Review:
Trading in his iconic glove and sweater for a big dick and a trench coat, the pervy "Eddie" (Randy Spears) terrorizes a group of (adult) high school students by taking over their dreams...and fucking them. Indeed, the sex-obsessed janitor, who passed away tragically in a laboratory fire at the school, adopts various forms (himself, a teacher, a friend's mother, and so on) as he invades his victims' reverie and shows them a nightmarishly good time. The only way to win...and to keep from becoming oversexed and sleep-deprived? to beat him at his own game. So goes Nightmare on Porn Street, a good, 1988 parody of the iconic horror flick of the same era and similar title from director Scotty Fox and Moonlight Entertainment.
Featuring a fun and sexy plot and acceptable sets and production values, this takeoff of the mainstream classic finds the blonde cutie (Britt Morgan) and her friends (Mike Horner and the foxy Brandy Wine) fucking it out in sexy style across the dreamscape. Indeed, Britt takes on Spears himself twice, once in Eddie's house and once in a classroom, while Brandy gets it from her exceedingly boring (though sexually proficient) philosophy teacher (Robert Bullock), also in a classroom. Brandy also goes full-tilt with the redheaded legend and Britt's mother, Shanna McCullough, as does Mike Horner, both in Morgan's bedroom...though in separate sequences. While all of the action is fairly standard for the era, the cast delivers the goods well and generally manages to keep up the sexy throughout.
All in all, this one is an enjoyable--albeit simple--little dose of nostalgic nookie that provides a pornographic glimpse into a popular horror property. Though nothing to write home about, it holds up well enough for fans of the genre to check out...at least as a low-cost purchase and/or rental.
