I actually purchased "Insatiable" more for the content of the extras (the commentary tracks, although unfortunately it turned out the one with Marilyn Chambers is not featured on this DVD release) than the feature itself although it was certainly an acceptable film with plot, acting, technically well done (like most films of the Golden Age), although I was a bit disappointed with the sole commentary tracks by Gloria Leonard (who does not appear in the film). I've listened to several other tracks with her (The Opening of Misty Beethoven, Barbara Broadcast, Nurses of the 407) and I think they benefitted by having another participant (Jamie Gillis on the former two, Bill Margold on the latter), but she flies solo this time and has a tendency to talk about herself and scenes she's done it as opposed to the film itself. Although it was nice hearing her talk about free speech and the Golden Age, it all seemed rather self-serving to me. I'd recommend to get the VCX version myself (which includes the Marilyn commentary I thought I was getting), but I don't think I'll pay for the movie twice just to get it.
