There are a few problems with the video, as it shows some pixelation and slight grain in a few spots. The audio was very good except that the balance with the music was off a little. Music: The music is done very well. Theres some great blues in the opening bar scene, and theres a lot of suspenseful music throughout the rest of the movie. John Leslie's "Playin' Dirty", which was part of his transition into smaller, more entertaining movies tells the story of Lloyd Dixon (Ron Jeremy), who embezzles $7 million out of his boss (Jamie Gillis). Jeremy and Morgan are also having an affair and they plan to leave together as soon as the money comes through. Plot The basic idea is that all of these scenes are meant to take place in a whore house. However there is no attempt to develop a story or a plot out of this premise, so it is basically your garden variety gonzo flick. In my opinion, the first scene with jasmine st. Claire is the best. Ms. St. Claire is in the tub taking a bath with all the suds you can imagine. There is plenty of cock sucking, pussy eating, and pussy and ass fucking. The next scene consists of two women (stryc-9 and iroc) with a pathetic stud. Based on some of the reviews, I had high expectations. But the Sex Island was a big disappointment for me. The girls are good looking, the picture is crisp and the settings stylish. However it just did not work for me. The narration by Tera Patrick was lame, the music cheesy and annoying (Micheal Bolton on a budget if that is possible), and they used of slow motion at some key points. This is the first Tera Patrick video I have watched and what I cannot understand is why the guy in each of her scenes ends up jerking himself off. What is it with these guys and with their directors? Initial Reaction: Its a movie that almost everybody has already seen, on one form or another. Unfortunately, the sex is average at best with the exception of Sarah Jane Hamiltons one scene. Audio / Video Quality: Surprisingly good. The picture is very clear. Theres a few glitches here and there, but the problems probably came from the master. The sound is Dolby 5.1 and quite good. Theres a few spots where theres a rumble in the background that sounded like a car was pulling up outside, but other than that, the sound is very good. "A Gay Man's Take on Straight Porn" I really did love the first "Double Feature". I thought it was hilarious, creative, and actually pretty hot. I didn't like "Bride of Double Feature" as much. Since this is a porno, I'll start with an overview of the sex scenes. There actually is a good amount of sex in this film, with a little variety here and there. The sex actually was lacking a lot of heat at times. The stand out scenes had to be the threesome with Mickey G., Tabitha Stevens, and the Pizza Girl. There was a good amount of heat, and both women look very good, with a nice touch of diversity since the Pizza Girl had a more natural body, and darker hair, and Tabitha was more your typical blonde porn star. This 1984 release from Cal Vista is a couple of years too recent to be considered "Golden Age," but is definitely a classic. Produced by Sam Norvell and directed by Robert McCallum, it features 70s porn superstar Annette Haven, along with John Leslie, Harry Reems, R. Bolla, and Hershel Savage. It also features "Angel" who was breifly the rage during the mid-1980s. She does a scene with Leslie and another with R. Bolla. My favorite performer is the under-celebrated Janey Robbins. She had a great body and was a very enthusiastic sex performer. Robbins also has a cute Minnesota accent (like the female sheriff in "Fargo"). Here, she does two scenes, one with R. Bolla and one with Hershel Savage (a purported incest scene). Strangely, it appears that this movie was intended to have a sequel, but I've never seen it, and I don't think it was ever made. Nu-tech has done an acceptable job on the DVD transfer; it looks much better than the tape I had. Nu-tech also features Dolby surround sound, but I couldn't detect any improvement in the sound. The VCX dvd of Debbie Does Dallas is slightly longer than the NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas. I have seen both and noticed 4 slight cuts to the NuTech dvd. None of which were major. The running time on the VCX dvd is 19 seconds longer than the NuTech dvd, but the NuTech dvd has a better quality picture so I would recommend going with the NuTech dvd over the VCX dvd. The VCX dvd is divided into 5 chapters and there is a pause when the player switches between these chapters. This is not the case on the NuTech dvd as the movie is on one track on the NuTech dvd. Length 83:42 Year 1978 This review will be a comparison between the 2 current releases of Debbie Does Dallas by the companies VCX and NuTech. With a review of the movie following. The VCX dvd of Debbie Does Dallas is slightly longer than the NuTech dvd of Debbie Does Dallas. I have seen both and noticed 4 slight cuts to the NuTech dvd. None of which were major. Bonnie & Clyde is a great couples film with a slim plot holding it together. I cant recommend it for fans of nasty sex or people who cant stand any plot in their adult films as there is enough of a plot here that it will interfere with their viewing. It would have been nice if the video had been of better quality and that instead of putting the useless standard Vivid special features that the two films had been presented in their entirety as there would have been plenty of space for them. Here's my honest opinion: White lightning is a series of sexual encounters linked together by relationships. There was a lot of jealousy and pouting by the characters, who were upset that their significant other was cheating, but then that character would imediately go have sex with someone else. I thought this was a lame attempt at drama. The story line was pretty dumb, even though there was an attempt to make it intresting. The movie was a bit long...to long for my husband and me to wait, so we had to watch the ending later. I thought there would be a twist, or a surprise at the end, but there wasn't.
