Plot: While archeologists William and Elizabeth Reuter are busy working in the forbidden ruins of Abu-Sir they discover a map of the pyramid that reveals a hidden treasure. The map leads them to an ancient sarcophagus containing Amira, the Egyptian Goddess of Love (Tania Russof), who has been asleep for 4,000 years. Review: Private , since the last year, is doing a good thing to increment their sellings: every month they release a DVD Pack of a trilogy of films with a sampler, or a pack with 4 or 6 films with common things. This one,The Pyramid Trilogy , which packs in three parts the whole thing, was one of the earliest. But even knowing that these films are quite "old" (from 1996, in DVD from 2001), I decided to buy it. The results are not bad at all. The Pyramid 1 I think the beginning of the Private "big era" started with this film, a huge super production filmed in Egypt, with some problems which you probably know. As far as adult films go, The Pyramid trilogy is a good set combining high production values, hot sex and a decent story. The only problem that I have with the trilogy is the ending is a complete let down. If you like plot driven adult entertainment, this is the way to pick up the trilogy as it gives you all three films, plus a sampler disc, for one lower price. Viewers that don't like a plot or don't want to see some country side scenery will want to pass on this title. For all others, this trilogy is highly recommended. [read the full review]

All in all, Tatiana Trilogy DVD Pack is a mixed bag. The sex is great, the cast good looking and effort went into the locations, costumes and props, but the plot and audio tracks are lacking. If you are interested in owning the Tatiana Trilogy, the Limited Edition DVD Pack is the way to purchase it, as it provides the best value to the customer. Viewers who like adult films with a historical setting, nasty sex and plot based films will get the most enjoyment from this series. Viewers who like tame sex or hate plots in adult films will want to avoid this series. As this DVD pack is rather expensive, if you are interested in it you might want to rent it first. Unfortunately, if you already own the series from the previously released single discs, this pack offers nothing new but the sampler disc which can be obtained by itself cheaply online. Initial Reaction: Wow. Theres a couple things Im disappointed with, but overall Im really impressed. Audio /Video Quality: Both are very good, if not excellent. I had always heard that Private has the best transfer around and Im tempted to believe them after watching this. Theres a little grain to the picture, but not that much. It noticeable here and there but most times you have to look for it. Also, The Pyramid 1 is presented in widescreen (Im guessing about 1.66:1). Its great to see widescreen making its way into the adult films and I hope to see it more in the future. [read the full review]
