Review brief: Apparently, this is one of the best titles in Black Label collection. But it isn't, actually. Jose Maria,Ponce is a spanish well known director in his country, because he made films like Gothix (which later inspired this film), Four Sex Rooms (a parody of Four Rooms, with four porn directors) and mainly because he was the first serious porn films' director in Spain (nothing really explicit was filmed in Spain until his coming, in 1993). So Private expect more of him. In fact, he later directed another film for the Fetish Machine label. This is an explanation for those who don't know the full story. The film is good, but maybe most people were disappointed for everything. Ponce tried to make a mix between gonzo and feature film, but it tends to the first side, though the sex could be much stronger. And that's the main problem: if you make a mixture and you give more importance to one side, but at the same time you try not to make it as strong as it should (because there's a producer who says that you should make a feature, not a gonzo), then the results are bad.

It's directed by Kovi, who started the new label with their fetish films, like Frank Thring (who started the Pirate Video Deluxe label). The film has four sex scenes, separated by a very simple (but effective) plot. Each photo taken means the start of a scene. In every scene Michelle appears with another girl/s and boy/s. The technical purpose is good in this film, using things like a tomatoes pool to add some excitement to the scenes. Unfortunately, those who love the wildest side of the fetish stuff will be disappointed with this film. Almost everybody complains about the weakness of the sex in most Private productions (except some Private Xtreme and recent Fetish Machine movies) and that's true, though maybe it's a good thing too, because it opens a door to those who never thought about buying fetish films and this is a good start.

This is another film by Kovi, the czech director who worked for Private until one or two years ago. He's good, but maybe overestimated. This film is a proof: even good directors can make a mistake, or two, or three. The main star (and the best of this film) is Michelle Wild . She appears in three scenes: the first, with two guys, doing DP and that stuff, but not too hardcore; the second, doing lesbian things; and the last, with a boy, very typical and maybe boring in some ways. The rest of girls are unknown girls from Budapest and Prague. They look nice, but the acting is not very good. As I've said, the best thing is Michelle and the best scene, the first. This is a film directed by Frank Thring, which is well known in Pirate productions (Pirate is the label for Private fetish films), so maybe I expected more. Anyway, it's not a bad film, but it could have been better. The cast is entirely American, something very very unusual in Private films, so if you want to see natural tits, with no cosmetic surgery operations, you are choosing bad. The girls (from Alexandra Nice to Amber Michaels, passing Alexis Amore and some more) are almost all with artifical breasts, which I think it's a bad point. Review brief: Plot: While archeologists William and Elizabeth Reuter are busy working in the forbidden ruins of Abu-Sir they discover a map of the pyramid that reveals a hidden treasure. The map leads them to an ancient sarcophagus containing Amira, the Egyptian Goddess of Love (Tania Russof), who has been asleep for 4,000 years. Review: Private , since the last year, is doing a good thing to increment their sellings: every month they release a DVD Pack of a trilogy of films with a sampler, or a pack with 4 or 6 films with common things. This one,The Pyramid Trilogy , which packs in three parts the whole thing, was one of the earliest. But even knowing that these films are quite "old" (from 1996, in DVD from 2001), I decided to buy it. The results are not bad at all. The Pyramid 1 I think the beginning of the Private "big era" started with this film, a huge super production filmed in Egypt, with some problems which you probably know. The film starts with a boring sex scene male-female.

Review brief: I've recently bought this Limited Edition 4 DVD Pack, which includes four features: -Fetish and Magic (directed by Kovi, featuring Michelle Wild)(Fetish Machine) -Perversions of the damned (directed by Frank Thring, with Alexandra Nice as the main star and Alexis Amore in the cover) (Pirate Video Deluxe) -Faust, the Power of Sex (directed by Jose Maria Ponce, with Nacho Vidal, Belladona, Toni Ribas, etc) (Pr Black Label) -Eternal Love (also directed by Kovi, featuring Michelle Wild) The best thing in those DVD's is the report, on all of them. The report I like best is from Faust , because I know what they say in spanish without reading the subtitles so I can understand what Toni Ribas and Nacho Vidal are trying to say when they are answering the questions, and it's very funny and interesting, specially that bit when they explain how Andrew Blake works (an odd thing, of course).
