John Leslie's "The Catwoman", which marks one of his last, if not the last, of his sex roles is a moody, charged, and very erotic masterpiece that helped establish his directorial style. While she is walking home from work, she has the feeling that she is being followed. She literally bumps into a stranger (Leslie), who invites her for a drink. The Plot: Yep, not every great movie makes a whole hell of a lot of sense. Conquest is a good example. Our lovely tale of lust and torn bodices starts with a hanging. John "Dutch" is about to die for his crimes as a pirate. Sentenced to hang by his neck until dead (Does anyone just hang by the neck until uncomfortable?), John is rescued at the last second by his Captain, his fellow crewmen and the timely intervention of a chick with big tits. Naturally, no good deed goes unpunished, and we are treated to watching the crown prince (hilariously overplayed to perfection by somebody who deserved more credit) rant & rave about "Blackheart", our hero. Speaking of our hero, he and his crew are resting in the Batcave before setting sail. Captain Steubing receives a navigation chart and instructions to meet up with the rest of his crew at an uncharted island. Why am I reviewing this movie now? Well, I've never seen it before. Flashpoint was filmed in 1997 and debuted on VHS in 1998 (I think); the eagerly-anticipated DVD followed in 1999. After enjoying Loaded (featuring Jesse Jane) recently, I thought I'd give a shot at one of the most celebrated adult feature films in the last five or so years. Without a doubt, Jenna Jameson is the biggest adult film star since the late Nineties, but to be honest, I can't count myself amongst the Jenna worshippers. I don't know why this is; she's actually a decent actress and her sex scenes are usually very high caliber. Flashpoint's cast reads like a Who's Who in porn for the late Nineties. We've seen all of them in scenes after this, but watching this 6+ years after it was shot makes them look especially nice; it's like watching Faye Dunaway in Chinatown. Jenna's probably at the pinnacle of her adult career in Flashpoint. The Story Tragedy strikes as a firefighter gets killed in the line of duty. [read the full review]

For many reasons this film works. it is hot, literally. the fire is everywhere -- and the soapy story is entertaining enough for this kind of feature. scene by scene, it is a hot ordeal. The first fuck for Jenna is by the numbers but hot nonetheless. The 2-on-1 with Jill and Johnni is stellar. Though the buildup is odd, without provocation, the results are tour de force for both. Hearing them talk dirty is intense. The orgy fantasy sequence hits the spot. Sindee usually doesnt do it for me, but fucking alonside Jill and Johnni made her good enough. Next is my favorite scene, the 4way with Asia and Sydnee. Finally, some dark hair beauties . Asia never looked better, especially when getting wet in the pool. Both these hot cocksluts fuck hard and it is at this point, I want to jump right in. in terms of blac/dark brown hair beauties, the only ones hotter to me are Rocki Roads and Jewel DeNyle but if I want to finish this reveiew I better stop thinking about it. Wow. Insatiable is the first classic porno Ive seen and it truly is classic. After watching this movie beginning to end (a porno rarity) I felt compelled to tell all of you how phenomenal it is. The increasing intensity portrayed so well by Marilyn Chambers mirrors the increasing intensity of a fist gripping, teeth clenching, heart pounding roll in the hay. The plot and the sex intermingle like a sensual story rather than a series of action sequences. Insatiable is more than a porno -its a finely constructed, very erotic movie (not to mention the groovin soundtrack.)The initial sex scenes arent even really sex scenes -lots pleasing and teasing, no cum shots. Unfortunately, Annabel Chong worked her way into the movie too ... but these things happen. The teen theme works well with the four young girls and their nice natural bodies. The plot is pretty stupid it has some amusing moments but is entirely skippable. Ive disliked most of Jim Powers work but this movie seems more coherent than his others and the sex was OK. While great for Powers and decent by normal comparison, there could have been a lot more done with the cast (especially Gwen). This is a film directed by Frank Thring, which is well known in Pirate productions (Pirate is the label for Private fetish films), so maybe I expected more. Anyway, it's not a bad film, but it could have been better. The cast is entirely American, something very very unusual in Private films, so if you want to see natural tits, with no cosmetic surgery operations, you are choosing bad. The girls (from Alexandra Nice to Amber Michaels, passing Alexis Amore and some more) are almost all with artifical breasts, which I think it's a bad point. If you are looking for a film to get stimulated by or get off on, this is not the film to do it. If the film sounds good to you and you are not squemish or easily offended I would recommend this film be rented before purchasing. Caligula is also available in an hour and 42 minute R-rated cut from Image as well, which has had 48 minutes removed from it. I have never seen the R-rated cut so I can't comment on it's continuity.
