Before going back to work, the accountant asks Lisa Ann about a small box on her table. She says she bought it from the Antiques dealer, and it belonged to a XII century English sorcerer. Yes, it's an old premise, but director Francois Clousot does a pretty good job with it here. The sex just makes it past the average mark due to a fair amount of dubbed audio and a couple scenes that feel like they could go a little longer, but the story is nicely done. Julie Meadows, Ryan Conner, and Cheyanne all deliver pretty good scenes here (with Julie doing three of them), while Tina Cheri's scene didn't quite make the average mark for me. Initially i picked this up after having seen 'Dangerous things' and wanted to see more of Kristina Bella. This isn't the best private film, but the sex isn't bad and the girls range in sexiness. And then there's Steve Holmes... You see Private films have a way that the girls play to the camera in the sex scenes. It can be fun and sexy, especially during a facial as it has a close up, (and if the girl is especially hot, which is usually the case, then it's a real plus!). Under NO circumstances should a guy play to the camera!!!! I managed to ignore Steve Holmes in Sex Sliders, which is the point. The guys should be ignorable, without being too ugly or old etc. In fact, i don't mind when the guy is 'fit', as it keeps my girlfriend quiet! But the guy is never center stage really. Anthony Spinelli's "Sex World" is a movie that I have been wanting to see for a very long time. I finally obtained a copy of this 1978 classic and the wait was well worth it. As an adult movie with a real plot and actors who could actually act, this film is effective on several levels: As erotica, a character study, and a psychological drama. There are many characters to keep track of here and the movie is practically a who's who of porn in 1978. The story revolves around a group of people taking a chartered bus to a resort known as "Sex World". The characters include Annette Haven as a lesbian left by her lover (Cris Cassidy), who comes to the resort looking for a heterosexual encounter; an adult movie enthusiast (Sharon Thorpe) who can't express her desires in real life; a racist (John Leslie) who is slowly seduced by black beauty Desiree West, and several couples having various sexual problems.
