Dirty Laundry Pictures "Young, Ripe & Russian" catch my eye with the title alone, and let my imagination fly high, but settle rather quickly with only four scenes you have to have way better scenes to top a five one, which I never mind instead of throwing there the tiresome fillers, 1/2 and 1/2 sex wise still doesn't make it to upgrade the score and the low light and shaky camera work, not bad, but not as good as it can be with a penny more of care. I'm not quite sure how to assess this DVD. Obviously it is something far different from a "regular" Rocco movie. The scenes are all consisting of Rocco with one girl (in Russia) at a hotel room, just her, him and the camera. They hang out a little, the atmosphere is informal and a bit awkward. It rather blurs the line between performance and realness and ends up more on the "real" side, like Rocco and these girls doing amateur sex scenes. [read the full review]

This is a very nice release. The movie is a fairly light feature with plenty of hard sex, but surprisingly the scenes were fairly short compared to a lot of recent gonzo scenes. The story seemed to have problems following itself, but the movie seems like it was more concerned with racing, hot sex, and having fun than trying to tell a story. The real star for me was the extra footage, which lasted almost as long as the movie and felt a bit like a porno mockmentary complete with several sex scenes that were every bit as hot as the scenes in the main movie. Regardless of which you watch, the technical aspects are well done. This release surprised me in many ways, and is well worth checking out due to the different feel between the two movies. There are some themes that tie things together a bit and allow for certain (sometimes ridiculous) set-ups to the action. Although Victoria only did one photo shoot for Private, I could tell that she had what it took to become a major force if she didn't return to obscurity. DVD Quality: The video quality is good, but the sound quality varies from scene to scene. Extras: The central piece of the extras are the photo sets of the women embedded in their profiles. But even knowing that these films are quite "old" (from 1996, in DVD from 2001), I decided to buy it. The results are not bad at all. As far as adult films go, The Pyramid trilogy is a good set combining high production values, hot sex and a decent story. The only problem that I have with the trilogy is the ending is a complete let down. If you like plot driven adult entertainment, this is the way to pick up the trilogy as it gives you all three films, plus a sampler disc, for one lower price. Viewers that don't like a plot or don't want to see some country side scenery will want to pass on this title. For all others, this trilogy is highly recommended. [read the full review]

The Pyramid 2 doesn't quite live up to the first entry in the trilogy, the sex scenes are nice but the story starts to wan as is what seems to happen in the Private super productions. Don't get me wrong, if you are a fan of high production values, plot driven adult entertainment and the Private European style of porn, this film is definitely one that you should pick up.
