with and eventually marries. A soft spot for Frank, however, is Eve's friendship with black boxer Johnnie Keyes (playing himself). He gets insanely jealous, despite absolutely nothing going on. This eventually leads to a breakup, which leads to Eve (Mimi Morgan)getting into a disfiguring accident. After the accident, she is Marilyn Chambers. The movie is very involving and we could actually believe these are real people. [read the full review]

Length 78:20 Year 1981 The VCX dvd of HIGH SCHOOL MEMORIES is in fullscreen as are most of their dvd's and the picture quality is not too bad on this dvd. It's certainly a step up from their dvd of THE DEVIL IN MISS JONES. The audio is fine and everyone can be understood easily throughout the movie. This movie really deserved some extras and it includes none at all, not even the ones promised on the front cover. VCX should really get with the game and try to get some commentary tracks for their classic dvd releases as the other companies such as VCA and NuTech are doing. The story to this movie is that coach Salinas (Jamie Gillis) is coming back for a reunion with the some teachers he worked with, and a student he had on his football team 5 years earlier. He has changed a lot in the last 5 years, but first we get to see how he was 5 years earlier and it is quite an entertaining view of the trip on the bus of him and his football team to a football game.
