Plot:
While archeologists William and Elizabeth Reuter are busy working in the forbidden ruins of Abu-Sir they discover a map of the pyramid that reveals a hidden treasure. The map leads them to an ancient sarcophagus containing Amira, the Egyptian Goddess of Love (Tania Russof), who has been asleep for 4,000 years.
Review:
Private , since the last year, is doing a good thing to increment their sellings: every month they release a DVD Pack of a trilogy of films with a sampler, or a pack with 4 or 6 films with common things. This one,The Pyramid Trilogy , which packs in three parts the whole thing, was one of the earliest.
But even knowing that these films are quite "old" (from 1996, in DVD from 2001), I decided to buy it. The results are not bad at all.
The Pyramid 1
I think the beginning of the Private "big era" started with this film, a huge super production filmed in Egypt, with some problems which you probably know.
The film starts with a boring sex scene male-female. I don't think the sex starts good in this film, but then it goes into a better scene, with an arabian girl banged by three guys. The third scene marks the high point in this point: two heterosexual couples doing DP's, swing, etcetera. The two girls look fantastic, anyway. The next scene is the best, with Tania Russof (the main star) fucking in a swimming pool, preceeded by a great introduction. The last scene is good, too. The girl looks fantastic and there's DP, 180ยบ camera (or something like that) and a great end. You want to see more.

The Pyramid 2
The second film starts with a summary of the first one. Then it starts an orgy: Deloin fucks with a lot of girls, but the scene could have been better. Then, oral sex out of the building, not very good. But the third scene takes all that bored minutes and throw them to nowhere. It's great watching Tania Russof (she does the best scenes) and Gabriella Bond fucking with the security man. The fourth scene is fine, not very special. The fifth is great, the orgy between soldiers and arabian girls is beatiful, I really enjoyed it. The sixth scene ends the second film and it's very Pierre Woodman, so you would probably like it.

The Pyramid 3
This one ends the trilogy, and it's the worst. I really like the first scene, but the rest is very boring. I prefer not to comment them.

Overall rating
The trilogy is good, very 90s and very European. If you don't like European porn, forget these as you forget Marc Dorcel and Salieri productions. In other case, buy it. Pierre Woodman is a good director, and this film is good to know how he started seriously with the issue of porn director. Maybe there are better films of Woodman, but this is great and you'd probably like it.

Video/Audio: The film is from '96, but the quality is good. The worst thing is dubbing on other languages (except French) and overdubbing in English.
Extras: Each DVD includes a bit of an interview with P Woodman, made in 1997. It's interesting. The best thing: the english speaking of Woodman, with that French accent.
There's also a DVD Sampler, number 6, with a lot of trailers (almost 50) and three scenes, from Private Perfect, Private Gladiator and Private Sex Survivors. The best scene is Gladiator, at least in my opinion.
