OMG...I'm feeling impelled to start an Passolini cult! After visiting the set of Unreal and seeing Antonio work firsthand, then seeing the finished product on DVD, I knew I was a fan. But after seeing Cafe Flesh 2, I am a devotee. Toss together a Voyeuristic Beatnik Alien, a load of Hot Babes in Wacky post "The Bomb" costumes, Mimes that get it on, a Defrosted Farah Faucett look alike. Shake, don't stir and you have what came off like Passolini's fuck filled version of Alice in Wonderland (or is that Jeanna in Wonderland) The Run Down -VCA & Antonio Passolini's Cafe Flesh 2 What I Liked -Heat. Finally some heat! So often porn looks so mechanical. Stand here, lift your leg, insert penis. This DVD creates and holds it's heat throughout. Special mention to Rebecca Lords, she is beautiful and engaging. (although in my opinion far too thin) -Loved the narration. This was such a great touch, it really took the hand (or mind as the case may be) of the viewer and led us through the story. -For once the acting didn't make me wanna gag! Now mind you, there were no stellar performances here but it was almost believable. -Really enjoyed the poetry slam interludes. What a fantastic touch, it really added depth to the plot. -The use of common objects in a tight shot to add to the atmosphere and setting the tone for a scene. Brilliance. -Dug the end credit roll with the bomb/fallout accompanied by the Go-Go dancer. The surrealism doesn't end with The End eh? -Special mention also to D3, I know editing is a big part of making the artists vision come to life and you certainly did. Thank you for keeping the best bits off the editing room floor. ;-) What I Didn't Like Extras None to speak of:
I Would Recommend this DVD to My Overall Impression What it's Worth & Where to Find it $25, www.adultdvdtalk.com/price_search/search_item.asp?sku=118 More info at: Have fun, be safe. |
