Synopsis:
A former football coach meets up with a former teacher while returning for a reunion at Wahoo High, the high school from which they were fired five years before. They reminisce on the events and their improprieties five years previous that lead up to their termination.

Video/Audio:
High School Memories is presented in the full frame aspect ratio, 1.33:1. I am not sure if this is the original aspect ratio for the film as some of the framing appears to be consistently off, which could indicate this was originally widescreen or the camera operator didn't know what he was doing. The picture is slightly soft with some artifacts present on the print. The colors are also a little washed out. Overall, the picture isn't that bad for the age of the film.

The available audio track for the film is a 2.0 English mono track. The default audio volume is slightly low and the music can rise above the dialog in places. The sound is very flat, as can be expected from a mono track, and muffled sounding. Overall, the audio track should have been better given the age of the film. No other language tracks and no subtitle options are available.

Chapters/Time Code:
There are nine chapters available for High School Memories from the main menu. Normally this would be more than enough for a film this length, but VCX in all of its infinite wisdom has decided to not make the chapters go to the beginning of the sex scenes. There is a time code available for this feature, so time searching is available. After checking the box again, yep it's a VCX disc and there is a time code, and the feature is all on one track. Maybe VCX is starting to learn from its previous mistakes. This is certainly a step in the right direction.

Special Features:
Nothing, not a damn thing, no photo gallery, no trailers, no goddamn advert for their website, nothing at all. Thanks for trying VCX.

Review:
High School Memories is a plot based adult film from the end of the golden age of adult entertainment. The end result is a well-done plot based adult film. The plot, although mostly inconsequential, is more than just filler between the sex scenes. There are times that you can forget that you are watching an adult film until a cock pops out.

The sex, although being very tame, is well-done and not formulaic albeit some are very short. The film features a great cast that is not only beautiful, but always seems to be having fun with each other. There is a bit more pubic hair being displayed by the cast than in most current films, which may bother some people.

Nice attention is paid to the props in this film. Not only does nothing seem out of place or reek of cheap quick set, but minute details are considered. For example, on the school bus before the first cheerleader goes down on the football player, she pulls out his cup. The end result is a film where the mood doesn't get destroyed by inconsistencies.

The Money Shot:
High School Memories is a fun film from the golden age that should please couples and fans of the classics. Those who like nastier sex, don't like a plot or don't like hairier women probably will want to skip this one. Unlike previous VCX discs, they have improved upon some of their more frustrating previous problems with this one.
