Private Castings 37: Claudia Ricci review summaries:
Tongue in Groove's
Can anyone actually say what is good and what is bad in porn? Of course not. For every stroker who likes abusive, hard-charging sex there is another who likes softer, more couples oriented features. Luckily there is enough variety out there to make just about everyone happy. Then there is the Private Castings series. As broad-minded as I like to think of myself, I cannot fathom anyone enjoying this series. There are nine scenes in this edition (if you count a short strip tease in the finale) and I found myself fast forwarding through most of it. Each scene opens with (supposedly) the first interview director Pierre Woodman conducted with each girl before she went on to make movies. The interviews are repetitious and boring. Pierre speaks poor English, and few of the girls speak any at all. So we have to wait for an interpreter to do her thing before and after each response. [read the full review]

Private DVD Pack 9: Pyramid Pack 1, 2, 3 review summaries:
Dog Style's
Plot: While archeologists William and Elizabeth Reuter are busy working in the forbidden ruins of Abu-Sir they discover a map of the pyramid that reveals a hidden treasure. The map leads them to an ancient sarcophagus containing Amira, the Egyptian Goddess of Love (Tania Russof), who has been asleep for 4,000 years. Review: Private , since the last year, is doing a good thing to increment their sellings: every month they release a DVD Pack of a trilogy of films with a sampler, or a pack with 4 or 6 films with common things. This one,The Pyramid Trilogy , which packs in three parts the whole thing, was one of the earliest. But even knowing that these films are quite "old" (from 1996, in DVD from 2001), I decided to buy it. The results are not bad at all. The Pyramid 1 I think the beginning of the Private "big era" started with this film, a huge super production filmed in Egypt, with some problems which you probably know. The film starts with a boring sex scene male-female. [read the full review]

As far as adult films go, The Pyramid trilogy is a good set combining high production values, hot sex and a decent story. The only problem that I have with the trilogy is the ending is a complete let down. If you like plot driven adult entertainment, this is the way to pick up the trilogy as it gives you all three films, plus a sampler disc, for one lower price. Viewers that don't like a plot or don't want to see some country side scenery will want to pass on this title. For all others, this trilogy is highly recommended. [read the full review]

Private Gold 13: The Pyramid 3 review summaries:

The Pyramid 3 is the final part of the trilogy and the story continues from the first two parts. If you follow a story, you'll want to view the first two parts or pick up the Trilogy DVD Pack to obtain all three at the same time. The story picks back up, but unfortunately, the ending to the trilogy is a complete let down. I know it is porn, but I expected more. If you are a fan of story driven, high production value, Private European style adult entertainment you'll probably want to pick this up, just prepare to be disappointed by the ending.
