Synopsis:
In the continuing story, Tatiana (Tania Russof) prepares herself so the Marquis of Icecrown (David Perry) will want her and allow her to get close enough to him so she can extract her revenge.

Video/Audio:
Tatiana 2 is presented in a widescreen ratio, approximately 1.85:1, which appears to be the original aspect ratio. The picture is good with no artifacts or video blemishes. The color levels are perfect. There is some grain present in the picture and what could be conversion artifacts from the PAL to NTSC conversion. The picture is clearer than that of the first Tatiana disc.

The original audio track, a 2.0 French Stereo track, is present on the disc and sounds absolutely wonderful. Unfortunately, those who can't understand French are stuck listening to one of the crappy dubbed tracks. The 2.0 English Stereo dubbed track is poorly done, the original French dialog is still present with an English voiceover narration of the story. Of course for five minutes of dialog you get a three sentence voiceover. Private would have been better off to have put on English subtitles instead. There are also 2.0 Stereo dubbed tracks of the same nature for viewers who speak German, Spanish and Italian and there are subtitles for Dutch, Swedish, Danish, and Portuguese.

Chapters/Time Code:
There are eight chapters available from the main menu for Tatiana 2. They are identified by a short video clip from the scene that they go to. They provide decent navigation through the film, but more would have been preferred. There is a time code for the feature film, so time searching is available.

Special Features:
Private has put several extras on the disc, but those of you who have seen the first in the series will recognize many of them as the same ones that are on that disc. First up are the film specific extras. There is the trailer for the Tatiana series in widescreen, which was included on the first disc as well. A eight-and-three-quarter minute making of the film feature in English called Report, which was also included on the first disc as well. Production Notes is a English text feature that reads like a press report that was also available on the first disc. Cast contains text information and Private Video/Magazine filmography for Brigitte, Inga, Myrka, Natasha, and Sandra. Photobook contains 16 photos that you flip through from the feature film.

The only extra that is not specific to the feature film are the previews for Operation Sex Siege, Uranus, and Xtreme Desires.

Review:
Tatiana 2 is the second part of Private's Tatiana Trilogy and the story continues from where it left off in part one. Viewers who like to follow plots will want to watch the first part before viewing this one. Viewers who have taken an interest in the plot from the first part will find this film to be disappointing as it doesn't do much to advance the story very far.

What it lacks in story, it makes up for with the sex scenes. The cast is better looking than in the first part and still hold on to a decent ability to act. The cast interacts well with each other and seems to be having a good time throughout the film. The sex is very well done and hot. The scenes all provide some variety so they don't get monotonous but they all are on the nastier side, which may turn away couples viewers and viewers who like tamer sex. The sexual themes in the film are oral vaginal and anal sex with DP.

As with the first part, the props and costumes used in the film are great. Not only do they look right for the time period that the film is taking place in but they enhance the mood created by the film. The locations are great too. Not only to they fit the scenes and enhance the mood, but there weren't any modern technical mistakes that I noticed, like power lines in the background, or anything like that. The cinematography is great here and, like in the first part, is above average for a modern adult film.

The Money Shot:
Although this film does little to advance the story, the sex is good and the photography is beautiful. If you enjoyed the first film in the series, then chances are you will like this one too. Viewers who like nastier sex with a plot will get the most enjoyment from this film. If you are interested in the story, you might be better off purchasing the Tatiana Trilogy from Private as it contains all three of the films in the series.
