Initial Expectations: With the exception of Reves de Cuir , Plum’s foreign releases haven’t been too impressive so far which doesn’t give me too high of hopes.

Initial Reaction: It has some good sex, but there’s quite a bit I wish I would have fast forwarded through, such as almost every second Alain L’yle appeared.

Audio /Video Quality: The audio is available in several languages, with the original language being French. I don’t speak French, but I did check it out a little and it appeared to synch quite well with the video. The dubbing is okay, but I can’t think of a time when I watched a dubbed movie thinking “Wow this is great. I wish they’d dub more movies.” The video is surprisingly good. There’s a little grain here and there, but it looks as good or better than many adult films of today.

Music: The music is balanced pretty well with the rest of the audio. It feels a lot like mainstream music rather than porn music. Much of the music feels like it comes from a medieval movie.

Menus: The menus are about as basic as they could possibly be.

The Feature: Les Visiteuses shows why French comedies are mostly unheard of in this, or most any, day and age. The plot revolves around a Lord (Roberto Malone) and his idiot servant (Alain L’yle) who are accidently sent from medieval times into current times when trying to escape from a large woman (Groseille) who wants to bang Roberto. In the future they end up surrounded by modern versions of the people they were around in medieval times. I think there’s a little more of a story there too, but I couldn’t really make it out.

After a couple short teaser scenes, Roberto Malone gets busy with Beata, a dark haired, natural breasted beauty who’s face reminded me a lot of Nina on Just Shoot Me . The sex is normally pretty good, when it’s allowed to be a full scene rather than just a teaser, but the storyline is supposed to be fairly amusing. There are a couple chuckles, but most of it is because somebody probably paid some of these people. The best thing about the entire feature is the end credits. A short clip of each person’s scene is shown with their name so you actually know who’s who. It’s not a completely bad feature, but it is one that needs the fast forward button quite a bit.

Overall: Currently, Les Visiteuses can be found online for between $19 and $23. This is extremely high for what you get. The movie is fairly lame, with the exception of a couple scenes, and there isn’t anything worth mentioning for trailers. The best thing about it is the transfer, which is very good.

Note to Plum: A few extras would have gone a long way towards making the customer feel they got their money’s worth on this DVD.
